Presentation

The Veloce FF V3 Atmo Team Series is the high aspect carbon wing dedicated to freefly. FF stands for FreeFly: fly for a long time, maintain speed, breeze through lulls, carve, connect further, and make the most of every bump with maximum efficiency.

Its V3 Atmo shape is a true new generation shape. It retains the Veloce DNA: glide, high average speed, maneuverability, efficient pumping, beautiful lines, and comfort in long trajectories. But everything has been modernized to go further: self-stable profile, cleaner transitions, more precise trailing edges, safer tips, new anhedral offering more grip, for an overall gain of more than 20% in efficiency.

The V3 Atmo Team Series wings retain the SuperLock connection and 12K clear carbon construction: continuity is maintained. For everything else, as soon as you take off, the difference is striking. The foil is much more gliding and stable at the same time.

The Veloce FF stands well above the Fluid in glide, freefly, and long-distance pumping. The Fluid is more responsive, snappier, more dynamic. The Veloce FF maintains speed, extends flights, pumps and accelerates with less effort, and allows for further connections without becoming a purely performance-oriented wing that's difficult to handle.

Its aspect ratio of 10.6 clearly places it in the high aspect ratio category. The wing continues to move forward between supports, flies through lulls, maintains flow, and provides much more leeway to move from one wave to another, from one bump to another, or extend a freefly.

Its straight outline provides longitudinal stability and advances the center of lift. The stabilizer works with more leverage, allowing for a reduction in rear surface area, limiting drag, and further freeing up the glide.

The self-stable profile with concave on the upper surface naturally stabilizes the pitch and further reduces the need for stabilizer volume. It also provides rebound in pumping: the wing gains height with little energy, maintains speed, and transforms supports into useful distance.

The pronounced and progressive anhedral maintains true maneuverability despite the ratio. The tips are thin, free, raised towards the horizontal, and their winglet-like curve from the previous Veloce V3 has been removed. The foil remains playful, stable near the surface, and tip out becomes a non-event.

In wing foiling and lowkite, the Veloce FF is the ultimate freefly wing: you take off super early, accelerate, release traction, surf the bumps, maintain flight effortlessly, and go upwind with incredible angle.

In surf foiling and SUP foiling, it loves peeling waves, soft swells, small waves, and sessions where you want to draw beautiful lines, long carves, glide, pump, and extend surf time.

Ratio of 10.6

With its aspect ratio of 10.6, the Veloce FF clearly falls into the high ratio category. It is designed to maximise glide, average speed, energy conservation, and the ability to fly for extended periods with minimal effort.

This ratio allows the foil to maintain its speed when switching stance for instance. In freefly, pumping, downwind, or in connections between waves, the wing continues to move forward when a more compact wing would already be slowing down. You gain time, margin, and distance.

Despite this ratio, the Veloce FF remains manoeuvrable thanks to its progressive anhedral, thin tips, and rigid carbon construction. You benefit from the high ratio efficiency without having a foil that feels locked under your feet.

Straight outline

The straight outline of the Veloce FF provides longitudinal stability and very high efficiency. It moves the centre of lift forward and increases the stabilizer's leverage.

This functionality allows for the use of a smaller rear surface or a more compact stabilizer, thus reducing the overall drag of the setup. The foil becomes freer, faster, and more efficient on long lines.

This longitudinal stability also provides a lot of comfort when riding down waves, bumps, and during freefly phases. The foil maintains its trim, requires fewer corrections, and allows you to focus on the trajectory.


Self-stabilising profile

The Veloce FF profile features a concave on the upper surface, giving it an autostable character. This design helps the wing maintain a stable pitch and reduces the need for stabilizer volume.

Less stabilizer volume means less drag, higher average speed, and more glide. This is exactly the Veloce FF logic: conserving energy, extending flights, and turning every water bump into distance.

This profile also provides a real rebound in pumping. The wing gains height with little energy, maintains its flow, and allows for longer connections without exhausting your cardio.


Progressive anhedral

The pronounced and progressive anhedral makes the Veloce FF surprisingly manoeuvrable for a high aspect ratio wing. It frees the tips, facilitates rail to rail transitions, and allows for trajectory corrections without being hindered by the wingspan.

Without this anhedral, a wing of this ratio might feel locked. Here, the foil remains lively, playful, and enjoyable in wide carves, bump descents, and weight shifts in freefly.

This geometry also provides comfort close to the surface. You can fly high on the slope of a wave or bump, maintain control, and keep a serene feeling.

Safe and released tips

The tips of the Veloce FF are thin in chord, free, and angled towards the horizontal. They reduce induced drag, improve glide, and make the foil more forgiving near the surface.

The winglet-style tip curve of the Veloce V3 has been removed. We maintain a perfectly hydrodynamic tip, safer, simpler to manage, and more consistent with the V3 Atmo program.

