Wing Neutra RH - Perf Series - Artic blue
Description
Programme
A smooth, light and precise wing for surfing freely, riding fast and maintaining natural control in all conditions.
Overview
The Neutra RH 2027 is a smooth, light and precise wing, designed to surf freely, link up carves and ride with maximum fluidity. It disappears in the waves, follows the foil naturally and is easy to reposition as soon as you need to regain power.
In freefly, its balance and low perceived weight let you leave the wing floating naturally by your side. It follows changes of direction easily, handles comfortably one-handed and stays highly mobile when the pace picks up.
As soon as you sheet in, the power comes back clearly and progressively. The Neutra settles into place easily, accelerates smoothly and maintains comfortable pull through the arms, both in the lulls and when the wind picks up. Its forward-set profile helps maintain that consistent support while promoting glide.
It also retains plenty of freedom through transitions and speed build-up. Its balanced shape and slimmer tips make changes of line easier, improve upwind ability and deliver the feel of a lively, natural wing to handle.
The centre strut has been designed to maintain a progressive response under load, with a naturally integrated back-hand position within the wing. This gives you control, comfort and precision without making the handling more demanding.
The Neutra RH 2027 brings together freefly, glide, smoothness and maneuverability in a Dacron Perf Series wing designed to make the most of the waves and ride with a constant sense of freedom.
Strut
The Neutra RH 2027 features a handle-specific strut, designed to deliver smooth, precise handling that’s easy to anticipate. Its triple-section construction lets the strut flex progressively as the wing loads up, while maintaining consistent behaviour through power changes. The handle anchor points move closer to boom geometry to keep a consistent feel between setups. The back hand sits more naturally within the wing, giving a natural, comfortable position both while riding and through manoeuvres.

Profile
The Neutra RH 2027 features a slightly tighter profile at the front to promote glide and maintain smooth, straight-line pull. The draft is concentrated at a precise point to deliver clear, stable support as soon as you sheet in. Over the rear two thirds, the profile has been deliberately refined to lighten the pressure on the back hand and make the power easy to modulate. The wing therefore remains fluid, settled and progressive, with natural sheeting in and out in gusts as well as through transitions.

Outline
The Neutra RH 2027 keeps the same wingspan and overall chord, but redistributes the surface area towards the centre and front of the wing. This geometry delivers well-directed pull, torque and efficient speed build-up, while maintaining a balanced, maneuverable outline. The wing accelerates easily, maintains power through lulls, and stays natural to reposition in transitions as well as in the waves.
Tips
The tips of the Neutra RH 2027 feature a natural opening that allows them to twist off progressively under load and free up the glide. Their refined shape reduces inertia at the extremities and gives the wing a light, highly mobile feel. The Neutra repositions easily through changes of direction and gains in glide, upwind ability and freefly freedom, with a natural feel in the waves.

Buying guide
For whom?
The Neutra RH 2027 is aimed at independent riders looking for a smooth, light and very maneuverable wing, with a real priority given to surfing and freefly.
It will be particularly suitable for those who want a wing that is pleasant to fly with one hand, easy to reposition in the waves and efficient enough to sail fast, point upwind effectively and take advantage of a wide wind range.
For what ?
The Neutra RH is primarily a waveriding and freefly wing. It naturally complements the foil in turns and remains very discreet when you depower it for surfing.
Its smooth profile and progressive power also make it very enjoyable for freeriding , transitions, and long runs. It retains enough responsiveness to accelerate, get going again in lulls, and throw in some jumps when conditions are right.
Understanding our range of wings:
Plus: the wing for learning, progressing and doing everything easily.
Droid: the compact and dynamic wing for freestyle, jumps, surfing and committed freeriding.
Neutra: the wave and freefly oriented wing, with a very neutral behavior when the wing is stalled.
If you want an easy and versatile wing, choose the Plus. If you're looking for pop, speed, and maneuverability, choose the Droid . If your top priority is surfing and freeflying, the Neutra will be the most specialized.

