Presentation

The Curve V3 Atmo Perf Series allows you to enter the mid/high ratio with a healthy, supportive and easy-to-fly foil. It provides more glide, more glide, more average speed and more efficiency, without switching to an overly technical wing.

This is theperfect wing for practitioners who already fly and want to take the next step : surf longer, carve cleaner, pump more efficiently, take better trajectories and enjoy a foil that really glides.

Built in Perf Series, the Curve V3 Atmo makes this mid/high ratio shape more accessible with strong, tolerant and repairable prepreg fiberglass technology, while maintaining the V3 Atmo precision standard and the self-tightening SuperLock connection.

The Curve V3 Atmo Perf Series is the wing to slide more, carve better, pump longer and access the mid/high ratio with confidence.

FRONT WING

The Curve H FG has an aspect ratio of 8.4 which makes it a performance wing without compromising its accessibility. It’s a front wing that carves, accelerates and glides while maintaining incredible low end and pumping capabilities.

The outline of the Curve H FG is curved towards the back to move its center of lift back. In addition to providing stability in carves, this artificially reduces the front to rear span to free the foil in yaw: the foil carves and turns short even at low speed.

On the wave it carves hard without overwhelming the surfer thanks to a high moderate aspect that perfectly blends glide and maneuverability. The behavior is very healthy; it goes from one rail to the other naturally. This moderation gives it a lot of versatility which makes it the perfect foil to access the high aspect shapes.

A more efficient foil shape

One of the key elements in the evolution of this range is the complete redesign of our foils to increase their structural and hydrodynamic qualities.

The V3 fuselage is:

The new round shape allows a 12% gain in glide and the thicker section approaching the stab increases the strength and rigidity of the foil.

Hours of calculations on extremely powerful computers have allowed us to optimize the smallest detail to maximize performance. The fillets of all our connections have been carefully studied and adjusted to minimize hydrodynamic disturbances and increase the rigidity and resistance of the assembly.

SuperLock Self-Locking System

The V3 SuperLock self-locking connection has been engineered to ensure a perfect fit between the front wing and the fuselage, even after countless hours on the water. The greater the load applied to the front wing, the more securely the connection mechanically locks itself into the fuselage.
This design delivers a direct improvement in stiffness, precision, and silent operation. The foil remains perfectly secure, with no unwanted play, even under heavy loads during carving, pumping, acceleration, powerful turns, or hard landings. Rider input is transmitted more efficiently, steering becomes more precise, and the feeling underfoot remains consistent.
The connection requires only two screws beneath the front wing. Assembly is faster, simpler, and more user-friendly for everyday use. Wings can be swapped in just moments without multiplying screws or complicating the setup.
The locking angle has been carefully engineered to combine maximum engagement under load with effortless disassembly after the session. Even after an intense ride, the front wing can be removed from the fuselage easily.
This self-locking concept has already proven itself over several years across our V3 foil platform. It is a genuine mechanical advantage: simple, fast, rigid, reliable, and built to last.

For whom?

The Curve V3 Atmo Perf Series is aimed at practitioners who already fly correctly and who want to access the mid/high ratio with a wing that is still easy, supportive and very healthy.

In wingfoil, it is perfect for those who pass their jibes, start to go in the waves, want to improve their freefly, gain average speed and sail with more glide. It allows you to move from simple flight to real piloting: better trajectory, better pumping, better carves, more efficiency.

In surf foil and SUP foil, it is suitable for beginners to advanced riders looking for more glide without sacrificing low speed grip or maneuverability. It is ideal for working clean curves, going on small waves, following the wave, pumping efficiently and reconnecting on another wave.

It is also suitable for practitioners who want a versatile mid/high ratio wing, not too radical, capable of functioning in many disciplines. The Curve is a great quiver wing for those who want a single front wing slippery, load-bearing and maneuverable.

It can also appeal to experienced practitioners who like to undersize their wing to gain speed and maneuverability, while maintaining enough lift and tolerance to navigate comfortably.

Avoid if...

The Curve is not the most logical choice for a complete beginner. To discover foiling, stabilize your first flights and learn without stress, the X-Over will be more suitable. For simpler, more multi-sport freeride progression, the Ascent will be more accessible.

It is also not the most radical wing for snapping hard, doing aerial freestyle or looking for very nervous piloting. In this regard, the Fluid will be more suitable, especially in carbon for those who really want to push the limits.

