Overview
The Fork is the modern swallow: the perfect mix of a fish’s easy glide and the precision of a high-performance shortboard. A board designed for everyday waves, the ones that are not always perfect, but where you still want to get in early, accelerate hard and surf at a high level.
Its purpose is simple: never struggle in imperfect conditions. Soft, average, choppy, windy or slightly disorganised waves, the Fork keeps its speed and glide. It lets you get through weak sections, build speed quickly and stay active even when the wave is not giving you everything.
Its round point nose brings more comfort than a comp shortboard. Paddling is easier, wave entry is smoother, and take-off comes with more margin for error. You catch more waves without needing to choose a board with too much volume.
The Fork glides naturally. Its volume gives just the right amount of float, without becoming a hindrance in manoeuvres. There is no need to oversize it: choose it with the right volume to keep all its performance, manoeuvrability and fast feeling underfoot.
From the first bit of pressure through the feet, the board accelerates. You can feel that ability to burst through the section, hold its drive and turn an average wave into a real surfing line. The wide swallow tail gives you the support you need to push hard, build speed and keep projection through your carves.

OUTLINE
A modern outline that combines a forward wide point to make paddling easier and a straighter tail to generate speed. The Fork keeps plenty of usable surface area without becoming a cumbersome board: it carries, planes and accelerates naturally.
The round point nose adds comfort on take-off and helps you get in early, even in soft or imperfect waves. You gain more margin, more glide and more ease, while keeping a high-performance feel underfoot.
ROCKER
A relatively flat rocker to accelerate quickly, pick up speed from the first bit of pressure and carry through soft sections without dying out. That’s what gives the Fork its natural glide and that feeling of a board that takes off on its own.
The curve stays modern enough to keep control and manoeuvrability through turns. You get a fast board that still feels lively, easy to place and ready to respond when you push harder.
BOTTOM SHAPE
The single concave to double concave to V bottom sets the board's tempo. The single concave under the front foot generates speed and lift, the double concave through the fins brings control and hold, then the V in the tail frees up the rail-to-rail transition.
The result: the Fork accelerates hard, keeps its drive and stays easy to roll from rail to rail despite its buoyant tail. A bottom shape built to draw fast lines, build speed effortlessly and keep its precision in imperfect conditions.
TAIL
The wide swallow tail is the engine of the Fork. It brings lift, support and strong acceleration under the back foot. In softer sections, it lets you push hard and turn every bit of pressure into speed.
Its swallow cut keeps two effective hold points while freeing up the centre of the tail. You still get drive, projection and livelier handling than with a simply wide tail.
RAILS
The rails are 100% performance-oriented, designed to hold the Fork’s natural speed. They deliver grip, precision and control when the board accelerates, especially in fast, choppy or windy waves.

What board size?

What are the ideal waves?

Which construction?
We offer different constructions on certain shapes to match the programme, the conditions and sometimes simply individual habits too.
On a board like the Fork, the construction has to support its natural speed, drive and control. The shape already brings plenty of glide and acceleration, then the construction influences the level of liveliness, inertia and response underfoot.
A more lively construction will enhance speed build-up and responsiveness. It will give you a more alive, more direct and more dynamic Fork in small conditions, with immediate response when you push through your turns.
A construction with more inertia will give a calmer, smoother and more stable ride in imperfect conditions. That can be interesting if you often surf chop, wind or fast waves where you're looking for a board that stays well connected to the face.
The right choice will therefore depend on your style. If you want to maximise the Fork's fast, lively and modern side, go for a dynamic construction. If you want to calm the board down slightly and gain smoothness through your turns, choose a construction with more inertia.
Which fin setup?
The Fork is designed around a quad Single Tab setup. This setup is central to its behaviour: it maximises drive, acceleration and high-speed control.
The quad gives more hold than a classic twin, while keeping plenty of speed. It distributes pressure better, makes the ride more secure and lets you push harder through carves without losing the shape's natural efficiency.
On the Fork, avoid fin sets that are too small if you push hard or if the waves have speed. The wide tail and the board's natural glide require a minimum amount of hold to keep the ride clean.
On the other hand, a set that is too big or too grippy can limit manoeuvrability. The right choice is a quad that delivers drive and control without restricting rail-to-rail transitions or making the board too stiff under the back foot.
Rake
Rake refers to the rearward curve of the fin. The more rake there is, the more the fin tip is set back towards the tail.
With more rake, the Fork will gain hold, drive and longer carves. That's interesting if you want to draw fast lines, push hard and keep control when the wave accelerates.
With less rake, the board will turn tighter and release more easily. It's a consistent choice if you want to emphasise manoeuvrability and keep the Fork livelier in small or soft waves.
On this board, moderate to pronounced rake often works well to make the most of the programme: speed, drive and enough control to surf committed in imperfect conditions.
Base
The base is the lower part of the fin, the part in contact with the board.
A long base will bring more drive, more projection and more speed through carves. On the Fork, that makes a lot of sense if you want to tap into its modern fish side and draw full lines with plenty of efficiency.
A shorter base will free up the board and give it more pivot. That can be interesting if your waves are small, short, or if you want to make the tail more mobile.
As the Fork already has good natural speed, the base lets you fine-tune the quad's character: more base for pushing and holding, less base for release and tighter turns.
Depth
Depth is the height between the base and the fin tip.
A deeper fin will give more hold, more stability and more control. This is useful for powerful surfers, heavier riders or fast, bumpy waves.
A shallower fin will reduce drag and make the board feel freer. It will deliver more outright speed, more manoeuvrability and a more playful feel under the back foot.
On the Fork, keep enough depth to control the wide swallow tail, especially if you surf fast or if the conditions are imperfect. But avoid going too deep if you want to preserve the easy rail-to-rail feel brought by the V in the tail.
Surface area
A fin with more surface area will bring more hold, more grip and more control through your turns. That's interesting if you want to make the Fork feel more secure in fast, windy or choppy waves.
A fin with less surface area will make the board freer, more playful and easier to pivot. It's a logical choice in small waves, when the goal is to maximise glide and ease of positioning.
In a quad setup, total surface area can quickly become significant. So you need to choose a set that gives enough control to hold speed, without making the board too grippy or too hard to release.
Flex
Flex is the fin's ability to deform under pressure and then return to its original shape.
A fin with more flex will give a smoother, more forgiving and more progressive feel. That can help in imperfect waves, especially if you want a Fork that is more comfortable and easier to control.
A stiffer fin will give more response, more precision and more drive. On a fast board like the Fork, that's very interesting for transmitting pressure, holding carves and keeping the ride clean at high speed.
If you want to maximise performance, choose fins with good stiffness and solid construction. The Fork's quad setup needs to support the shape's natural speed without becoming vague under pressure.
