Presentation

This concept of this shape has become a reference in our range for its versatility.

The Fatal has a very similar program to the Catch. Very oriented towards freestyle and strapless riding, the new Fatal is fast, full of pop, and super maneuverable. Unlike the Catch, the Fatal is more surf-oriented with a pinched tail that loves tight carves.

This new shape is faster and especially more stable at high speeds. This is felt in the ride: you can commit more strongly to moves and its tighter outline offers surprising maneuverability in all types of waves.

It’s the ideal complement to the Catch in waves, while retaining the generous surface that allows for all freestyle landings.

The addition of channels boosts your board:

Control over your trajectories and directional stability is increased, allowing for more serene support to push your limits in turns as well as in full-speed choppy conditions.
They slightly tighten the rocker in chosen sections. Flow is optimized, and the board’s character is upgraded.
By channeling the water, they significantly accelerate the flow and thus your speed.
Real shock absorbers, they diffuse the impact of chop, and receptions are softer.
Finally, they bring more natural rigidity to the composite and more resistance to breakage.

It’s the 50/50 board for freestyle and surfing!

OUTLINE

Its outline is generous with a carrying nose and a tail perfectly refined by a pair of wingers that are very effective. You can enter carves at full throttle: it will hold and accentuate the turn as you press into it.

ROCKER

The Fatal has a pronounced rocker to perform in waves. It carves like the best surfboards.

Hull

Hull work is important to combine strong grip when sailing and maneuverability.

The wide channels provide better directional control. They channel water and accelerate flow to provide higher speed in waves and navigation. They also offer more smoothness in water contact despite gaining rigidity and solidity in the board’s structure. You’re more radical, fluid, comfortable, and totally in control.

Diamond Traction Pad

With its new modular design, the Diamond Traction Pad evolves to deliver even greater versatility, comfort, and precision. Still featuring exceptional grip and a 5 mm thickness, it ensures maximum traction and secure footing for total control in all conditions.

The connection to the board remains direct and precise, promoting responsive handling while maintaining enough cushioning to absorb impacts and preserve comfort during long sessions.

The Diamond Traction Pad now consists of two main elements: a front pad and a tail pad, available in multiple sizes and shapes depending on the board. This base configuration optimizes weight while retaining essential comfort and control.

The central “boomerang” section, made of two pieces, can be added as an option to maximize grip surface, reinforce support, and achieve full foot hold. This allows you to fine-tune your setup based on your riding style and priorities: lightweight feel or maximum grip.

FSP 2X Technology = Strength, Lightness, and Durability

The FSP 2X kitesurf boards range features a high-end construction with a full 3 mm thick PVC sandwich (80 kg/m³), combined with biaxial fiberglass reinforcements. This process ensures an exceptional balance between stiffness, durability, and lightness. Completely waterproof, the shell effectively protects the EPS foam core, preventing any water-related damage, even in the event of impact.

Thanks to the FSP 2X technology, you not only benefit from an unmatched strength-to-weight ratio at an affordable price but also from simplified repairability. In case of impact, repairs can rely on a solid base and blend perfectly with the surrounding material. The PVC foam prevents infiltration, thus ensuring the longevity of your board.

For whom ?

The Fatal kiteboard will delight the most energetic riders who want a high-performance and versatile board.

More aimed at pros than beginners, the Fatal is a large surface board, it is accessible, but a pro will get the best out of it.

What is it for ?

Tricks, surfing, the Fatal kiteboard can do it all as long as there is enough wind to send it.

What size ?

Ideal conditions ?

Ideal wave size: from almost nothing to shoulder high.

Power: it performs best in soft to normal waves.

Aspect: it goes everywhere, even in choppy and windy conditions.

What’s the ideal kite ?

The Fatal kiteboard will work wonders with a wave kite that maximizes your surfing performance, but also with a Unik in light wind, for example.

Quiver partners ?

You can complement the low end with a Catch Foil when the wind is really light.

When the wind is stronger and the waves more substantial, a Lethal will allow for more radical navigation. But in light wind, a Matata will be a real compliment for freeriding or surfing in soft waves.

Which settings ?

The Fatal Kite is equipped with a triple fin setup featuring Single Tab fin boxes. You’re free to install the fin set of your choice. All Single Tab fin models are available on our website.

Strapped or strapless ?

Riding strapless is sexy because you feel free. You get the sensations of surfing and have mobility on the board to play in the waves. It’s a very pure riding style but difficult to master.

With straps, you’re sure your board will stay attached to your feet, even in the most committed aerial maneuvers. You’ll have much more control and performance a notch above.

So it’s up to you whether the sensation prevails over performance. Place your straps in the central position (3rd hole) for the front strap, and the same for the rear strap if you always ride in straps.

If you want to be able to release the rear foot for transitions and surfing, place the rear strap in the first hole from the back.

Equipments

The Fatal Kite FSP 2X are equipped with high-end pads that provide maximum grip.

These boards are fitted with three Single Tab boxes to allow for increased connection between your board and your favorite fins.

The Fatal FSP 2X features 5 strap inserts, allowing you to ride strapless or strapped in with maximum stability. These multiple strap inserts offer adjustments for riders of all skill levels, from beginner to pro.

You can also use your board for surfing; a leash plug will ensure you never lose it. Everything you need is there.
