Tricky launch but maximum reward for our team rider on the Pie and Ayto!
Scoring side-off conditions usually means dealing with wind shadows on the beach and gusts on the wave. This session was no different. With a wind that varied greatly, from "not much" to enough for big jumps if he had taken out a twin tip, our team rider made sure he would handle the lulls with the choice of a 12m Ayto that he could comfortably set in a corner of the window when wave riding, allowing him to focus on maneuvering his Pie FSP 2X. On the wave, his commitment is total, as it always is when Francesco has a board under his feet!
