Overview
The Neutra Aramid X 2027 is a smooth, direct and high-performance wing, designed for riders who want to push their limits in surf, freefly and committed riding. Its Pro Team Series construction combines an Aramid frame with a Code X canopy to deliver an instant connection with the wing, remarkable shape retention and a level of precision built for demanding sessions.
In surf, it knows how to disappear while remaining instantly available. When flagged out, it naturally floats by your side, follows your changes of line and lets you focus on the wave and the foil. Its refined leading edge and open, tapered tips enhance that feeling of freedom, with a wing that follows your carves while staying lively and responsive.
When you power back up, the Neutra X delivers firm, direct and perfectly balanced support. The forward-focused pull lets you accelerate quickly, while the refined rear profile frees up the glide and keeps the response when sheeting in and out smooth and progressive. The result is a wing that is fast, precise and very comfortable to hold when the wind picks up.
The Pro Team Series construction reinforces that character even further. The Aramid in the leading edge and strut holds the structure precisely in place, while the Code X canopy brings exceptional stiffness and profile stability. Strut
The Neutra Aramid X 2027 features an Aramid strut, specially developed to maintain smooth, precise and natural handling. Its triple-section design and diameter that gradually tapers towards the rear allow the strut to flex evenly when the wing loads up. The profile is maintained over around 45% of its length, then the rear third tapers off to free up glide. The leading edge / strut connection and the shape of the rear cone complete this architecture to deliver a direct, consistent response, with all the precision expected from a Pro Team Series construction.
Profile
The Neutra Aramid X 2027 features a slightly tighter profile through the front section to promote glide and maintain direct, in-line pull. The draft is concentrated at a precise point to deliver clear, stable support in the hands. Through the rear two thirds, the profile has been deliberately refined to free up the airflow and make the power easy to modulate. The Aramid structure holds this geometry precisely under load to keep the wing smooth, settled and direct, with natural sheeting in and out through gusts as well as transitions.
Outline
The Neutra Aramid X 2027 keeps the same wingspan and overall chord, but redistributes the surface area towards the centre and front of the wing. This geometry delivers well-directed pull, torque and efficient speed build-up, while maintaining a balanced, agile outline. The Aramid structure holds this distribution precisely under load and preserves a direct, stable feel. The wing accelerates easily, maintains power through lulls, and stays natural to reposition in transitions as well as in the waves.
Tips
The tips of the Neutra Aramid X 2027 feature a natural flare that lets them twist off progressively under load and free up the glide. Their refined shape reduces inertia at the extremities and, combined with the Aramid structure, maintains a light, precise feel through changes of direction. What size should you choose?
Choose your size according to your weight, level, the wind, and the efficiency of your foil and board.
Thanks to its excellent pumping transfer and rapid acceleration, the Neutra Aramid makes efficient use of its surface area. So avoid systematically oversizing it in search of power: a well-matched size will retain more speed, maneuverability and freedom in rotations.
A larger size will be interesting for maximising take-off in light wind. A more compact size will be especially enjoyable in freestyle and when the wind picks up.

Which foil with the Neutra Aramid X?
In the V3 Atmo range, the Fluid makes for a particularly coherent pairing for committed surf. Fast, precise and maneuverable, it matches the Neutra X in powerful turns, quick line changes and dynamic speed build-up.
For an approach that is more focused on ease and carving, the Curve V3 Atmo brings intuitive, forgiving behaviour while retaining glide and an excellent ability to link up carves.
To push the cursor further towards surf performance, the Ypra Surf V3 Atmo let you go for a more radical ride, with more speed, precision and commitment through turns.

