The adaptable hybrid shape to tune your surfing to every session: radical as a thruster, powerful as a quad, smooth and flowing as a 2+1.
Overview
The Vibe answers a simple question: why should you have to choose between the performance of a shortboard and the easy glide of a small-wave board when the waves are average?
Its hybrid shape brings more glide, more speed and more freedom to a high-performance board. You get the responsiveness of a modern shortboard, with the paddling comfort, surface area and efficiency that let you surf hard even when the wave is not perfect.
The Vibe delivers a fast, playful and free-flowing ride. It gets going easily, accelerates quickly and carries speed between sections. You can draw lines, build speed, push your carves or make your surfing more radical without feeling like you are dealing with a board that is too demanding.
The whole balance of the shape comes from three key elements: a forward wide point for paddling comfort, a fuller outline to generate speed, and a swallow tail that brings stability, speed build-up and control under the back foot.
The Vibe does not just settle for being versatile: it genuinely changes character depending on the fin setup. As a thruster, it becomes more precise, more vertical and sharper. As a quad, it gains more drive, projection and power through drawn-out lines.
As a 2+1, it finds a freer, smoother and more rhythmic feel, close to the twin-fin spirit, with the small trailer stabilising the tail to keep control when you really load up your turns.
The Vibe is a board built around feel: paddling, speed, flow and responsiveness. A modern hybrid shape for surfers who want a board that can give it everything in average conditions, without having to choose between fun and performance.
Single Tab connection: simple, direct and solid
The Single Tab system features a single, extended base on each fin. This design creates a solid connection with the fin box, making installation simple, fin changes quick, and power transfer exceptionally direct.
On the water, the benefits are immediate. The board responds instantly, the fins work without unwanted play, and every input translates into drive, grip and control. This is especially valuable on high performance boards, where precise feedback is essential at high speeds and through committed turns.
The Single Tab system also makes it easy to fine tune your setup for different conditions. Changing fin size, template or flex lets you refine the board's feel in just a few moments. It provides a clean, durable and efficient connection, allowing you to unlock the full potential of the shape.
Good to know: Single Tab fin boxes are only compatible with Single Tab fins.
Key benefits:
- Simple installation and quick fin changes.

Buying guide
Who is it for?
For surfers looking for a fast, playful and high-performance board in average conditions, without having to choose between the easy glide of a more accessible board and the responsiveness of a modern shortboard.
For intermediate to advanced surfers who want to catch more waves, paddle in comfort, accelerate easily and keep a lively board under their feet. The Vibe gives you more margin without becoming dull or too tame.
For surfers who like to vary their style. With its thruster, quad and 2+1 setups, it lets you switch from more radical surfing to more powerful lines, or to a smoother, more rhythmic feel.
What for?
For surfing everyday waves with speed, flow and speed build-up. The Vibe is made to get you in early, generate momentum and keep your rhythm between sections, even when the wave is not perfect.
For free yet controlled glide. It lets you draw lines, pump, wrap turns, attack tighter or push bigger carves depending on the setup you choose and the energy of the wave.
To enjoy a truly versatile board: thruster to attack, quad to draw fast lines, 2+1 to recover a twin-like rhythm with more control.
What board size?
The Vibe should be chosen with a just-right volume approach. Its forward wide point, hybrid outline and natural glide already bring plenty of paddling comfort and take-off efficiency. No need to oversize it too much.
If you are coming from a performance shortboard and want more ease in average conditions, you can add a bit of volume to gain paddling power, easier take-offs and more forgiveness, without losing the board's playful character.
If you are after a more nervous feel, choose a size close to your usual comfortable shortboard dimensions. You will keep a board that feels livelier, more responsive and more precise through your foot pressure.
If you are between two sizes, choose the bigger one to maximise paddling, stability and ease in weaker waves. Choose the smaller one to prioritise manoeuvrability, responsiveness and back-foot surfing.

What are the ideal waves?
Size: from small waves to medium-sized waves, depending on your level, your build and the fin setup you choose.
Power: it performs best in soft to average waves, with enough speed build-up and control to stay high-performing when the wave gets faster.
Shape: it is especially at home in everyday conditions: soft sections, imperfect waves, average lines or sessions where you need to create your own speed without being held back by an overly demanding board.
What construction?
The Vibe really comes into its own in a light and responsive construction, fully in line with its hybrid programme. A board like this needs to get going quickly, build speed easily and respond instantly under your feet.
A construction like EPS enhances that lively feel: the board accelerates more easily, keeps spring through your foot pressure and remains a real pleasure in small to medium conditions.
That is exactly what you want from the Vibe: a board that delivers paddling, glide, speed build-up and responsiveness, without weighing down the feel.
What fin setup?
The Vibe comes with a thruster / quad / 2+1 Single Tab setup, making it easy to clearly tune its behaviour.
As a thruster, it becomes more precise, more vertical and sharper. This is the setup to choose for tight turns, quick board repositioning and maximum control through your foot pressure.
As a quad, it gains drive, projection and line speed. This is the ideal setup for drawing powerful lines, keeping momentum through soft sections and committing to longer carves.
In a 2+1 twin + trailer style setup, the two main fins deliver glide, flow and rhythm, while the small trailer stabilises the tail. You get a freer feel, close to the twin spirit, with enough control to push through your turns.
To sum it up simply: thruster for a more radical approach, quad to commit harder, 2+1 for glide with rhythm and control.
Which shape should you choose?
Choose the Vibe if you want a hybrid board capable of combining paddling comfort, natural speed and responsiveness. It is made for surfers who want to surf often, keep the fun alive in average conditions and adapt their style without changing boards.
Its forward wide point helps with paddling and early take-off. Its more generous outline brings glide. Its wingers free up the tail. Its swallow adds speed build-up and precision. Its concave / double concave / V bottom combines speed, control and rail-to-rail transitions.
The Vibe is therefore the right choice for those who want a lively, free and high-performance board, capable of going from fluid surfing to a more radical approach depending on the fins, the waves and the mood of the day.
