The Fury combines twin flow, channel drive and trailer control to surf fast and make your lines more radical.

Overview

The Fury is very close to a round tail shortboard, but with more glide and incredible freedom through the drive. The magic of this shape lies in its ability to glide and generate plenty of speed, stay ultra manoeuvrable and keep a very lively feel underfoot.

Seriously stylish, with a huge ability to tighten up carves, this is the board that makes every wave fun. It keeps that twin flow, that fast, free, skatey feel, but its small central trailer adds just the right amount of control to push harder without locking the board up.

A surfer used to riding a shortboard will choose it to score in summer waves, but it will probably become much more than that in their quiver. First won over by its fun, fast and playful side, you quickly get surprised by its performance, because on this shape everything is built to go fast, build speed easily and draw beautiful carves.

The Fury can handle all types of waves. In short waves, its instant acceleration is its biggest asset: just a few metres of section are enough to give it all the speed it needs. Going up to hit the lip becomes easy, because the board gets going fast, resets easily and keeps plenty of response.

On long waves, the Fury lets you work your carves endlessly. You know you have the speed, that you can turn really tight, so all that is left is to dial it back or go for it. The trailer stabilises the tail through stronger pressure, letting you tighten your lines even more while keeping the twin's free glide.

It is an alternative board that can quickly become essential in a shortboarder's quiver. First chosen for its fun, fast and skatey side, it surprises with its level of performance: twin flow, channel drive and trailer control to surf fast, free and precise in a huge range of conditions.

OUTLINE

The rear section of the outline is rounded to maximise manoeuvrability. The nose stays pointed, while keeping a bit of width through the shoulders to make paddling easier, carry speed through accelerations and maintain efficient wave entry. The central wide point brings a very natural balance underfoot: the board feels instinctive and immediate, and lets you make the most of every section without having to force it.

ROCKER

The rocker is designed to maintain a high natural speed while keeping the board capable of tight turns. The Fury gets up to speed quickly, builds speed easily and stays responsive enough to go for manoeuvres on short, fast or imperfect sections. That’s what gives it that feeling of a board that’s always ready to accelerate or change direction.

BOTTOM SHAPE

The four channels channel the water under the hull to direct and accelerate the water release. They create support that improves line hold, without restricting glide like an overly locked-in hull could. The result: you keep the free, fast feel of a twin, with more drive, more control and more stability as soon as the board picks up speed.

TAIL

The round tail tightens the turning radius and delivers more pivot than a wider fish tail. The approach is therefore more radical than a classic twin fish: you can tighten up your turns, come back tighter, and wrap around the tail with plenty of fluidity. Rail-to-rail remains progressive and smooth, with a rounded feel that keeps the flow going even when you’re pushing hard.

RAILS

The Fury’s rails perfectly complement its twin feel: free through transitions, yet precise enough when you really load the board up. They make it easy to initiate a carve, hold a clean line while maintaining grip as speed builds. The result: fluid, playful, lively handling, with enough hold to push hard and tighten your lines.

Single Tab connection: simple, direct and solid

The Single Tab system features a single, extended base on each fin. This design creates a solid connection with the fin box, making installation simple, fin changes quick, and power transfer exceptionally direct.

On the water, the benefits are immediate. The board responds instantly, the fins work without unwanted play, and every input translates into drive, grip and control. This is especially valuable on high performance boards, where precise feedback is essential at high speeds and through committed turns.

The Single Tab system also makes it easy to fine tune your setup for different conditions. Changing fin size, template or flex lets you refine the board's feel in just a few moments. It provides a clean, durable and efficient connection, allowing you to unlock the full potential of the shape.

Good to know: Single Tab fin boxes are only compatible with Single Tab fins.

Premium materials: EPS foam blanks, epoxy resin and fiberglass, all selected to meet our exact design requirements.
100% epoxy resin construction over a 28 kg/m³ EPS foam blank with a 3 mm wooden stringer.
Deck layup: 2 layers of 6 oz fiberglass and 1 layer of 4 oz fiberglass.
Bottom layup: 1 layer of 6 oz fiberglass, 1 layer of 4 oz fiberglass, plus an additional 4 oz fiberglass reinforcement patch covering the tail and fin box area.
CNC pre-shaped, checked against traditional templates, then finished entirely by hand.

What board size?

Choose a size close to your usual shortboard if you want to keep a lively, manoeuvrable board that can be pushed hard.

You can go for a bit more volume if you want more paddle power, more comfort in small waves and easier take-offs. Avoid oversizing it too much: the Fury needs to stay fast, free and reactive to keep its feel.

What waves does it suit best?

The Fury loves small to medium-sized waves, summer conditions and sections where you need to generate your own speed. It gets going very quickly and turns very little wall into a lot of speed.

It also remains very interesting in faster, hollower or more tubing waves, because the channels bring drive and hold. It is a very versatile board for surfers who want to keep speed and flow in as many conditions as possible.

Which construction?

In PU, the Fury gains more control, inertia and comfort in fast, solid or slightly choppy waves. It is the smoothest choice for keeping hold when you are pushing hard.

In EPS, it becomes lighter, snappier and more responsive. It is the ideal choice for small waves, clean conditions and surfers who want to maximise speed build-up and liveliness.

Which fin setup?

As a pure twin, the Fury delivers maximum speed, freedom and flow. It is the skateiest, loosest and most natural setup for letting the board come alive.

With the small centre trailer, it gains more hold under the back foot, more control and more precision. The trailer is optional depending on the style you are after: it lets you push harder and tighten your carves more without turning the Fury into a classic thruster.

Which shape should you choose?

Choose the Fury if you want an alternative board that is fast and stylish, with the feel of a twin but more control when you want to commit.

Is the Fury a twin or a 2+1?

The Fury is first and foremost a board with a twin feel. It can be ridden as a pure twin for maximum flow, speed and freedom, or with a small optional centre trailer to add more control and precision.

What is the central trailer for?
