The Fluid V3 Atmo Perf Series stab excels everywhere you push it.

Ultra manoeuvrable, forgiving at low speed and while pumping, yet fast at top speed, it’s an ultra-complete stab that delivers top-level versatility.

It keeps the shape and construction that made the Fluid H FG V3 such a success, now with a brand-new Atmo look. A sleek, racy full black design that reinforces its premium character and instantly marks it as part of the range.

Its small surface area offers greater freedom of movement on every axis, boosting your level. Perfect in manoeuvres, it’s the ideal stab for surfing fast and radical. Even in a straight line, this manoeuvrable stab will perform better because you’ll place your foil with precision and responsiveness through the chop.

With high glide and very secure glide, you can fly high over the bumps, in surf, and in a straight line, really high! It’s so predictable that breaching is no longer an issue. And because it’s small, it glides like nothing else.

When pumping, this stab generates plenty of cadence and therefore speed, making it dynamic for dock starts, linking waves at full speed, or easily regaining speed through the sections.

Built in multiaxial prepreg fibreglass, the Fluid V3 Atmo Perf Series is robust, light and durable all at once. Its high-end construction guarantees consistent performance and great reliability, session after session.

Thanks to our technical innovations such as the round fuselage and the self-tightening interlocking system, rigidity is optimal and responsiveness enhanced, for leading performance and a flawless ride.

Here in its Fibre Glass version, you get all the qualities of this performance shape in an affordable construction.

Stable outline

The Fluid stab has an aspect ratio of 8.3, offering an excellent balance of lift, glide and manoeuvrability.

Its outline centres the lift, then tapers towards the tips to maintain rail-to-rail responsiveness and free up the foil. The rider gains acceleration, precision and liveliness, while keeping freedom underfoot.

The slightly swept-back tips move the stab's centre of lift further back, improving its lever arm. You can reduce the surface area, gain glide and keep the ride comfortable.

Versatile profile

The Fluid profile is optimised to deliver strong glide at medium and high speeds, while remaining forgiving when speed drops.

It frees up the foil, reduces drag sensations and delivers very clear acceleration. The foil becomes faster, looser and more lively underfoot.

This versatility makes it ideal for carving, high-performance freeride, committed surf, bumps, glide and dynamic speed build-up, including in light wind.

Low anhedral

The Fluid's low anhedral really unlocks the foil in yaw. The result is a snappier, more responsive and more manoeuvrable feel.

This geometry also maximises lift and reduces drag, boosting glide, acceleration and stall tolerance.

The foil stays very free, yet predictable. That's what makes the Fluid so effective for surfing fast, placing the foil in chop or building speed with cadence.

Medium connection

The Fluid stab fuselage is a standard length to maintain an excellent balance between manoeuvrability, control and glide.

This length allows you to keep surface area low to reduce drag, without making the foil too unstable or too technical.

The result is a very lively, precise and fast stab that frees up the foil without making it uncontrollable.

SuperLock self-tightening system

The SuperLock self-tightening stab connection has been designed to guarantee perfect tightening even after hours long sessions.

The more pressure you put into the stab, the tighter it fits into the fuselage.

The pressure angle makes it very easy to disassemble the stab, even after long sessions.

This fitting only requires two screws under the stab, which makes changing the front wing easier and faster.

This tightening principle is already validated for several years on our V2 stabs.

A real plus for daily use!

A more efficient foil shape

One of the key elements in the evolution of this range is the complete redesign of our foils to increase their structural and hydrodynamic qualities.

The V3 fuselage is:

The new round shape allows a 12% gain in glide and the thicker section approaching the stab increases the strength and rigidity of the foil.

Hours of calculations on extremely powerful computers have allowed us to optimize the smallest detail to maximize performance. The fillets of all our connections have been carefully studied and adjusted to minimize hydrodynamic disturbances and increase the rigidity and resistance of the assembly.

V3 Atmo, a new era

The V3 Atmo range marks a major leap forward in the design, manufacturing, and finishing of our foils. Reaching this new level of performance required far more than evolving the shapes. We rethought the entire process, from R&D to the finished product.

Every V3 Atmo shape is designed in 3D, digitally optimized, thoroughly tested by the GONG Team, and manufactured with an unprecedented level of precision. Profiles, thickness distribution, transitions, fillets, connection areas, and trailing edges have all been refined to reduce parasitic drag, improve water flow, and maximize efficiency.

Our new production facility enables manufacturing in an ultra-clean, highly controlled environment with a level of precision approaching that of the world's leading aerospace, motorsport, and high-performance composite industries. Optimized extraction of solvents and dust creates better working conditions while ensuring cleaner parts throughout every stage of production.

Tighter control over every step, from material handling, layup, machining, and molding to cooling and finishing, delivers an unprecedented level of accuracy, particularly on the trailing edges. This controlled refinement minimizes hydrodynamic disturbances, reduces noise, improves glide, and contributes to the overall performance gains of the V3 Atmo range.

But the real breakthrough isn't just producing a beautiful part, it's producing the same beautiful part every time. Every wing leaves the factory with the same profile, the same fit, the same trailing edge, the same stiffness, and the same ride feel. In foiling, even a few tenths of a millimeter can affect ventilation, stall behavior, noise, speed, and stability.

Who is it for?

This is a stab for all-round riders looking for high performance in every situation and condition.

What is it for?

Manoeuvrability, versatility and balanced performance are at the heart of the development of this stab, which delivers maximum potential in all situations, whether in carving, speed, light wind, or glide / freefly.

Built using a technology developed specifically for glide, this stab is not suited to jumps or extreme manoeuvres. If you want to explore another dimension by getting into aerial freestyle, we recommend switching to the carbon models.

What size?

General guidelines for choosing your stab size:

Your ideal size will depend on your board, your level, your weight, the conditions at your spot, and also your front wing.

A larger stab will make take-off easier because the foil will generate significant torque, which will tend to give it a higher angle of attack. This also means a more pronounced feedback under your front foot.

A smaller stab will be more technical on take-off but will boost speed and manoeuvrability. You also lose some front foot pressure, which means you will need to move the foil forward in the boxes to regain that stability.

Always match the stab size to the front wing size to achieve balanced flight and harmonious performance between these two components.

Who is the Fluid stab for?

For intermediate to advanced riders looking for a foil that is faster, more manoeuvrable, looser and more lively underfoot.

Is it a beginner stab?

No. It remains forgiving, but its lower lift and freer feel require more precision than an X-Over, an Ascent or a Curve.

What’s the difference between Fluid and Curve?

The Curve has more lift, is easier and more comfortable at low speed. The Fluid is faster, looser, snappier and higher performance.

What’s the difference between Fluid and Ascent?

The Ascent is much more forgiving and more progressive. The Fluid is livelier, faster and more demanding, with much more potential for riders who already have solid foil control.

Is it suitable for wing foiling?

Yes, for a high-performance freeride programme, carving, speed, glide, light wind and dynamic speed build-up. It makes the foil more lively and more precise.

Is it suitable for surf foiling?

Yes, for surfing fast, turning tight, linking sections with fast pumping and keeping a lively foil. It requires a higher level than a Curve.

Is it suitable for pump foiling?

Yes, for dynamic pumping with more cadence and speed. Its low drag promotes quick speed build-up, but requires more precision.
