“My first impression of the Hyper Trail was simply: what a beauty! The wing tips, the overall quality and the craftsmanship are absolutely top-notch.

For the last two years, I’ve been riding nothing but the Veloce V3. I’ve pumped everything from XXL down to S, and with the Veloce V3 M I was able to reach almost 30 km/h.

But now, let’s talk about the Hyper Trail M and L.

My first impression was that the pressure point is very centrally positioned. This foil has a serious amount of lift. With the Veloce, I would definitely have needed to go one size bigger. The Hyper Trail M, with its 850 cm², feels at takeoff more like a 1000 cm² Veloce V3.”

Designed for playful pump foil sessions

“The Hyper Trail is fast, but it’s not quite as fast as the Veloce V3. Because of the pressure generated by the front wing, you are always riding quite high on the mast. It doesn’t require as much energy to keep running as the Veloce V3. I also think the 700 cm² S would be absolutely no problem for me to pump at 80 kg.

But what really sets this wing apart is its stability through turns. It’s incredible how it cuts through the water, like a hot knife through butter. I’ve never experienced this level of directional stability with any other wing.

Whether you’re doing tight or wide turns, the Hyper Trail handles it all. Both the M and L are absolute carving monsters.”

Who is it for?

“The Hyper Trail is a foil for ambitious pump foilers who love tight turns, carving and playfulness.

It’s not the ultimate speed-record machine. But thanks to its volume and lift, it gets going extremely early. Every tiny course correction is translated immediately, without ever feeling overwhelming or difficult to control.

Personally, I would ride the Hyper Trail one size smaller than the Veloce V3.

All in all, it’s a fantastic new foil that gives you confidence even at high speeds. A very user-friendly, highly stable carving machine that makes dockstarting and pumpfoiling incredibly enjoyable.”