What size should I choose?
Choose your size primarily based on your weight, wind strength, skill level, and the performance of your foil and board .
A larger size provides more power for early takeoff and getting through lulls . A smaller size offers a light and maneuverable feel when the wind picks up .
For a very surf-oriented practice, a contained size allows you to fully enjoy the mobility and freefly behavior of the Neutra , provided that your foil and your level allow you to take off easily.
Refer to the wind range chart to select the surface area suitable for your size and usual conditions.

Which foil goes with the Neutra?
To take full advantage of its surf and freefly program, the V3 Atmo range offers several very coherent combinations.
The Curve V3 Atmo prioritizes ease of use, carving, and control . It's the natural choice for progressing in the waves and enjoying an intuitive foil that easily enters turns.
The Fluid V3 Atmo is designed for riders seeking more speed, responsiveness, and commitment in turns . It perfectly complements the Neutra's agile nature, allowing for fast surfing and precise linking of turns.
The Veloce Free Fly V3 Atmo pushes the boundaries further towards glide, freefly, and light wind . Its efficiency allows you to maintain speed for longer and lets the foil do more work when the wing is wind-powered.
For a very committed surf program, the Ypra Surf V3 Atmo allows you to go towards more radicality, with versions oriented towards surf-freestyle, powerful carving or speed depending on your style.
Which board with the neutral?
The Mint , available in FSP Pro and Hollow Carbon 2027, is the versatile choice for enjoying the Neutra in freeride, freefly, and waveriding . Its balance of ease of use, glide, and maneuverability makes it an obvious choice for frequent riding and progression in the waves.
The Lemon , also available in Hollow Carbon, leans more towards surfing with a compact and playful shape, while still offering ease and performance in freeride . It's perfect for riders who want a board that's responsive underfoot and easy to carve.
For a program clearly oriented towards waves, the Lethal Hollow Carbon is the benchmark. Its waveriding-specific shape and the very low inertia of the Hollow construction result in an ultra-responsive, precise and free-flowing board in turns , particularly consistent with the freefly behavior of the Neutra.
The Cruzader Point , in FSP Pro or Hollow Carbon, is ideal for those who prioritize glide, takeoff, and freefly . Its mid-length design allows for efficient takeoffs, easy speed maintenance, and the ability to take advantage of light conditions while remaining very fluid in turns.
Soft grips, semi-rigid grips, rigid grips, or boom?
The Neutra RH is developed around rigid handles , which offer a precise connection with the wing and clearly defined hand positions .
However, the GFS system allows you to change the configuration according to your preferences.
Soft textile handles prioritize lightness , comfort and protection, especially in surfing and freefly.
Semi-rigid handles offer a compromise between textile comfort and precise handling .
The rigid handles provide very direct control , with two clearly defined hand positions and a lot of precision in the engaged phases.
The boom provides a continuous grip and allows for instant hand repositioning . This is particularly useful in transitions and maneuvers where you quickly need to find your new grip.
The Neutra RH's batten geometry is similar to that of the boom version in order to maintain a consistent feel when you change configurations .

