Function
The Catch kiteboard is a shape totally dedicated to tricks & strapless surfing.
Introduction
The Catch is THE noseless board in the range to tear it up in freestyle with a kite surfboard. On flat water, it’s a very responsive board, ideal for freestyle and transitioning between tricks. It’s her favorite playground. In the air, it sticks to your feet. With its large surface area and lightweight, you place it in the wind right from takeoff, and it sticks to your stance. It’s perfect for working on tricks. And this large surface area allows you to land without hesitation, even if it’s messy, because the board will accept approximate foot placements without fuss. In surf, it’s a relatively taut board. This means it has record acceleration and impulse, but its rocker will limit it in hollow waves. You can surf with power and energy with an aerial style. The addition of channels boosts your board:
- Control of your trajectories and directional stability is more significant, allowing for more serene support to push your limits in turns and full-speed choppy water.
- They slightly tighten the rocker in selected sections. The flow is optimized, and the board’s character is upgraded.
- By channeling the water, they significantly accelerate the flows and thus your speed.
- True shock absorbers, they diffuse the impact of choppy water, and landings are softer.
- Finally, they provide more natural rigidity to the composite and more resistance to breakage.
It’s the ultimate freestyle board!
Outline
The shape of the Catch is almost rectangular to maximize support in the wind and optimize landings.
Nose
The nose is almost square for maximum buoyancy on water and in the air.

Tail
The wide squash tail coupled with the deep concave hull offers monstrous pop.

Rocker
The rocker is taut for a very stable board that planes early.
Volume
The volume is minimal with very thin tips for control and unprecedented performance on flat water and in small waves.

Diamond Traction Pad
With its new modular design, the Diamond Traction Pad evolves to deliver even greater versatility, comfort, and precision. Still featuring exceptional grip and a 5 mm thickness, it ensures maximum traction and secure footing for total control in all conditions.
The connection to the board remains direct and precise, promoting responsive handling while maintaining enough cushioning to absorb impacts and preserve comfort during long sessions.
The Diamond Traction Pad now consists of two main elements: a front pad and a tail pad, available in multiple sizes and shapes depending on the board. This base configuration optimizes weight while retaining essential comfort and control.
The central “boomerang” section, made of two pieces, can be added as an option to maximize grip surface, reinforce support, and achieve full foot hold. This allows you to fine-tune your setup based on your riding style and priorities: lightweight feel or maximum grip.
FSP 2X Technology = Strength, Lightness, and Durability
The FSP 2X kitesurf boards range features a high-end construction with a full 3 mm thick PVC sandwich (80 kg/m³), combined with biaxial fiberglass reinforcements. This process ensures an exceptional balance between stiffness, durability, and lightness. Completely waterproof, the shell effectively protects the EPS foam core, preventing any water-related damage, even in the event of impact.
Thanks to the FSP 2X technology, you not only benefit from an unmatched strength-to-weight ratio at an affordable price but also from simplified repairability. In case of impact, repairs can rely on a solid base and blend perfectly with the surrounding material. The PVC foam prevents infiltration, thus ensuring the longevity of your board.
Result: a construction designed to last, perform, and remain reliable over time.
Single Tab Fin Boxes = Enhanced Performance
Our kitesurf boards now come equipped with Single Tab fin boxes, a proven standard known for its reliability and performance. This upgrade delivers better power transfer, increased stiffness between the fin and the board, and excellent long-term durability, even under heavy use.
More robust and highly valued for their precision on the water, Single Tab fin boxes also ensure quick and secure installation. This evolution reflects our ongoing commitment to improving durability, board feel, and overall product quality.
Technologie FSP 2X Kitesurf

Buying guide
For whom ?
The Catch kiteboard is accessible for a lightweight beginner due to its ability to plane early and head upwind.
But it will reveal its full potential under the feet of a confirmed and energetic rider.
What is it for ?
Freestyle is the preferred program for this responsive and aerial board.
But it also loves small waves with a drive full of snaps and airs.
What size ?

Ideal conditions ?
Ideal wave size: from almost nothing to shoulder high.
Power: it performs best in soft to normal waves.
Aspect: it goes everywhere, even in choppy water and wind.
What’s the ideal kite ?
The Catch kiteboard will work wonders with a wave kite that maximizes your surfing performance, but also with a Unik in light winds, for example.
Quiver partners ?
You can complement the low range with a Kite foil board when the wind is really light.
When the wind is stronger, a Fatal or an Alu will allow you more radical riding.
Which settings ?
The Catch Kite is equipped with a triple fin setup featuring Single Tab fin boxes. You’re free to install the fin set of your choice. All Single Tab fin models are available on our website.
Strapped or strapless ?
Riding strapless is sexy because it feels free. You’ll find the sensations of surfing and have mobility on the board to play in the waves. It’s a very pure style of riding but difficult to master.
With straps, you’re sure your board will stay attached to your feet, even in the most committed aerial maneuvers. You’ll have much more control and performance one step above.
So it’s up to you if sensation prevails over performance. Place your straps in the central position (3rd hole) for the front strap, and the same for the back strap if you always ride with straps.
If you want to be able to take out the back foot for transitions and surfing, place the rear strap in the first hole from the back.
