When choosing a GONG foil, you can opt for:

a one-piece stab, a simple and effective plug & play solution, but without adjustment.
a tail wing combined with a carbon tail shaft and a metal shim for total customization and increased performance.

The V3 Atmo range retains our original approach with numerous one-piece stabs. It is the plug-and-play solution for getting on the water without overthinking your setup. But in a sport where sensations can be incredibly subtle, many of you want to fine-tune your setups.

With the renewal of the foil range, GONG pushes customization even further with new Upper and Lower architectures, complemented by new metal Shim Tails. Perfectly rigid and integrated, their slimmer profiles improve hydrodynamics and precision compared with a conventional one-piece stabilizer.

In the Atmo era, you get the best of both worlds: more tuning options and more performance!

This new rear wing architecture is built around three elements:

the Tail Shaft, which defines the wheelbase (S, M or L) and the Upper or Lower architecture;
the Shim Tail, available in Aluminum or Titanium, which precisely defines the Tail Wing angle of incidence;
the Tail Wing, chosen according to the performance you are looking for.

By combining these elements, it becomes possible to create several million theoretical configurations.

Good to know: this new architecture does not mean the end of the Carbon Tail, which remains in our range. It complements our offer with a solution delivering outstanding stiffness, more precise adjustment and a level of hydrodynamic continuity rarely achieved on an adjustable foil.