Which leash?
A wing leash of 5'5 to 8' will be suitable for the majority of practices.
A short leash allows for quick wing recovery after a fall, which is particularly useful in freestyle when making repeated attempts. A longer leash provides more distance between the foil and the wing during a fall.
Check its condition regularly and replace it as soon as it shows signs of wear. The leash is an essential element of your safety.
Do not unnecessarily let your wing flap in the wind at the end of the leash and never try to abruptly hold the wing by the leash in the waves.
Harness or no harness?
The Neutra works perfectly without a harness for surfing and very mobile sessions, where you want to be able to move the wing freely and change position quickly.
For fast freeriding, long tacks or when sailing with a lot of power, the harness allows you to greatly relieve the arms and exploit the power of the wing for a longer time.
All our wings have dedicated attachment points for harness lines. Start with a generous length to make attaching and detaching easier, then gradually reduce the length as you gain experience.
Opt for a lightweight, compact harness and a thin line dedicated to the wing. The goal is to relieve strain on the arms without restricting freedom of movement, especially during transitions and tricks.
Lines 24 to 28 cm long between the batten and the V-shape will be ideal. A length of 30 to 32 cm makes it easier to start. A thin diameter line and a thin sheath are essential because windsurf lines, for example, are too heavy and stiff, and therefore dangerous during tacks and other tricks.
Need a replacement bladder?
Bladders, valves and other components remain available as spare parts to repair and maintain your wing over time.
Refer to the bladder compatibility guide to identify the correct part number based on your wing model, size and year.
Already equipped: why add a neutral?
The Neutra makes a real difference in a quiver as soon as you look to surf more and let the wing fade into the background of your piloting .
Its freefly behavior, light feel and ease in following changes of trajectory allow you to fully concentrate on the foil and the wave .
It complements a versatile Plus wing or a freestyle-oriented Droid wing particularly well. This gives you a wing dedicated to sessions where turns, glide, and freedom of movement are paramount .

5 windows

The NEUTRA RH 2027 incorporates five windows distributed throughout the sail to maintain good environmental awareness without disrupting the wing's behavior.
Their position allows them to better anticipate other practitioners, obstacles and trajectories during starts, transitions or close navigation.
A real plus for learning, progressing and navigating with peace of mind, while keeping a wing light, balanced and easy to pilot.
Integrated harness end attachment system

Two discreet attachment points, directly integrated into the slat, allow for easy installation of a GONG harness end .
Their positioning is optimized to maintain good traction balance and effectively relieve the arms on long tacks .
This allows you to sail for longer periods, with less fatigue, without hindering the handling or piloting of the wing.
Semi-rigid downwind textile handle

Almost rigid, the downwind handle offers a more precise and direct grip to improve wing control in freefly and surfing.
It allows for better one-handed control of the wing while maintaining enough flexibility to remain comfortable during windless sailing phases.
The new oval seams and added reinforcements at the anchor points distribute stress more effectively on the leading edge, in order to improve the overall durability.
The Dyneema leash attachment is now positioned on the underside of the handle. This keeps the leash better away from the grip area and less of an obstruction to the hands during freeflying.
Rapid inflation with the One Pump Max Flow system

The leading edge and center strut are connected by the One Pump system to quickly inflate the entire wing from a single valve . Once the wing is pressurized, the clip allows the two bladders to be isolated to maintain the wing's buoyancy in case of damage to the strut or leading edge.
A second valve is integrated into the ski to speed up deflation. Simply open the valves on the leading edge and the ski to quickly release the air and facilitate folding and storage.
To preserve the wing's structure, always deflate the strut at the same time as the leading edge and do not leave the strut under pressure on its own.
Fiberglass micro-slats

Fiberglass micro-battens are integrated into the trailing edge to effectively limit flapping and maintain the profile to the tip of the sail.
They stabilize the trailing edge, improve profile stability and promote cleaner flow to maintain a precise and efficient wing, even as speed increases.
Lightweight, durable and easily replaceable , they also allow you to easily maintain your wing and extend its performance over time.
Camera safety loops

