Lowkite Carbon Light Bar - Black
Program
The fully loaded lowkite bar: ultra-stylish and insanely efficient.
Designed to maximize comfort and feel throughout your session, it pushes performance even further: ultra-lightweight, stiffer than ever, featuring the SRS rail system for perfect harness-line positioning, and easy storage thanks to its tapered shape that slips away effortlessly without taking up space. Beautiful by design, but above all engineered for pure functionality.
Presentation
Built from high-end prepreg carbon fiber with a hollowed rear section, it delivers maximum stiffness for razor-sharp control while remaining ultra-light, even when packed in your downwind bag.
The SRS rail, a 100% GONG innovation developed by a fearless design team, redefines simplicity and efficiency: attach your SRS harness line in seconds, fine-tune the perfect position, then lock it securely using our custom-designed clamp and screw system gripping the US track insert. Slide, tighten, ride. No unwanted movement, just perfect stiffness for seamless hooking and unhooking in one motion.
The new 2026 grip, directly inspired by our wing booms, pushes comfort and control even further. Its ergonomic finger grooves ensure a secure hold and reduce hand fatigue, while the full-length grip protects both your board and your hands during maneuvers, on land and on the water.
Choose your preferred length depending on your riding style: short for compact storage and a more reactive lowkite feel, or longer for maximum leverage and maneuverability, at the expense of slightly more bulk during downwind runs.
Easy maintenance and spare parts always available: every component can be shipped within 72 hours.
The new neoprene sleeve system protects your hands from Dyneema line friction: simple, efficient, and incredibly comfortable for endless sessions. A discreet innovation that makes all the difference, whether on a downwinder or surfing.
Hollow bar
The hollow carbon behind the bar is not only attractive but also super efficient: lighter, easier to store, and with an exceptional feel in hand.
SRS rail
The SRS rail, a 100% GONG innovation designed by a bold design team, shakes up the codes with its brilliant simplicity: attach your SRS harness line in a few seconds, adjust the perfect position, and lock it thanks to our custom part and its screw that securely jams the US box. Slide, tighten, sail. No more slipping, just ideal rigidity to hook in and unhook in one swift motion.
High-quality molded EVA grip for maximum comfort
The EVA grip, with its 22 mm oval profile and design identical to our wing booms, offers an excellent compromise between lightness, comfort, and precision. The bar naturally fits in your hands, allowing for long sessions with maximum ease and control.
Buying guide
Compatibility
All our lowkite bars are compatible with our GONG lowkites. They are also compatible with parawings from other brands, provided the correct intermediate connection pigtails are used.
The compatibility chart helps you choose the size that best suits your lowkite size. The recommendation indicates the best compromise between maneuverability and bulk.
Key points to remember if you wish to make a different choice:
- Short bar = reduced footprint and easy storage but less maneuverability
- Long bar = more maneuverability and more bulk

Harness or no harness?
Riding without a harness is sexy because you feel free. You can move in all directions, it's really enjoyable.
However, you need to use less sail area and make short tacks to avoid straining your arms. This also means having to pump the sail frequently to relaunch.
All our lowkites are compatible with harness lines. You therefore have the option of using a harness or not.
So, if you prefer riding with a kite, using a harness is practically mandatory if you don't want to limit your sessions to an hour. In this case, setting up harness lines is super simple. We recommend using the least rigid and least restrictive harness possible, with either a minimalist hook or a windsurf-style hook for comfort.
Lines of 24 to 28 cm will be perfect. A length of 30 to 32 cm makes it easier to start. A thin diameter line and a thin sheath are essential because windsurf lines, for example, are too heavy and stiff, and therefore dangerous during tacks and other tricks.
So it's up to you to decide if feel and aesthetics take precedence over performance. But more and more riders are using harnesses.
The harness adds comfort and performance and is essential to fully enjoy your sessions, especially when you need to sail strongly upwind during upwind/downwind conditions.
In addition to this, these 2 bars equipped with the SRS rail are compatible with harness lines designed specifically for this bar: SRS (Smart Rail System) Harness lines .
