Based in Rio de Janeiro, Evelin was born about an hour from the ocean and grew up deeply connected to the water through swimming and diving. By the age of 11 she had discovered the ocean lifestyle, later taking up surfing, and eventually settling near the beach where she has remained ever since, fully committed to life on the water.
Her connection to GONG began naturally after the brand reached out via Instagram, sparking an immediate mutual connection built on shared values and a deep love for watersports. Inspired by the brand’s vision and energy, as well as the influence of Patrice, she continues to grow within the team. Evelin’s strength lies in her profound connection to the ocean and her belief in its ongoing evolution, with a particular affinity for longboard surfing and a forward-looking perspective on the sport’s future. Most proud of always staying true to her heart and path, she is motivated by the daily journey, personal growth, and the drive to keep evolving as both a person and a waterwoman.
