Based between Cabarete in the Dominican Republic and Antigua and Barbuda, Alex has spent over 20 years competing across multiple watersports disciplines, evolving from freestyle to foil racing and now focusing on big air hydrofoil. His long competitive background has shaped a deep understanding of progression and performance in the sport.

He was inspired to join the GONG team by the brand’s vision of making high-quality gear accessible to everyone, aligning with his belief in open progression within watersports. Alex’s strength lies in his constant drive to innovate and push the limits of his discipline, always searching for new ways to progress and evolve his riding. Most proud of being a three-time vice world champion in big air hydrofoil, he is excited about the continued growth of the sport and aims to contribute further by developing a kite center in his hometown.