Which board with the Neutra Aramid X?
The Lethal Hollow Carbon is the natural choice for a committed wave riding programme. Its shape prioritises precision, freedom through carves and responsiveness underfoot: a very coherent pairing with the Neutra X to fully unlock its surf potential.
The Lemon Hollow Carbon brings a more versatile approach, with a compact, playful board that remains very comfortable in both surf and freeride. It lets you enjoy the precision and glide of the Neutra X with a feel that is more accessible day to day.
The Mint Hollow Carbon is better suited to those who want to keep true versatility between freeride, freefly and wave riding. Its balance lets you combine the performance of the Neutra X with a board that is easy to use in varied conditions.
For light wind and glide on take-off, a board from the Cruzader Point family lets you make the most of the Neutra X’s efficiency. Its elongated format promotes speed before lift-off and makes take-offs easier when the wind is lighter.
Which boom should you choose?
The Neutra Aramid X is designed exclusively around a boom and remains compatible with GFS V2 and GFS V3 systems.
The Carbon Boom offers the best balance of stiffness, light weight, precision and versatility. It is the most balanced choice for getting the most out of the Neutra X in surf, freefly and freeride.
The Full Carbon Boom takes the connection even further. Its full carbon construction delivers maximum stiffness and extremely direct handling, particularly valuable for unlocking the full potential of the Neutra X in committed riding.
The 2-Piece Carbon Boom prioritises ease of transport while retaining a stiff connection once assembled. It is especially practical for travel and storage. The GFS V3-compatible versions let you choose between a classic boom and a removable two-piece solution.
Which leash?
A 5’5 to 8’ wing leash will suit the vast majority of uses.
A short leash lets you recover the wing quickly after a fall, which is especially useful in freestyle when attempts come one after another. A longer leash leaves more distance between the foil and the wing during a fall.
Check its condition regularly and replace it as soon as it shows signs of wear. The leash is an essential part of your safety setup.
Do not leave your wing flapping unnecessarily in the wind at the end of the leash, and never try to hold the wing back abruptly by the leash in the waves.
Harness or not?
The Neutra works perfectly without a harness for freestyle, surf and highly mobile sessions, where you want to be able to move the wing freely and change position quickly.
For fast freeride, long reaches, or when you are riding well powered, a harness can significantly reduce arm fatigue and let you use the wing’s power for longer.
All our wings feature dedicated attachment points for harness lines. Start with a generous length to make hooking in and out easier, then gradually reduce the length as you gain experience.
Go for a lightweight, low-bulk harness along with a thin line dedicated to wing use. The goal is to relieve the arms without limiting freedom of movement, especially in transitions and tricks.
Lines with 24 to 28 cm between the batten and the bottom of the V will be perfect. A length of 30 to 32 cm makes getting started easier. A small-diameter rope and thin tubing are essential because windsurf lines, for example, are too heavy and stiff, and therefore dangerous in tacks and other tricks.
What mistakes should you avoid?
Do not choose the Neutra Aramid X solely for its Pro Team Series construction. Its real value appears when your level allows you to exploit its precision, efficiency and direct response, especially in surf, freefly and committed freeride.
Also avoid choosing too large a size to compensate for a foil or board that is not well suited to light wind. A coherent, well-sized combo will let you fully enjoy the wing’s glide, maneuverability and efficiency.
Finally, always respect the recommended inflation pressures. The Aramid X structure offers excellent shape retention under load, so there is no need to try to artificially increase its stiffness by overinflating the wing.
Already equipped: why add a Neutra Aramid X?

5 windows
The Neutra Aramid X 2027 features five windows distributed across the canopy to maintain good visibility of your surroundings without affecting the wing’s behaviour. Their positioning helps you better anticipate other riders, obstacles and lines during take-offs, transitions or close-quarters riding. A real plus for learning, progressing and riding with confidence, while keeping a wing that is light, balanced and easy to handle.
Semi-rigid downwind textile handle
Almost rigid, the downwind handle offers a more precise and more direct grip to improve wing control in freefly and in surf. It gives you better one-handed control of the wing while keeping enough flex to stay comfortable during depowered phases.
The new oval stitching and the added reinforcements at the anchor points distribute loads more efficiently across the leading edge, improving the durability of the whole assembly.
The Dyneema leash attachment is now positioned on the canopy side of the handle. This keeps the leash clearer of the grip area and reduces interference with your hands in freefly.
Fast inflation with the One Pump Max Flow system
The leading edge and central strut are connected by the One Pump system to inflate the whole wing quickly from a single valve. Once the wing is pressurised, the clip allows the two bladders to be isolated so the wing retains buoyancy in the event of damage to the strut or leading edge.
A second valve is built into the strut to speed up deflation. Simply open the leading edge and strut valves to release the air quickly and make folding and packing easier.
To preserve the wing’s structure, always make sure to deflate the strut at the same time as the leading edge and never leave the strut pressurised on its own.
Fiberglass mini battens
Fiberglass mini battens are integrated into the trailing edge to effectively reduce flutter and maintain the profile all the way to the end of the canopy.
They stabilise the trailing edge, improve profile hold and promote cleaner airflow to keep the wing precise and efficient, even as speed increases.
Light, durable and easy to replace, they also make it easy to maintain your wing and preserve its performance over time.
Camera safety loops
Discreet nylon safety attachments are integrated on each tip and near the strut to secure your camera when it is mounted on the leading edge or on the strut with a suitable mount.
Their positioning is designed to keep the leash out of the camera’s field of view and avoid any interference while riding. This lets you film your sessions from several angles with a clean, secure setup, without the risk of losing your camera in a crash.
Repair kit
A repair kit is supplied with your wing so you can carry out standard repairs and extend its lifespan.
It includes patches suited to bladders and fabrics, handy for quick repairs in the event of a small puncture, cut or tear.
Carry bag
The wing comes with a practical, durable carry bag designed to make packing, transport and storage between sessions easier.
Its volume makes it easy to pack the folded wing with its accessories, while its compact format makes getting to the spot easier and limits bulk in the vehicle or at home. Please note, the bag is not compatible with a wing packed with the boom fitted.