The square tips also contribute to the protection of the rider and the wing. They limit the risk of injury at the ends, reduce breakage on the ground, and remain perfectly integrated into the hydrodynamic behaviour of the foil.

Pumping and connections

The Veloce FF is highly effective in fast pumping. It doesn't have the low-speed lift of a Sirus or the ease of a Trail, but it offers smooth, dynamic, and agile pumping as soon as the rider finds the right rhythm.

Its rebound profile helps regain height without effort. The high aspect ratio maintains speed between strokes. The Team Series carbon construction transmits efforts with less loss. Result: every input becomes more effective.

It's a perfect wing for exiting a wave with speed, passing through a lull, connecting to another wave, extending a freefly, or maintaining flight between bumps.

SuperLock Self-Locking System

The V3 SuperLock self-locking connection has been engineered to ensure a perfect fit between the front wing and the fuselage, even after countless hours on the water. The greater the load applied to the front wing, the more securely the connection mechanically locks itself into the fuselage.
This design delivers a direct improvement in stiffness, precision, and silent operation. The foil remains perfectly secure, with no unwanted play, even under heavy loads during carving, pumping, acceleration, powerful turns, or hard landings. Rider input is transmitted more efficiently, steering becomes more precise, and the feeling underfoot remains consistent.
The connection requires only two screws beneath the front wing. Assembly is faster, simpler, and more user-friendly for everyday use. Wings can be swapped in just moments without multiplying screws or complicating the setup.
The locking angle has been carefully engineered to combine maximum engagement under load with effortless disassembly after the session. Even after an intense ride, the front wing can be removed from the fuselage easily.
This self-locking concept has already proven itself over several years across our V3 foil platform. It is a genuine mechanical advantage: simple, fast, rigid, reliable, and built to last.

Team Series High-modulus Carbon

The V3 Atmo Team Series front wings feature a premium carbon construction with a clear 12K carbon finish that showcases the wing's structure. Compared to fiberglass construction, this technology delivers greater stiffness, faster response, and higher precision, while maintaining outstanding durability.
The TORAY M40J high-modulus carbon fiber used in our layups offers exceptional mechanical properties, particularly in terms of Young's modulus and tensile strength. Combined with intermediate-modulus fibers and carefully engineered layup schedules, it reinforces the structure exactly where the wing needs it most: bending, torsion, connection points, carving loads, pumping, acceleration, and repeated high-load stress.
This increased stiffness has a direct impact on the ride. Inputs are transmitted more immediately, the foil responds with greater precision, and less energy is lost through structural flex. Every pump becomes more efficient. Every carve feels more connected. At high speeds, the foil remains more stable, delivering a cleaner, more controlled feel.
The Team Series is much more than a premium carbon finish. It's a construction specifically engineered to unlock the full potential of the V3 Atmo shapes, with thinner profiles, more refined trailing edges, rigid connections, optimized layups, and a more direct feel underfoot.

The V3 Atmo range marks a major leap forward in the design, manufacturing, and finishing of our foils. Reaching this new level of performance required far more than evolving the shapes. We rethought the entire process, from R&D to the finished product.


Every V3 Atmo shape is designed in 3D, digitally optimized, thoroughly tested by the GONG Team, and manufactured with an unprecedented level of precision. For what?

The Veloce FF V3 Atmo Team Series is aimed at experienced practitioners who want to maximise freefly, glide, light wind, connections, and fast pumping with a high ratio wing that remains manoeuvrable.

In wing foiling and lowkite, it is perfect for those who want to fly for a long time with little traction, create apparent wind, fly through lulls, surf bumps, and maintain a high average speed. It's the wing that makes you want to let go of the wing or pack the lowkite and let the foil carve.

In surf foiling and SUP foiling, it suits practitioners who want to glide in small waves, soft swells, wind waves, and conditions where the goal is to connect further rather than snap short.

In downwind, it is for riders who want a fast, stable, gliding, and manoeuvrable wing for its ratio. It allows maintaining speed between bumps and crossing soft zones with more margin and making solid carves.

In pumping, it appeals to practitioners who want fast, smooth, and manoeuvrable pumping. It requires more tempo than a Trail or a Sirus, but it offers more speed and a freer feeling. Top in slalom.

The Veloce FF Team Series is also very logical for those who love glide wings but don't want to switch to a very large or highly specialised wing. It remains playful and comfortable for its level of performance.

To avoid if...

The Veloce FF is not the best choice for starting in foiling or for progressing after the first flights. For learning, the X-Over or the Ascent are more suitable. To access performance with more lift and ease at low speed, the Curve will be simpler.

It is also not the most suitable wing if the goal is to snap short, ride very radically, or seek a very responsive foil underfoot. In this area, the Fluid will be more coherent.

If the main goal is flat start or very low-speed pumping, the Trail or the Sirus will be more suitable. The Veloce FF pumps very well, but in a fast, dynamic, and manoeuvrable logic, not in a maximum lift logic.

