Présentation

The Ypra Slalom V3 Atmo Pro Team Series is the carbon front wing for slalom, freerace, and very fast reaches in wing, lowkite, and kite foiling. Its role is to offer a very high level of max speed on crosswind and downwind courses, with immediate speed build-up, and enough maneuverability and tolerance to remain usable on a very technical course during transitions.

It belongs to the Ypra Racing family, but its program is different from the Ypra Race Micro V3. The Race aims for absolute performance on all angles, especially upwind. The Slalom remains simpler, more maneuverable, more versatile, and compatible with the standard V3 architecture.

Its natural terrain is reaching, downwind reaches, accelerations, committed jibes, and slalom courses. It enters maneuvers strongly, maintains control, exits quickly, and turns each acceleration into immediate max speed.

Its 8.9 ratio offers the right balance between speed, maneuverability, control, and relaunch. The wing maintains high speed without becoming too locked in during jibes.

Its slalom profile is optimized for a wide flight range: relatively early takeoff, high-end holding, resistance to ventilation, and stable behavior in chop or rough waters.

The minimal drag over a wide speed range provides sharp acceleration and easy-to-find speed. The wing performs in crosswind, in downwind reaches, and short upwind phases on courses.

The high anhedral provides great control on fast reaches and in jibes. It offers leeway when the foil heels, when the water becomes choppy, or when the tips approach the surface.

The Ypra Slalom V3 Atmo Pro Team Series is therefore the Pro Team carbon front wing for going very fast with control: slalom, freerace, full-speed reaches, committed jibes, and very high-level performance without shifting into the radicality of a Race Micro V3 setup.

The Ypra Slalom adopts a ratio of 8.9 to offer the right balance between speed, manoeuvrability, control, acceleration, and stability in slalom courses.

This relatively high aspect ratio reduces drag, allows for maintaining high speed, and provides excellent performance on the reach without making the wing too locked in during jibes.

We maintain a fast front wing that is still manoeuvrable, capable of entering carves aggressively, maintaining control, and exiting quickly.

The fast and manoeuvrable outline allows you to enter carves aggressively, maintain control, and smoothly accelerate out of the manoeuvre.

The Ypra Slalom is designed for courses where you need to accelerate, jibe, bear away, build-up speed, and maintain a clean trajectory in choppy conditions.

It offers a very high level of speed without the demands of a Ypra Race Micro V3, which is more suited for long reaches.

Wide flight range profile

The slalom profile is optimised for a wide flight range, with a relatively early take-off, excellent high-end control, and stable behaviour at high speed.

This flight range allows the wing to be used in varied conditions, without having to sail only within an ultra-narrow window.

You maintain a high-performance yet readable foil, capable of staying clean when the speed increases and the water becomes technical.

Low-drag profile

The profile is designed to reduce drag over a wide range of speeds. The wing accelerates sharply, responds immediately to pressure, and allows you to gain speed without forcing the foil.

It performs well across, in downwind reaches, during accelerations and short upwind phases on courses. It's not a straight-line wing: it's a complete slalom wing.

The Ypra Slalom maintains its top speed in all important course situations: exiting jibes, powerful reaches, downwind, accelerations, and fast reaches.

High anhedral

The high anhedral provides great control on fast reaches. It maintains stability when the foil heels over, when the water surface becomes choppy, or when the tips approach the surface.

This geometry also helps in fast jibes: the wing enters the carving turn strongly, remains stable underfoot, and inspires confidence in committed transitions.

The foil remains predictable at high speed, allowing you to focus on the trajectory, the timing of the jibe, and the acceleration.

SuperLock Self-Locking System

The V3 SuperLock self-locking connection has been engineered to ensure a perfect fit between the front wing and the fuselage, even after countless hours on the water. The greater the load applied to the front wing, the more securely the connection mechanically locks itself into the fuselage.

This design delivers a direct improvement in stiffness, precision, and silent operation. The foil remains perfectly secure, with no unwanted play, even under heavy loads during carving, pumping, acceleration, powerful turns, or hard landings. Rider input is transmitted more efficiently, steering becomes more precise, and the feeling underfoot remains consistent.

The connection requires only two screws beneath the front wing. Assembly is faster, simpler, and more user-friendly for everyday use. Wings can be swapped in just moments without multiplying screws or complicating the setup.

