Kanulock develops security systems designed to make transporting surfboards and board-sport equipment more reassuring. Installed on a vehicle's roof bars, Kanulock locking straps hold equipment in place while travelling and help reduce the risk of unauthorised removal during stops.

Surf, SUP, wingfoil or kite: boards are bulky pieces of equipment that often remain visible on the roof of the vehicle. A simple break on the road, a stop at a shop or parking near the spot can leave your gear unattended. Kanulock offers a practical response by combining secure hold, locking and ease of use.

Kanulock straps incorporate stainless-steel cables that make them harder to cut than a conventional transport strap. Their lockable buckle also prevents the system from being easily loosened without the corresponding key.
Once the boards are positioned on the roof bars, the straps wrap around the equipment and the rack. They therefore serve two purposes: holding the load securely in transit and providing added protection when the vehicle is parked.
This system is a useful deterrent for daily trips, surf trips or travel between several spots. It does not replace normal precautions, but it allows you to leave your equipment with greater peace of mind during a stop.

Kanulock focuses on simple use so it does not complicate session preparation. The principle is similar to a traditional roof strap: position the boards correctly, pass the straps around the bars, then tighten and lock the buckles.
The system is suitable for transporting different types of board-sport equipment, including surfboards, SUP boards, wingfoil boards and kiteboards. Appropriate padding between the board and the roof bars is still recommended to protect the hull and spread pressure points.
Before driving, always check strap tension, load stability and that no loose section can flap in the wind.