If the goal is extreme light wind, very long connections, or maximum performance with even more lift, the Veloce LW or the Sirus may be more relevant depending on the support, level, and spot.

The Veloce FF is a freefly, glide wing that remains manoeuvrable. If you're looking for a radical wing or a pure lift wing, you need to choose a more specialised model.

For what?

The Veloce FF V3 Atmo Team Series is designed to maximise flight time. It allows you to glide further, maintain speed, carve cleanly, pump efficiently, connect more easily, and exploit the small energies of the water surface.

In wing foiling and lowkite, it excels in freefly. You accelerate, release traction, descend bumps, make big carves, maintain flight in soft sections, and reconnect with a foil that retains its energy. It is also very strong in light wind, as it combines early takeoff and the ability to accelerate to create apparent wind without exhausting yourself in pumping while remaining very manoeuvrable.

In surf foiling, it is ideal for rolling waves, cool waves, soft swells, small waves, and wind waves. It allows you to exit the wave with speed, pump, connect, and extend surf time while making solid carves.

In SUP foiling, it provides glide, longitudinal stability, and efficient pumping to exploit small swells, bumps, and weak waves. It requires more placement and rhythm than a more lift-oriented wing, but it carves extremely well for its ratio while offering much more potential for distance and speed.

In downwind, it takes off easily and helps maintain speed between bumps, cross energy holes, and hold long lines with a simple, fast, and manoeuvrable foil for its ratio.

In pumping, it is made for those who love speed and manoeuvrability. It is not the simplest at very low speed, but it becomes formidable as soon as the tempo is there.

The Veloce FF is therefore the wing for long flight phases: freefly, light wind, lowkite, gliding waveriding, easy downwind, and long connections, with a rare balance between performance and manoeuvrability.





What size?

The choice of size depends on weight, level, support, conditions, and objective: light wind, freefly, surf foiling, SUP foiling, downwind, pumping, or lowkite.

Choosing a larger size allows for better low-end range, early takeoff, pumping, ease of reconnections, and comfort in lulls. It's the logical choice for heavier riders, light wind, small waves, weak swells, and water bodies offering irregular conditions (lakes, for example).

Choosing an intermediate size allows you to enjoy the best Veloce FF balance: glide, average speed, manoeuvrability, freefly, pumping, and versatility. It's often the most coherent choice for a quiver wing.

Choosing a smaller size allows for more speed, control, manoeuvrability, and comfort in faster conditions. It's the choice of experienced practitioners, lighter riders, or spots that push more. Top in furious downwind, for example, in packed lowkite in strong wind, etc.

In wing foiling and lowkite, you need to adapt the size to the wind, weight, board, and level. The weaker or more irregular the wind, the larger the size needed. The higher the level and the faster the conditions, the smaller you can go.

In surf foiling and SUP foiling, you need to keep enough surface to start correctly and connect, but avoid oversizing if you want to maintain manoeuvrability in the wave. The right size is the one that allows you to glide without blocking the carves.

In downwind, you need to find the right balance between early takeoff, speed, and manoeuvrability. Too small makes crossing flatter zones difficult. Too large can limit speed and control in fast bumps.

In pumping, a larger size makes it easier to maintain flight. A smaller one requires more rhythm but gives more speed and freedom.

If hesitating between two sizes, choose the larger for light wind, connections, lulls, and ease. Choose the smaller only if the level, conditions, and primary objective justify more speed and manoeuvrability.




Which stabiliser?

The Veloce FF V3 Atmo Team Series works ideally with a Veloce FF V3 Atmo Team Series stabiliser. Both components are designed for the same programme: glide, freefly, average speed, pumping, connections, and control.

A larger stabiliser provides more longitudinal stability, more front foot pressure, and more comfort during takeoff. It's the logical choice for discovering the Veloce FF, for larger front wing sizes, light wind, lulls, or heavier riders.

A smaller stabiliser significantly frees up the foil. It reduces drag, increases speed, improves fast pumping, and gives a freer feeling. It's often the choice of experienced practitioners who want to fully exploit the glide potential of the Veloce FF.

The Veloce FF accepts minimalist stabilisers very well, as its straight outline and self-stable profile reduce the need for rear surface. It's one of the essential levers to transform its performance into real speed on the water.

For more downwind or pure glide-oriented practices, it is possible to use a tail shaft with a Hyper Trail tail wing. This combination further frees the foil's glide but makes the whole setup more technical.

The right setup always depends on the front wing/stabiliser pair, but also on the foil's position in the boxes. If the stabiliser is smaller and the front foot pressure decreases, you will often need to slightly move the foil forward to regain a natural balance.

If in doubt, start with a comfortable stabiliser to secure takeoff and balance, then gradually reduce to free up speed, glide, and pumping. The Veloce FF loves fine-tuning: well-tuned, it becomes a machine for long flights.