The locking angle has been carefully engineered to combine maximum engagement under load with effortless disassembly after the session. Even after an intense ride, the front wing can be removed from the fuselage easily.

This self-locking concept has already proven itself over several years across our V3 foil platform. It is a genuine mechanical advantage: simple, fast, rigid, reliable, and built to last.

Pro Team Series High-Modulus Carbon

The V3 Atmo Team Series front wings feature a premium carbon construction with a 3K Texalium Purple Clear carbon finish that showcases the wing's structure. Compared to fiberglass construction, this technology delivers greater stiffness, faster response, and higher precision, while maintaining outstanding durability.


The TORAY M40J high-modulus carbon fiber used in our layups offers exceptional mechanical properties, particularly in terms of Young's modulus and tensile strength. Combined with intermediate-modulus fibers and carefully engineered layup schedules, it reinforces the structure exactly where the wing needs it most: bending, torsion, connection points, carving loads, pumping, acceleration, and repeated high-load stress.


This increased stiffness has a direct impact on the ride. Inputs are transmitted more immediately, the foil responds with greater precision, and less energy is lost through structural flex. Every pump becomes more efficient. Every carve feels more connected. At high speeds, the foil remains more stable, delivering a cleaner, more controlled feel.


The Team Series is much more than a premium carbon finish. It's a construction specifically engineered to unlock the full potential of the V3 Atmo shapes, with thinner profiles, more refined trailing edges, rigid connections, optimized layups, and a more direct feel underfoot.


The result is a foil that is more responsive, more precise, and more efficient, while remaining perfectly true to the purpose of each model. The V3 Atmo range marks a major leap forward in the design, manufacturing, and finishing of our foils. Reaching this new level of performance required far more than evolving the shapes. We rethought the entire process, from R&D to the finished product.


Every V3 Atmo shape is designed in 3D, digitally optimized, thoroughly tested by the GONG Team, and manufactured with an unprecedented level of precision. Optimized extraction of solvents and dust creates better working conditions while ensuring cleaner parts throughout every stage of production.


Tighter control over every step, from material handling, layup, machining, and molding to cooling and finishing, delivers an unprecedented level of accuracy, particularly on the trailing edges. For whom?

The Ypra Slalom V3 Atmo Pro Team Series is designed for advanced to expert riders who want to go very fast in wing foiling, lowkite, or kite foiling, with a front wing that is stable, predictable, and high-performing.

It is made for those who want to push hard across the wind, accelerate on downwind reaches, jibe quickly, relaunch immediately, and maintain true control in choppy conditions.

It appeals to slalom competitors, freerace riders, and those who want to go full speed in freeride without opting for the demands of a Ypra Race Micro V3.

To avoid if…

The Ypra Slalom is not a laid-back freeride wing. It remains a very fast Pro Team wing, designed for charging and maintaining real speeds.

It is not the best choice if your main goal is absolute efficiency on long reaches or pure upwind performance. For this program, the Ypra Race Micro V3 will be more suitable.

It is not made for surfing, relaxed freefly, or long glides on swells. Its program is slalom, freerace, and fast runs with rigging.

For what?

The Ypra Slalom is made for slalom: accelerating, Vmax, jibing, Vmax, and staying controllable until the next transition.

In freerace, it allows you to go very fast with a more accessible and versatile wing than a Race Micro V3 setup. It maintains maneuverability and true tolerance in choppy conditions.

In full-speed freeride, it provides a stable foil for pushing hard, bearing away, charging well-powered, and keeping a clean trajectory.

In wing foiling, lowkite, or kite foiling, it targets riders who want speed, control, and immediate relaunches without diving into the radicality of a pure race program.

What size?

The choice of size depends on the support, level, wind, water conditions, and desired speed.

Choosing a larger size provides more lift, more margin for takeoff, more comfort in irregular conditions, and easier relaunch after jibes.

Choosing an intermediate size offers the best balance between speed, control and maneuverability. It is often the most coherent choice to exploit the slalom program in varied conditions.

Choosing a smaller size unleashes speed, reduces drag, and increases control in strong winds or very fast runs. It requires more skill and higher starting speed but allows maintaining a much higher pace.

If in doubt, choose larger for more margin and versatility. Choose smaller if your skill level, support, and conditions allow for very fast controlled riding.

The front wing comes with all the necessary screws for mounting on the fuselage.

  • Stainless steel screws suitable for the foil's stresses and marine use.
