Foil Setup Fluid V3 Atmo Alu 85 - Perf Series
Description
Programme
The high-performance foil for engaged waveriding, perf freeride and practitioners who want more speed, more maneuverability, more restart and a more lively foil under the feet.
Presentation
The Fluid V3 Atmo Perf Series is the front wing that radicalizes versatility. It keeps glide, comfort and a real pumping ability, but with a faster, more direct and more nervous feeling than a Curve.
It is the wing of practitioners who already know how to fly cleanly and want to move to a more committed management: tighter carves, faster trajectories, frank restarts, more dynamic axis changes and better connection with the foil.
Its aspect ratio of 8.4 gives an excellent yield, but its elliptical outline changes everything. The lift is recentered around the supports, the tips are released, the foil becomes more manageable and more reactive. The Fluid does not give a locked feeling: it moves, accelerates, pivots and responds immediately.
Built in Perf Series, the Fluid V3 Atmo makes this high-performance shape more accessible with a solid, tolerant and repairable prepreg fibreglass technology, while maintaining the V3 Atmo precision standard and the self-locking SuperLock connection.
The Fluid V3 Atmo Perf Series is the wing for those who want to accelerate their driving: more speed, more maneuverability, more restart and a foil that responds strongly under the feet.
FRONT WING
But unlike a more typical sliding carve wing, the Fluid uses this ratio with a very playful outline. The result is not a high locked ratio: it is a powerful wing, but handy, able to change axis quickly and remain very alive under the feet.
This ratio also gives strength when the speed increases. The Fluid does not saturate quickly. It accepts to be pushed, accelerates cleanly and keeps a healthy behavior in a wide range of use.
STAB
Its outline centers the lift, then refines to the tips to keep the rail to rail and release the foil. The rider gains in acceleration, precision, vivacity and keeping freedom under the feet.
The slightly recessed tips push back the center of lift of the stab, which improves its lever arm. We can reduce the surface, gain in sliding and keep comfort.
MAST
At 85 cm, it's the core-range mast, perfect for a wide range of activities. In wingfoil, it's the ideal size for progression, followed by exploring freeride, freestyle, lightwind, surf, and freefly. It provides great control, stable performance, and sufficient height to manage chop and steep angles with ease.
Available in two thicknesses:
- 17 mm: perfect for front wings under 100 cm wingspan, providing excellent glide and optimal rigidity.
- 19 mm: provides extra rigidity for larger front wings over 100 cm wingspan, ensuring maximum stability.
The high-quality aluminum construction is particularly stiff and durable. It offers excellent value for money, making this Alu V3 mast a benchmark in the world of foil.
The new profile of the Alu V3 masts, developed by our R&D, offers remarkable glide with performance close to the best carbon masts of equivalent thickness. You will never feel limited by the glide of this profile. It is smooth and perfectly fluid.
The must-have mast for high-level versatility in wing and kite.

Buying guide
For whom?
The Fluid V3 Atmo Perf Series is aimed at practitioners who already fly at a good level and who want a wing that is faster, more maneuverable and more engaging than the Curve.
In wingfoil, it is perfect for those who want a more dynamic foil: more speed, more dynamic trajectories, tighter carves, faster transitions, more committed freeflying and a more direct feeling under the feet.
In surf foil and SUPfoil, it is suitable for practitioners who want to tighten the curves, launch hard, surf with more speed and exploit more dynamic waves. It requires more precision than a Curve, but it gives a much livelier ride.
In wakefoiling, it speaks to practitioners who want to carve hard, vary trajectories, get out of the wake and benefit from a very responsive foil. It gives a lot of freedom in driving.
In kitefoil, the small sizes of Fluid are suitable for practitioners who want a fast, maneuverable and precise wing, with more response than an easier wing.
The Fluid is made for those who like to ride actively. It rewards good support, rhythm, precision and commitment. It remains versatile, but it requires more level and more energy than an Ascent or a Curve.
For what ?
The Fluid V3 Atmo Perf Series is made to speed up riding. It allows you to gain speed, maneuverability, recovery and precision, while maintaining strong versatility.
In wingfoil, it gives more lively navigation. She likes strong carves, changes of trajectories, rapid transitions, more dynamic waves and sessions where you want a foil that responds immediately.
In foil surfing, it allows you to surf faster, tighter and with more relaunch than a Curve. She likes pushing waves, faster sections, challenging curves and riders who want a foil closer to a performance shortboard feeling.
In SUPfoil, it offers livelier and more precise behavior for riders who want to maintain speed in curves and exploit more powerful or cleaner waves.
In wakefoiling, it gives a very playful foil, capable of varying the lines, carving hard and getting out of the wake with an immediate response.
In kitefoil, it provides speed, control and maneuverability in small sizes, for riders who are already comfortable.
The Fluid is therefore the wing for committed waveriding and freeride performance: it does not seek to make the foil passive, on the contrary it makes you want to pilot, accelerate, tighten the curves and exploit each support.
What size?
The Fluid is less low-range oriented than the Curve, but it remains sufficiently tolerant to maintain an accessible takeoff and good lift at low speed. Its performance often allows you to choose a reasonable surface without losing too much comfort.
Choosing a larger size allows you to gain early takeoff, comfort in soft surfaces and ease of pumping. It is the logical choice for heavy riders, weak conditions, weak waves or those who want to keep some margin.
Choosing an intermediate size allows you to exploit the best balance of the Fluid: speed, maneuverability, recovery, glide and versatility. It is often the most consistent choice for a practitioner who wants a high-performance, all-purpose wing.
Choosing a smaller size allows you to gain speed, precision and responsiveness. It is the choice of experienced surfers, more powerful waves, fast conditions or those who want a more responsive foil under their feet.
In wingfoil, all sizes can work depending on weight, wind, board and level. The weaker the wind or the heavier the size, the larger we will go. The higher the level, the more you can reduce the surface area to gain speed and maneuverability.
In surf foiling and SUPfoiling, you need to keep enough surface area to start correctly and relaunch, but avoid oversizing if the objective is to tighten the curves and keep the foil lively. The right size is the one that gives enough lift without blocking the steering.
In wakefoiling, a larger size makes it easier to start and lower speeds. A smaller size frees up trajectories and gives more speed.
In kitefoiling, you have to stay on the small sizes to limit the wingspan, maintain control and avoid a foil that is too buoyant at high speed.
If you are unsure between two sizes, choose the larger one to maintain comfort, low range and margin. Choose the smallest only if the level, conditions and priority objective justify more speed, more precision and more maneuverability.
What stab?
The Fluid V3 Atmo works ideally with a stab which releases its fast and maneuverable character, without making the foil unstable. The right stability must accompany speed, recovery and tight curves.
A larger stab provides more stability, more front foot and more comfort on takeoff. It is the most reassuring choice for a practitioner who is discovering Fluid, for large forehead sizes wing or for irregular conditions.
A smaller stab strongly releases the Fluid. It increases speed, improves maneuverability, makes rail to rail faster and gives a more playful foil. It is often the natural choice when the level rises and we want to fully exploit the wing's potential.
The Fluid works very well with reasonably compact stabs, as its advanced center of lift allows you to maintain balance with less rear surface area. This is one of the important levers for reducing drag and gaining speed.
The correct setting always depends on the front torque wing / stab, but also the position of the foil in the boxes. If the stab is smaller and the front foot support decreases, it will often be necessary to move the foil forward slightly to find a natural balance.
When in doubt, start with a comfortable stab, then gradually reduce to release speed and maneuverability. The Fluid likes fine adjustments: well adjusted, it becomes fast, precise and very lively.