Discreet nylon safety ties are integrated on each tip and near the strut to secure your camera when mounted on the leading edge or slat with a suitable mount.
Their positioning is designed to keep the leash out of the camera's field of view and prevent any interference while riding. This allows you to film your sessions from multiple angles, maintaining a clean and secure setup, without the risk of losing your camera in case of a fall.
Repair kit
A repair kit is included with your wing to perform common repairs and extend its lifespan.
It includes patches adapted to bladders and fabrics , practical for quick intervention in case of small perforation, cut or tear.
Carrying bag
The wing comes with a practical and robust carrying bag, designed to facilitate storage, transport and storage between sessions.
Its generous size allows for easy storage of the folded wing and its accessories, while its compact design simplifies transport to the spot and minimizes bulk in the vehicle or at home. Please note that the bag is not compatible with a wing that has the boom attached.
10 years of spare parts
At GONG, durability is part of the design specifications from the outset. But making a wing last also means being able to maintain and repair it over time.
That is why we are committed to offering the components necessary for the maintenance of our wings for 10 years : bladders, valves, fabrics and specific parts remain accessible to extend the lifespan of your equipment as much as possible.
If needed, you have two options:
- Our GONG workshop can diagnose your wing and carry out the necessary repairs.
- Spare parts are available to order so you can carry out maintenance yourself or entrust the repair to your usual workshop.
If a product is temporarily unavailable, we will do our best to restock it as soon as possible.
A well-maintained wing remains efficient for longer, retains its value and can continue to sail for many years, including second-hand.

Delivery
Who is the Neutra RH 2027 for?
The Neutra RH 2027 is aimed at independent riders looking for a smooth, light and highly maneuverable wing for wave riding, freefly and fluid freeride. Its handling stays accessible and progressive, but its real potential comes through when you want to let the foil do the work, link up carves and ride with minimal wasted effort.
What is the difference between the Neutra RH 2027 and the Neutra 2026?
The Neutra RH 2027 retains the Neutra’s surf and freefly DNA, with major work on the profile, tips, leading edge and surface distribution. The forward profile is slightly tensioned and the draft is more concentrated to deliver clear, stable support, while the rear two thirds have been refined to free up glide and make sheeting in and out more progressive.
The leading edge diameter has been reduced, and the tips have been opened up and refined to cut inertia and deliver a light, agile feel. The surface area has also been brought further forward to maintain torque and good speed build-up. Lastly, the new handle-specific strut features a triple-section design and a more integrated rear hand position to deliver smooth, precise and predictable handling.
Is it a good wing for beginners?
That’s not its main purpose. To get started in wing foiling and learn the basics easily, the Plus puts more emphasis on ease and simplicity.
The Neutra really comes into its own once you’re comfortable taking off, staying on foil and controlling your direction. It then lets you progress towards surfing, freefly, transitions and smooth, dynamic riding.
Is it suitable for wave riding and freefly?
Yes, that’s exactly what it was designed for.
Its balance, refined leading edge and open tips give the Neutra a light feel when you flag it out. It naturally floats by your side, follows changes in direction and remains easy to control one-handed.
This lets you focus fully on the foil, your carves and reading the wave, then instantly find clear support again when you power back up.
How does it perform in light wind?
The Neutra retains a good power reserve and efficient speed build-up.
The area positioned in the centre and towards the front delivers torque for pumping and helps get the board going. Once flying, its glide makes it easy to maintain speed and get through lulls. Paired with a board that lifts off efficiently and a foil with plenty of glide, it makes for a highly efficient setup in light conditions.
How does it handle when the wind picks up?
The reduced leading edge diameter, open tips and refined rear two-thirds give the Neutra a smooth, easy-to-control feel in the top end. Power is naturally managed through sheeting in and out, and arm pressure stays under control. The wing therefore maintains glide, precision and comfort as speed and gusts increase.
Why is the new RH strut important?
The strut on the Neutra RH 2027 has been specifically designed around the rigid handles.
Its triple-section construction allows the strut to work progressively under load and maintain consistent behaviour as pressure changes. The rear hand position is more integrated into the wing for a natural, comfortable stance. The result: precise, smooth handling that's easy to anticipate, both when surfing and on long reaches.
Can the Neutra RH 2027 be used with a boom?
Yes.
The GFS system lets you replace the handles with a compatible boom. The geometry of the RH strut is close to that of the boom version, so you keep consistent hand positions and handling when switching setups.
This means you can adapt your grip to suit your preferences while keeping the Neutra’s smooth, maneuverable feel.
