I-SUP boards are high-end boards created by Patrice Guénolé, a pioneering shaper in the world of Stand Up Paddle, and a team of passionate engineers.

The I-SUP Cruising is a fast AND stable board, ideal for long rides.

Paddling is reassuring from the very first strokes. You can start out even if you know nothing about surfing or are on the larger side. You sit high enough in the water to take a passenger. It's very stiff. This is even more true in 2026 with its optimized shape. At the same length, the board gains 5 to 10 liters in the front third. This more buoyant nose also provides more support while paddling, while retaining all the qualities of a sleek, fast shape. So when you paddle harder or are looking for speed, it really takes off with its fast rocker.

But the key takeaway is its stability and generous width , allowing you to paddle for extended periods without fatigue, and to carry everything you need for breaks, meals, or even an overnight stay under the stars. Now available in four sizes, from 10'6" (290L) to 13'6" (410L) , there's sure to be an I-SUP Cruising board to suit your skill level, size, and intended use.

Outline

This shape is built for adventure. Its taut lines are designed to promote speed and paddling comfort . It's a clever adaptation of the thousands of templates we've developed over the past 30 years that allows for such efficient and user-friendly performance.

Rocker

The rocker is almost constant for fast paddling and the nose is slightly raised to easily pass through choppy water.

Round Tail

The outline, with its round tail, is maneuverable and fast. It's large enough to forgive placement errors, but it allows for easy turning to explore every nook and cranny of the spot.

Rails

The rails are round, like on all inflatable boards. But we used this natural shape to help the water glide over the board. The water doesn't stick to the rails.

Nose

The optimized nose design boosts efficiency by combining comfort and paddling speed. If you want to increase your pace, its streamlined nose will easily accelerate you.

US Box

This I-SUP features a US Box center fin box, the essential standard for high-end fins. Since fins account for up to 50% of a board’s performance, GONG has chosen this precise and versatile system for its inflatable SUPs.

The result: a huge selection of high-performance fins to fine-tune your board according to your skill level, riding style, and the conditions.

Ridge Traction Pad

With its perfect grip and 5 mm thickness, the new Ridge Traction Pad delivers outstanding comfort and absolute traction. Your footing stays fully secure, giving you precise, razor-sharp control.

The contact with the board feels firm and direct for confident footing and committed paddling performance, while still maintaining the cushioning comfort of a 5 mm pad.

Adjustable Straps

Our iSUPs feature the ELS (Extendable Load Strap) system. These adjustable, elastic, and stylish straps have been specially designed to let you easily secure all your gear on board.

We designed the ELS system to be extremely simple and intuitive to use. The elastic straps are easy to adjust, so there’s no more struggling to squeeze your bag under tight bungees, sometimes unsuccessfully, and risking crushing your belongings. Simply loosen the straps, place your gear, then tighten them again to perfectly fit your load.

The ELS system makes life easier, saves you valuable time, and brings a modern, stylish touch to your board!

Carry handles

It is equipped with carry handles for easy gripping.

A central foam and neoprene handle for carrying the board under the arm.

Two ergonomic silicone “tortoise” handles in the front third that allow you to either pass the foam by pulling the board, or to get out of the water by dragging the board on the water.

Transport Bag

Everything comes packed in a super practical and durable wheeled transport bag.

The wheels are positioned on the opposite side of the carrying panel, so they won’t bump against you while walking or roll over the shoulder straps.
The backpack straps are heavily padded and very comfortable.
The handles are extremely sturdy and pleasant to grip.
The front pocket has been enlarged to isolate and protect your paddle from the rest of your gear… while also leaving room for your wetsuit, poncho, spare clothes, and whatever else ;), now without any space constraints!
And the compression straps reduce the bag’s volume to the absolute minimum.

Double-Action Pump

The included high-speed double-action pump is extremely efficient, helping you be the first on the water without exhausting yourself:

Double action: air is pumped both when pushing and pulling the handle during the first stage of inflation.
Single action: during the final strokes, when inflation becomes more demanding as the board pressure increases, switch to single action mode so the pump inflates only when pushing the handle down. It’s far more comfortable and efficient!

Inflatable I-SUP Technology - Woven Fusion

Thanks to its high-end Woven Dropstitch Fusion inflatable technology, GONG I-SUP boards are sleek, lightweight, highly rigid, and incredibly durable.

The I-SUPs feature a double thermo-welded layer on the deck and the hull. It is this membrane that gains in lightness while maintaining the rigidity of a double layer.

