Programme

The Team Series carbon stab for mellow surf, freeride and easy carving: solid support, tight carves, efficient speed build-up and very reassuring control.

Overview

The Curve V3 Atmo Team Series stab combines ease, support and carbon precision to deliver a stable, settled foil with excellent manoeuvrability through carves.

It excels in wave riding, freeride, surf foiling and mellow SUP foiling. Its short fuselage tightens turning radii, speeds up rail to rail transitions and makes it easier to build speed out of a gybe, tack or turn. The foil stays playful, yet always very easy to place.

Its 8.0 aspect ratio and generous surface area deliver power at low speed, clear support and progressive lift-off. It is easier to stay flying through a soft section, after a touchdown or at the end of a manoeuvre, without dealing with an ON/OFF foil under your feet.

The slightly boomerang outline and swept-back tips stabilise the longitudinal axis and increase the stab's lever arm. This geometry makes it possible to retain plenty of support with controlled surface area, improving glide and consistency through carves without losing control.

The winglets enhance yaw and roll stability. The foil holds its line, stays settled through the pressure points and delivers that very reassuring feeling of riding on rails, including through carves. The Curve favours clean, controlled turns over very loose snaps.

Its drive is finely tuned to let you commit properly without locking up the handling. The stab keeps a lively feel and enough freedom to progress towards more committed carves.

Compared with the Perf version, the Team Series carbon construction brings more stiffness, precision, strength and direct response. Pressure is transmitted more cleanly, lines become sharper and speed build-up more decisive, while keeping the ease that defines the Curve DNA.

The Curve provides effective help with speed build-up and pumping phases out of manoeuvres. On the other hand, it is not a pure pumping stab for dock starts or flat-water distance: its winglets and shape are clearly geared towards carving and control.

The Curve V3 Atmo Team Series is therefore the ideal carbon stab for tight carving, progression and riding with plenty of support and confidence, without tipping into overly radical behaviour.

BOOMERANG OUTLINE

The slightly boomerang outline and the swept-back tips increase stability through carves and make edge pressure more secure.

The lever arm is increased, allowing the surface area to be reduced without losing the support needed at low speed.

The foil stays settled, yet remains free enough to turn tight and keep a lively feel underfoot.

ASPECT RATIO 8.0

The 8.0 aspect ratio delivers strong hydrodynamic performance while keeping the handling accessible.

This slightly reduced ratio brings more power at low speed and a more progressive take-off than on the previous generation.

The Curve still has excellent glide, stays manoeuvrable and is easy to get the most out of across the full speed range of its programme.

PERFORMANCE PROFILE

The profile works across a wide speed range, with progressive, highly predictable support.

It gives you enough presence underfoot to make speed build-up easier, along with the end of gybes and exits out of carves, without making the foil feel brutal or overly ON/OFF.

Combined with the Team Series carbon stiffness, it delivers crisp response and precise handling.

WINGLETS

The winglets enhance yaw and roll stability. The foil holds its line, limits unwanted movement and stays very reassuring as speed builds.

This stability gives you that on-rails feel, like on slalom foils, especially enjoyable on long reaches and in long, committed carves.

The Curve isn’t the loosest for snaps, not made for smashing the lip, but it’s exceptional for carving cleanly and staying in control.

LOW DIHEDRAL

The low dihedral slightly stabilises the foil in yaw while maximising power through the central section outside the winglets.

It adds support through carves and marginally complements the work of the winglets without fully locking in the rail-to-rail feel.

Handling stays predictable, lively and very easy to read.

SHORT FUSELAGE

The short fuselage makes the foil more playful, more responsive and able to turn in very tight radii.

It also makes pumping easier and helps you build speed out of a gybe, tack or carve.

The stab’s surface area compensates for the reduced lever arm to maintain comfortable support and excellent balance.

SUPERLOCK SELF-LOCKING SYSTEM

The V3 SuperLock self-locking connection was engineered to ensure a perfect fit between the stabilizer and fuselage, even after hours on the water. The more load applied to the rear of the foil, the more the joint mechanically locks itself into the fuselage.

This design delivers a direct gain in stiffness, precision, and silent functioning. The foil stays perfectly secured, with no unwanted play, even under heavy loads in turns, pumping, accelerations or hard landings. Forces are transferred more efficiently, handling becomes more precise, and the feeling under your feet remains consistent throughout the session.

The connection requires only two screws underneath the stabilizer. Assembly is quick, simple, and practical for everyday use. Swapping stabilizers takes only a few moments, without extra screws or a complicated setup.

The locking angle has been carefully engineered to provide maximum self-locking under load while still allowing easy disassembly after your session. Even after a demanding ride, the stabilizer can be removed from the fuselage effortlessly.

This self-locking concept has already proven itself over several years on our V2 and V3 stabilizers. It is a genuine mechanical advantage: simple, fast, stiff, reliable, and built to last.

