Gabriel now has the edge on his buddy on kite foiling gear in super light conditions thanks to the glide of the HIPE Cruzader.

Wing foiler: Fabien, GONG staff, equipped with a GONG Powerlight harness, a HIPE Cruzader 7’6 and a SuperPower wing.

Easy by 7 knots

“Feedback about the HIPE Cruzader 6’6 received yesterday morning. I went to the sea yesterday at the end of the day and I didn’t think I was going to fly given the wind.

With my Mint I wouldn’t have managed to take off but with this Cruz it was almost easy because it glides really well so you easily get the speed needed to take off. It was a nice surprise! My friend had measured 7 knots with the anemometer and I could fly.”

“I was on a SuperPower 9m, Alu 85 mast, Fluid-H XXL and Fluid 47 stab. Before it was my friend in kite foil who was better in light wind now it’s the opposite. He couldn’t fly and I could.

I would perhaps look later for the Titanium Pro fuselage, the Carbon mast (besides, just an idea for GONG: create a thicker aluminum mast for giant wings and therefore less expensive than carbon) and a giant wing to fly in 6 knots and less. Thanks to GONG for these beautiful toys!”