The dropstitch used inside our I-SUPs is a Woven Dropstitch : it is the best assembly technique of the inflatable world, for best in class performance, rigidity and lightness.

Woven Dropstitch technology, the best compromise between weight/stiffness/strength. Combining our historical Double Layer Welded technology with the new Woven Dropstitch, this technology is by far the most reliable, lightest and stiffest.
Weight savings of around 20% compared to the classic Double Layer (no glue between the 2 welded PVC layers).
Rigidity gain of 30% compared to standard technology.
Strength gain: twice as thick as standard technology.
Double layer of PVC on the rails.
Premium Woven Dropstitch: the slightest irregularity is refused and the batch is resold to low cost factories.
High density Dropstitch Woven: with more threads per square meter than a basic Woven, it resists much higher pressures, lasts much longer, and does not present a risk of explosion.
Working pressure: 15 PSI. Our Stand Up Paddle Boards are perfectly rigid at 15 PSI. There is no need to overinflate them, but you can mount them at 20 PSI without any problem.

Paddling, paddling, and more paddling. Obviously, this I-SUP will take you everywhere. Whether you're cruising for a leisurely stroll or embarking on an expedition, the I-SUP Cruising is simply fantastic thanks to its comfortable width combined with a truly fast shape.

What size board is needed for the I-SUP Cruising?

While anything is possible, we outline the main uses here:

The 10'6 x 31'' Cruising:

Peaceful walks on all bodies of water.
It's great for surfing: even though it's more of a leisurely paddle, we'll gladly stop to catch a few waves. It's fun!
Size: ideal for adults or older children with a light build around 60kg, and more for larger builds who have already practiced.

The 11'6 x 32'' Cruising:

Trips of less than an hour and a half on all bodies of water.
Not great for surfing. More like 80% cruising and 20% surfing. It glides well straight down.
Build: ideally less than 85kg, but it doesn't really matter as it's super easy.

The 12'6 x 33'' Cruising:

Trips of more than an hour on all bodies of water, ideal for going on an adventure.
Not great for surfing. More like 80% cruising and 20% surfing. It glides well straight down.
Template: easy for everyone. No stress.

The 13'6 x 35'' Cruising:

Trips lasting several hours on all types of water, ideal for going on an adventure.
Not great for surfing. More like 80% cruising and 20% surfing. It glides well straight down.

What is the difference between our I-SUP range and our First range?

Which quiver?

This board is best paired with a 100% GONG Carbon Mix paddle, either pre-cut to size or adjustable, and a high-end fibreglass or carbon fin.

What paddle length?

Your paddling technique, posture, and stroke rate all depend on your paddling style. You'll need to set your paddle quite high for a leisurely paddle trip lasting several hours. Conversely, your paddle will be set very low for surfing, as you'll need a high stroke rate to catch a wave. Take the time to properly adjust your paddle, as it's the driving force behind this activity, and this adjustment will largely determine your stability and performance.

Some examples:

A 100% surf session, adjust your paddle between your height and +10cm.

For a more relaxed surfing experience, a paddle with a +10cm length will be perfect.

When paddling, adjust your paddle between +10 and +20cm.

Which leash?

Take a leash that is approximately the length of your board and at least 7mm in diameter.

Check its condition before each session and replace it annually. It's your life jacket.

Good to know:

Never leave your board in the sun, especially an inflatable one, which heats up very quickly. It could start to peel apart because the materials become brittle in the heat. Never store it under a car window or near any heat source.

Never let your board get battered by the waves, especially near the shore. You must protect it from the harshest forces. A wave that sweeps your board away and rolls it can cause damage.

Don't hold onto the leash indefinitely, as it can break under very high tension. Avoid large waves and don't resist. If it breaks, it's easy to replace but frustrating.

Stay away from oysters: they are one of the few shellfish that can cut your board and sink it in seconds. Extreme caution is advised.

Don't let your inflatable surfboard rub against anything for extended periods. For example, on a boat, your board might move with each wave and rub against the same spot for hours. The material will disintegrate because it will be sanded down. You'll end up with a hole that will need to be patched.

Never put the board between you and the wave: risk of injury such as a broken nose ;-)

Don't paddle offshore in offshore winds, and avoid windy outings as they are rarely enjoyable and always dangerous. Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is an activity that carries real risks, even in seemingly calm conditions. Always anticipate these risks and protect yourself.
