Presentation

The Kluber V2 HDCC is the “core range” version in the noble sense: the one that everyone agrees on when you want a simple, ultra-efficient dockstart board, and one that is modern enough in its shape to keep up with the evolution of the sport.

Measurements, rocker, outline, rails, rigidity, solidity, weight: everything is calibrated so that the board disappears and all your energy goes into the foil, without latency, without approximations.

The foundation remains the Kluber DNA: a perfectly flat tail rocker and a minimalist nose rocker . This is what makes the board both comfortable and incredibly high-performing , regardless of skill level. This very low rocker provides a "natural" glide in case of a touchdown : instead of a sudden, sharp braking that breaks everything, the board glides , maintains speed, and gives you the chance to pop back up cleanly and then accelerate again .

Where the V2 truly progresses is in its shape . The width has been increased under the toes of the back foot. This detail has an immediate effect: the foot placement becomes more natural , more stable, more intuitive. You're no longer struggling to adapt to the board; you simply place your feet, and it's just right. Similarly, the offset has been optimized: this makes the board more intuitive and, above all, more enjoyable when you start to lean into turns, explore new lines, and really put weight on your back foot.

The rails were designed with a very clear logic: forgiveness in the front, performance in the back. The entire front half is softened so that touchdowns are progressive, without harsh braking or sudden release. And the tail retains very sharp rails: this is what preserves the glide, the clean starts, and that "instant" feel when you put the pressure on. The result: a more forgiving, more comfortable feel. The front remains soft, the back remains high-performing; exactly what you want on a modern dockstart board.

The outline is stripped of all unnecessary elements, retaining only the essentials for optimal flight. Every curve enhances the glide: no excess, no unnecessary width, no length "for show." The result is a compact, efficient, and cohesive board, and you feel it immediately: less inertia, more precision, more control. Furthermore, the new graphics aren't just cosmetic; they embody a distinct personality, instantly recognizable with a refined and undeniably appealing look that avoids clichés.

The reduced thickness contributes to a more direct feel. Being closer to the foil means improved feedback, finer control, and cleaner pumping. You feel what you're doing better, correct more quickly, and tire less because you're pumping precisely. And this finesse is controlled: there's just enough thickness to maintain buoyancy and integrate US SCS boxes without compromising the rigidity of the most stressed area.

These SCS boxes are obviously up to the task: dual entry, full carbon , and above all, an integrated construction that contributes to overall rigidity. The foil/board connection is solid, stable, and durable, and this translates into pure performance: you apply pressure, it responds instantly. And as with the entire new range, the adjustment range is wide: more fine adjustments, more mounting options, more freedom to optimize your setup.

The technical heart of the V2 is its HDCC (High Density Core & Carbon) construction. This manufacturing process is inspired by front wings: full prepreg carbon lamination, three H-shaped carbon stringers to lock in rigidity, a full carbon box, all pressed in a steel mold and cured at 155°C . The steel mold guarantees a stable and repeatable geometry, a board that doesn't "move," and rigidity that remains consistent over time. This ultra-rigid construction maximizes energy transmission: no unwanted flex, no loss, everything goes directly to the foil.

In terms of durability, the high-density foam is hydrophobic: zero stress in case of a serious impact. And the rails are reinforced to withstand the realities of dockstarting: handling, contact, and repetition. This is a board you use, take out, and live with; not a fragile object.

Underfoot, you'll find the Ridge Traction Pad 3mm : thin, incredibly effective, comfortable, and above all, with no loss of board feel. It maintains clean, consistent, and precise feedback. You know exactly where you're applying pressure, and the board responds instantly.

OUTLINE

A board with minimalist dimensions for maximum responsiveness underfoot and zero inertia when pumping. The width is increased under the toes at the rear to accommodate individual stances and optimize control of large front wings, especially in turns.

THICKNESS

With a maximum thickness of 3 cm, your connection to your foil is perfect while maintaining the simplicity of US SCS boxes. Your pumping is direct with unprecedented rigidity at this weight. You can be sure that your efforts are being used to their full potential.

ROCKER

With a very tight rocker, pumping is more efficient and provides a perfect stance to facilitate and optimize each pump, with the front foot flat on the deck. It also allows the full length of the Kluber to be used depending on the rider's size and stance.

BEVELED RAILS

The very smooth rails across the entire front half promote progressive and controlled touchdowns, without any sudden loss of speed. The sharp tail retains more tension to maintain precision when leaning into a turn, allowing for excellent rebound after contact. A balance between forgiveness and efficiency, perfectly suited to its fun-oriented design.

HDCC Technology

These boards have the high-performance HDCC (High Density Core & Carbon) technology. The manufacturing process is akin to that of a foil wing. The board is manufactured from aerospace-grade prepreg carbon fiber and a high-density foam core with mechanical properties that ensure structural cohesion and hydrophobicity in case of damage.

In a nutshell, it’s strong, stiff, and very lightweight

Industry-standard prepreg carbon fibers are positioned on the high-density foam core. Carbon H-stringers and full prepreg boxes are also placed before compression in a steel mold heated to 155°C to polymerize the resin. Mold pressure combined with high temperature ensures perfect layer cohesion to guarantee exemplary performance and durability.

Subsequently, the board is extracted from the mold. Board logos are applied. A thin layer of matte varnish is then applied to protect the board. The pad is glued, and the board is ready to ride!

This technology involves no sanding, hence no production waste. There's no sanding of the shape as it's molded, no sanding of the laminations which are pressed and fused, and no sanding of the hot coats which are integrated directly into the molding process. It's extremely costly to implement but the result is impeccably clean.

All our prototyping phases are tested on our own test benches. HDCC boards easily pass resistance tests with loads exceeding several hundred kilograms on the front foot.

The lower price compared to this exceptional technology is due to the efficiency of construction. Less human labor (about a quarter) equals lower expenses. Simply, with this board, you're primarily investing in well-assembled premium materials.

What size?

When pumping, board size isn't determined by your weight but rather by your skill level. A 95cm board will be easier for a beginner, while an intermediate to expert rider will perform better with an 80cm board.

Indeed, greater length helps compensate for any inconsistencies in foot placement. And shorter length offers weight savings and therefore improved performance. It's all about compromise and choice, as always.

What is the ideal foil?

Klubers are ideal with all giant wings from the Trail, Ultra Trail, Sirus, Curve and Fluid,ranges, combined with HM 70 and 77 masts, for easy and prolonged pumping.

They are also suitable for all V3 wings (with HM 70 and HM 77 masts), depending on your level, for even faster pumping.

2x GONG US Box Double Entry for standard foils with 4 screws plate. System compatible with US Box square nuts and SCS system with 9 cm spacing for ultra-fast mounting of GONG foils. The square nuts or SCS system are not included with the board.
The Kluber HDCC is equipped with our new high-end Ridge Traction Pad. With its perfect grip and 3mm thickness, the Ridge Traction Pad provides absolute comfort and grip. Your stance is completely stable, and your control is precise to the finest degree.

The Kluber features our dual-entry US box system, designed to fit the SCS used on all our latest foil boards. This system makes foil installation so simple, you'll save time on the water.

With the SCS nuts connected by the composite rods, your nuts are perfectly aligned without having to touch them. You place them on the 4 entries, you fit them in, you move the foil back to the chosen position and with two turns of the keys per screw the foil is mounted. The GONG double entry box makes it easier to assemble and adjust the foil! Performance without the hassle. When dismantling, just leave the nuts and the screws on the top plate, – loosen the screws, remove the foil and off you go! It is the plug and play solution which facilitates adjustments (SCS nuts not supplied with the board).
