“Amazing board. The HIPE Diamond 5’6 has been an amazing surprise from the very first session. I was coming from a GONG HIPE Pro 5’1 (95 L – 2023). In reality, the volume reduction (from 95 to 90) is almost not perceived at all in terms of flotation. What is immediately noticeable is how much faster and more reactive the Diamond is: it picks up speed incredibly quickly and accelerates with ease. Paired with a Droid 5.5 and Curve L in 10–12 knots, the board was super enjoyable, smooth, and very efficient. It feels lively underfoot and makes light-wind sessions genuinely fun. Another big plus is the weight: the board is significantly lighter, which you really feel both on the water and when handling it. The graphics are stunning, and the pads are super comfortable, offering great grip without being aggressive. I also really appreciate the multiple strap insert options. Thanks to the extra settings, I was finally able to dial in the perfect stance for my slim feet, which makes a big difference in control and comfort. Overall, the HIPE Diamond 5’6 is a fast, light, and beautifully finished board that delivers both performance and fun. Highly recommended. Well done, GONG team.”

The whole setup is lightweight, really well-made, packs down small, and inflates pretty quickly. On the water, the glide is incredible, takeoffs are quick, and the board feels super smooth. My first sessions were in wingfoil, and I can't wait to try it in lowkite.”

“I was riding a 2023 HIPE Perf 6.0 before switching to the Diamond, mainly to improve my low-end performance. And I'm definitely not disappointed! The new deck feels great underfoot and offers excellent grip. I honestly didn't expect the weight savings to make such a noticeable difference. But the biggest improvement is how early it gets on foil. My first session was in really light wind. The windfoilers couldn't get flying, and apart from a kite foiler, I was the only one up on foil. The board carries its glide so well that you can pump more slowly and smoothly, building speed all the way to takeoff. And despite being 10 cm narrower and having 40 L less volume, stability hasn't been an issue at all. Can't wait for the next sessions!”