That is why we are committed to offering the components needed to maintain our wings for 10 years: bladders, valves, fabrics and specific parts remain available to extend the lifespan of your gear as much as possible.
If needed, you have two options:
- Our GONG workshop can diagnose your wing and carry out the necessary repairs.
- Spare parts are available to order so you can carry out maintenance yourself or have the repair done by your usual workshop.
If a reference is temporarily unavailable, we do everything necessary to restock it as quickly as possible.

What is the difference between the Neutra Aramid X 2027 and the Neutra Aramid X 2026?
The Neutra Aramid X 2027 retains the fluid, radical and highly precise character of the previous generation, with a reworked shape to deliver more glide, acceleration and control under load.
The front section of the profile is slightly tightened, with the draft more concentrated towards the front to provide clear, well-directed drive. The rear two-thirds have been refined to free up glide, lighten back-hand pressure and make sheeting in and out more progressive.
The surface area has been redistributed towards the centre and front to boost torque, acceleration and the ability to build speed again. The tips have also been opened up and refined to promote spill and reduce inertia, with a particularly free feel in freefly.
The Boom strut evolves with a triple-section design, a progressive reduction in diameter and a profile maintained over around 45% of its length. Combined with the Aramid structure and Code X canopy, this geometry delivers a wing that is extremely stable, fast and precise as speed builds, while preserving the freedom of movement that defines the Neutra.
Is it suitable for freestyle and jumps?
Yes, it can absolutely handle jumps and committed maneuvers, but its main focus remains wave riding and freefly.
Its forward draft and surface area pulled further forward provide solid support to accelerate and build speed, while the Aramid X construction keeps the profile very stable when the wing is loaded. The refined tips make direction changes easier and deliver precise response through transitions and rotations.

How does it perform in light wind?
The Neutra Aramid X retains a solid power reserve and excellent speed build-up.
The area concentrated towards the centre and front generates torque for pumping, while the Aramid X structure efficiently transfers every input. Its efficient profile then lets you build speed quickly and punch through lulls.
Paired with the right board and foil, it lets you make the most of light conditions while retaining the precision and maneuverability that define the Neutra.
How does it handle when the wind picks up?
This is one of the Neutra Aramid X's strong points. Its reduced-diameter leading edge and refined rear profile give it a smooth, balanced feel that's easy to control at the top end.

What does the Aramid X construction bring compared with a Dacron Neutra?
The leading edge and strut in 85 g/m² Aramid provide a lightweight structure that remains particularly stable under load.
This construction absorbs very little of the rider's input: pumping becomes more direct, acceleration is crisp, and the wing responds instantly through changes of direction.
The Code X canopy completes this structure with very high rigidity and profile stability. It keeps the wing's geometry precisely in place as the load increases, delivering greater precision, responsiveness and control in committed phases.

Can you use handles on the Neutra Aramid X 2027?

The Neutra Aramid X is designed exclusively for use with a boom. Its strut and the distribution of its stiffness zones are developed specifically for this continuous grip, to deliver a direct, precise connection with the wing.
