The Sway Wood Flex is a 100% freeride twintip, light and ultra comfortable. It allows you to progress quickly to an advanced level, with impeccable comfort.

Presentation

Super easy, veeeeeery comfortable, the Sway puts you in a good place from the get-go.

It offers perfect grip to make upwind edging easier. Control and therefore confidence is total even under strong gusts. It flies over chop smoothly and without splashing water in the eyes, a delight.

Slightly narrower tips make for a more curved outline than the rest of the range, which offers very smooth handling and allows you to edge without forcing. The board is easy and very forgiving. You don’t get carried away, and that’s really nice.

The combo of a paulownia wood core, a benchmark for high-end boards, and biaxial fiberglass, is ideal to offer you a soft/medium flex that’s perfectly suited to a freeride/evolution use. Combined with a French biosourced resin and a matte finish resistant to micro-scratches, this construction is super beautiful, clean, and durable.

The Sway is a great board for rapid progress and more:

Ultra easy and comfortable, it will follow you far in your evolution as a kitesurfer.
Lightweight, it is totally forgotten during classic jumps and board off jumps.
Comfortable, it always cushions the landing of jumps, whatever the body of water or the landing speed.
Its flex gives it a progressive pop, very soft and comfortable, with a simple and straightforward edging which boosts control.

Manufactured in the best twintip factory in Europe, the Sway Wood Flex combines excellent materials with a harmonious shape, to offer ultimate comfort, whatever the condition of the water.

OUTLINE

With its more curved outline, the Sway offers maximum versatility. The reduced tips allow super smooth turns. The grip is progressive and allows effortless upwind edging. General comfort and ease are as good as they get.

TOP SHAPE

To obtain optimal comfort, the top shape of the Sway gradually varies in thickness.

The thin rails provide comfortable and consistent grip, while the thickness in the center provides more comfort and allows twist control.

BOTTOM SHAPE

The light but clearly present channels on the hull also contribute to the softness and comfort of the Sway. Extra grip to edge upwind and to pop for a jump, without impacting the maneuvers you need perfect glide for.

ROCKER

The progressive rocker complements its soft/medium flex, to allow the Sway to combine maximum pop and comfort.

FINS

The fins delivered with the board are 45mm deep for perfect grip in all conditions. This is the ideal compromise to keep a playful board with the necessary grip.

These fins benefit from our expertise in the world of foiling and offer an ultra-modern profile allowing excellent glide.

Fibre de verre biaxiale 0+90° : La fibre de verre pour la solidité et durabilité et le biaxial pour les meilleures caractéristiques mécaniques.
Résine Greenpoxy 33 de chez Sicomin, composée à 35% de carbone biosourcés et sans composant CMR pour le respect de l’environnement et des travailleurs.
Une âme en Paulownia : ce qui se fait de mieux en ce moment sur les planches haut de gamme.
Rails ABS pour la durabilité et une résistance aux impacts optimale.
Inserts de straps inox renforcés et insérés dans un contreplaqué marine dans le Paulownia pour un max de résistance : inarrachable.
TT Fins 45mm en résine renforcée de fibre de verre à 33% avec visserie M5x20mm. Très résistant à l’abrasion et facilement ponçable afin de réparer les petits accrocs du quotidien.
Bottom sheet hyper résistant.
Finition mate hyper soignée. Sobre et résistante aux micro rayures.

Eco-responsible R&D

The search for green solutions to reduce the ecological impact of our products, both through their design and their packaging, is a leitmotif at GONG.

We have therefore selected the Greenpoxy biosourced resin, produced in France, for our twintip range.
GreenPoxy 33 is an epoxy resin formulated with 35% of biosourced carbons.

This innovation is the result of green chemistry, using renewable plant-based raw materials, to replace the fossil components that are traditionally used.

The integration of GreenPoxy 33 without CMR chemical components allows us to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of our products, preserve production teams, while maintaining exceptional performance.

A choice that only makes sense if production is done in Europe to limit the back and forth of raw materials.

Wood Flex Technology

Le combo wood Paulownia core et fibre de verre biaxiale offre une combinaison idéale de légèreté, de résistance et flex.

Le bois de Paulownia, connu pour sa légèreté et sa robustesse, permet d’avoir une planche facile à manipuler et à rider, solide et résistante même dans la phase d’apprentissage.

La fibre de verre biaxiale, quant à elle, renforce la structure tout en conservant une flexibilité optimale. Elle booste le confort de la planche et l’amorti dans les réceptions et rend la planche encore plus durable.

The starting point for choosing the size will be your body type. But depending on your level, you can choose different sizes:

For beginner and/or progressing kiters, choose a larger size to make it easier to waterstart and ride upwind.

For intermediate riders looking for more responsiveness and versatility, a smaller size will be great for getting into jumps.

What quiver?

The Sway with its great ease and versatility will be great with a Display. This combo will make your life easier, for easy and rapid progression without any hassle!

In light winds, a large size of the Sway paired with a Unik kite will allow you to easily sail through the lulls. The easy lift of the board and its excellent upwind characteristics, coupled with the power and stability of the Unik, will make sailing in those light conditions super easy!
