Description

The Vissla New Seas U-Zip 6/5mm men's full wetsuit with hood is designed for extended sessions in cold water. Developed with AXXE Classic, its hybrid U-Zip/V-Zip opening opens wide for easy donning and doffing. When closed, it covers the entry from shoulder to shoulder to minimize water entry. The reduced number of layers around the neck and shoulders also frees the upper body while paddling.

The Feather-Foam, made from Japanese limestone, reduces weight while maintaining flexibility and comfort. It incorporates recycled oyster shells and rubber, as well as Eco Carbon Black. The highly stretchy Recycled Ridiculous Rubber jersey is used on the upper torso and arms to move with you. The other panels use Rebound recycled jersey. Their water-based AquaA lamination is solvent-free, and the fabrics are sourced from bluesign®-approved mills. Inside, the Thermal Fever Fiber lining insulates against heat, remains stretchy, and dries quickly.

The anatomical cut, made of 3D panels, minimizes seams to preserve mobility and warmth. The seams are triple-glued and blind-stitched, then reinforced with the internal Neo 3.0 stretch band. Smoothy panels on the hood and back provide a barrier against wind and water. The fitted hood features a Glideskin trim for a better seal against the skin and to limit water entry. Liquid seals at the extremities complete the waterproofing, while the upcycled Supratex knee reinforcements resist abrasion. A secure lanyard allows you to keep a key handy during your session.