A Higher-Performance Fuselage Shape

One of the key developments in this range is the complete redesign of our foils to enhance both their structural integrity and hydrodynamic performance.

Its new rounded profile delivers a 12% improvement in glide efficiency, while the thicker section near the stabilizer increases the foil's overall strength and stiffness.
Countless hours of computational analysis on high-performance computers enabled us to optimize every detail for maximum performance. Every V3 Atmo shape is designed in 3D, digitally optimized, thoroughly tested by the GONG Team, and manufactured with an unprecedented level of precision. Profiles, thickness distribution, transitions, fillets, connection areas, and trailing edges have all been refined to reduce parasitic drag, improve water flow, and maximize efficiency.

Our new production facility enables manufacturing in an ultra-clean, highly controlled environment with a level of precision approaching that of the world's leading aerospace, motorsport, and high-performance composite industries. Optimized extraction of solvents and dust creates better working conditions while ensuring cleaner parts throughout every stage of production.

Tighter control over every step, from material handling, layup, machining, and molding to cooling and finishing, delivers an unprecedented level of accuracy, particularly on the trailing edges. This controlled refinement minimizes hydrodynamic disturbances, reduces noise, improves glide, and contributes to the overall performance gains of the V3 Atmo range.

But the real breakthrough isn't just producing a beautiful part, it's producing the same beautiful part every time. Every wing leaves the factory with the same profile, the same fit, the same trailing edge, the same stiffness, and the same ride feel. In foiling, even a few tenths of a millimeter can affect ventilation, stall behavior, noise, speed, and stability.

Who is it for?

The Curve V3 Atmo Team Series is aimed at intermediate to advanced riders who want to carve tight with a foil that is easy, stable and precise.

It is particularly well suited to riders who enjoy waveriding, freeride, surf foiling or mellow SUP foiling, with plenty of support and very reassuring handling.

The Team Series carbon construction makes it more direct and more precise than the Curve Perf, while remaining very accessible in its intended use. It is never demanding.

Avoid it if...

The Curve is not the best choice if you are looking for a very loose stab for snaps or drifts. Its winglets prioritise stability and clean carves.

It is not suited to pure pumping for dock starts. For that programme, choose a Trail stab or a specialised model.

If your priority is speed, glide and a looser foil, the Fluid or the Veloce will be more consistent choices.

What for?

The Curve excels in waveriding in small to medium waves, with tight carves if you want them, plenty of control and excellent support through slower sections.

In freeride, it makes gybes, tacks and speed build-up easier thanks to its short fuselage and generous surface area.

In surf foiling and SUP foiling, it delivers a settled foil that is easy to commit into a carve and very reassuring when progressing towards more dynamic riding.

It can also work for accessible freestyle thanks to its pop and short wheelbase, but its main programme remains controlled carving.

What size?

The choice depends on the size of the front wing, your build, the craft and your level.

A larger stab brings more support, more front foot pressure, more stability and makes take-off easier. It also adds more drag and tones down manoeuvrability.

A smaller stab frees up speed and rail-to-rail transitions, with less front foot pressure and more technical handling. It may be necessary to move the foil forward in the boxes to regain the right balance.

Always match the stab size to the front wing size to maintain a well-balanced setup and consistent handling.

Who is the Curve Team Series stab for?

For intermediate to advanced riders who want to carve with an easy, laid-back feel, with plenty of support, stability and precision.

What’s the difference between the Curve Team and the Curve Perf?

The Team is stiffer, more direct, more precise and more responsive thanks to its carbon construction. The Perf is smoother and more affordable. Obviously, the very different shapes bring major differences in behaviour, especially the winglets, which are a major asset for anyone looking to carve with confidence.

What’s the difference between Curve and Fluid?

The Curve is more settled, easier and more supportive at low speed. The Fluid is much faster, looser and snappier.

Is it suited to wave riding?

Yes, that’s its main purpose. It excels in small to medium waves, with tight carves and loads of control. Everything becomes easy.

Can it be used for surf foiling or SUP foiling?

Yes. It gives you a stable, manoeuvrable foil that’s easy to commit into carves, and is particularly enjoyable for progressing. Watch out for the winglets, they’re a huge asset for locking in your carves, but avoid knocking them.

Is it suited to pure pump foiling?

No. It helps with speed build-up and out of manoeuvres, but its winglets and shape are not optimised for dock starts or distance on flat water.

Can you jump with the Curve Team?

Yes, its carbon construction and pop make that possible within reasonable use. For very committed freestyle, a dedicated stab will be much better suited.

Which size should I choose?

Choose a larger size for more support, stability and front foot pressure. Choose a smaller size for more speed, freedom and manoeuvrability. Note that it sizes large, so there’s no need to oversize.