If the main objective is long distance pumping, flat start or very efficient downwind, a Sirus or a Veloce will be more relevant depending on the program. The Curve pumps very well, but its main job remains the carving / glide / lift compromise.

The Curve is therefore not an extreme wing. It is an accessible mid/high ratio wing, slippery and carving, designed to progress hard with maximum pleasure and control.

For what?

The Curve V3 Atmo Perf Series is made to carve, glide, pump and surf with ease. It provides a big gain in performance compared to a more freeride wing, while remaining sufficiently supportive and maneuverable to maintain real accessibility.

In wingfoil, it allows you to gain in low range, medium speed and freefly. It crosses softer areas better, carries comfortably in transitions and allows you to take waves with a foil that glides without turning off. It is a very pleasant wing for sailing under cover when the level rises.

In foil surfing, it excels in small rolling waves, wind waves, soft swells and conditions where it is necessary to maintain glide. It allows you to leave early, follow the wave, carve cleanly and pump efficiently to find another wave.

In SUP foil, it provides a lot of comfort during take-off and very efficient glide once in flight. It allows you to take advantage of weak waves, bumps and pushing waves without breaking suddenly.

In dockstart and pumping, it can be very interesting for those who want a versatile wing with good performance. It requires more technique than a Trail, delivers less output than a Sirus, but it offers real pumping pleasure with the possibility of surfing, winging or otherwise sailing with the same wing.

In kitefoil, the small sizes of Curve can offer a supportive, slippery and pleasant foil, with maneuverability and comfortable speed. It will simply be necessary to avoid too large wingspans, which are less suited to the counter-heel and the speed of the kite.

The Curve is therefore the wing for beautiful curves and accessible gliding: it allows you to surf longer, fly cleaner, launch more easily and progress towards a smoother and more efficient foil.

What size?

The Curve has strong lift at low speeds. It is therefore not necessary to choose a huge surface area to benefit from its program. For an equivalent surface area, it offers more glide and more glide than a more freeride wing, which often allows you to reduce the size slightly without losing too much comfort.

Choosing a larger size maximizes early takeoff, lift, low-end comfort, small waves and pumping. It is the logical choice for heavy riders, light winds, small swells, soft waves or those who want a lot of margin.

Choosing an intermediate size allows you to benefit from the best balance of the Curve: lift, glide, maneuverability, carving and pumping. It is often the most consistent choice for a practitioner who wants a versatile mid/high ratio wing.

Choosing a smaller size allows you to gain speed, maneuverability and precision. It is interesting for experienced riders, more powerful waves, faster conditions or those who want a livelier wing under their feet.

In wingfoil, all sizes can work depending on weight, wind, board and level. The weaker the wind or the heavier the size, the larger we will go. The higher the level, the more you can reduce the surface area to gain speed and curve.

In surf foil and SUPfoil, you must keep enough surface area to comfortably start and pump, but avoid oversizing if the objective is to carve hard. The right size is the one that allows you to leave early without blocking the curves.

In kitefoil, you have to stay on the small sizes to limit the wingspan, avoid tips coming out and keep the foil comfortable in counter-heel.

If you are unsure between two sizes, choose the larger one to gain comfort., in low range and in pumping. Choose the smallest only if the level, spot and priority objective justify more speed and maneuverability.

What stab?

The Curve V3 Atmo works ideally with a stab that respects its program: glide, carving, lift and control. The goal is not to restrict your glide while maintaining enough stability to benefit from its accessibility.

A larger stab provides more front foot, more stability and easier takeoff. It is the logical choice for a progressing user, a large size, soft conditions or use oriented towards low beach and easy pumping.

A smaller stab frees up the Curve, increases speed, improves rail to rail and gives a more playful foil. It requires more precision, but allows you to better exploit the mid/high ratio potential of the wing.

The Curve accepts very well being associated with a reasonably compact stab, because its supporting profile and its outline moving back the center of lift already provide a lot of comfort. Reducing the stab can therefore be a good lever to gain gliding and maneuverability when the level progresses.

The correct setting always depends on the front torque wing / stab, but also the position of the foil in the boxes. If the stab is smaller and the front foot support decreases, it will often be necessary to move the foil forward slightly to find a natural balance.

When in doubt, choose a comfortable stab to maintain the ease that is the strength of the Curve. The goal is to take advantage of the mid/high ratio, not to make the wing unnecessarily technical.
