Even more glide, the same outstanding versatility

The HIPE Diamond 2026 retains everything that made it a success: effortless glide, easy take-offs, and remarkable versatility across light wind, freeride, freesurf, and lowkite disciplines.

Its balance remains unique. A narrow outline through the center section promotes speed and acceleration, while fuller tips provide stability and comfort. The result is a board that gets up early, carries speed naturally, and remains easy to ride in a wide range of conditions.

For 2026, the shape has been refined with approximately 5 liters less volume at equivalent sizes. This evolution reduces drag, improves glide efficiency, and further enhances lowkite performance. The stretched rocker line extending all the way to the nose contributes to this efficiency while maintaining the comfort needed to handle choppy conditions.

Positioned between a Cruzader and a compact board, the Diamond delivers an exceptionally effective compromise: more versatile than a pure mid-length, yet faster and more efficient than a traditional compact shape.

Comfort also takes another step forward with strap inserts now fully flush with the deck pad, creating a perfectly smooth surface and delivering a riding sensation closer than ever to that of a rigid board. Three rear strap positions allow riders to fine-tune their stance according to their level and preferred discipline.

Like every HIPE, the Diamond benefits from GONG's hybrid construction, combining a rigid composite base, dropstitch technology, and the ICS plate system. The result is benchmark stiffness, optimized weight, and exceptional durability.
