Overview

Stable, easy and quick to lift off, the Cruzader Diamond delivers crazy efficiency for riders who love glide.

Its compact downwinder-style mid-length shape lets it get going early while remaining surprisingly easy and enjoyable once flying. It feels reassuring, not tiring, while still delivering very strong performance. It really is a brilliant board with zero hassle.

On the water, you get excellent stability for such a narrow board. It glides naturally, accelerates easily and lets you lift off early without exhausting yourself with pumping. As soon as you're flying, you get that famous "no nose" feeling back: very little board in front of your feet and a lot of freedom in the ride.

That’s the whole point of the Diamond: bringing back the glide of a DW board with the qualities of a compact board. It makes the most of light conditions with ease, then lets you carve in freefly or in the waves on a board that stays natural and easy to place.

It is also very enjoyable through all the phases before take-off. Foot placement is easy to find, restarts take little energy, and its balance keeps you comfortable even when the water gets messier.

The recessed deck brings the rider even closer to the foil and makes the feel more direct, while keeping the comfort that gives the Diamond its charm.

Its Hollow Full Carbon construction naturally extends that character. With less mass under your feet, the board feels more discreet and responds instantly to your inputs. Above all, you get a Diamond that feels even freer and more lively once flying, without losing the ease that makes it so enjoyable day to day.

The Cruzader Diamond remains a particularly likeable board: easy, fast-gliding, responsive and versatile, ideal for riders who want to get going early and then make the most of their foil, whether wing foiling or lowkite.

OUTLINE

Thanks to its long, narrow outline, the Cruzader Diamond delivers exceptional glide and makes take-off in light wind incredibly easy. Despite its narrow width, it stays perfectly balanced on the water and inspires confidence straight away.

In surf and freefly, it is genuinely a pleasure to ride: compact, natural underfoot and easy to place. Comfort in surf is flawless, while its responsiveness through the feet lets you maintain constant control through every phase of the ride.

The Cruzader Diamond is the ideal mid-length.

ROCKER

Thanks to a stretched rocker, glide is a real advantage in all conditions. It accelerates easily, lifts off early and maintains its speed during speed build-up phases.

At the rear, the slight kicktail helps release the hull when the board is put on rail. It reduces touchdowns in the waves while preserving the rocker’s efficiency on take-off.

HULL

The flat tail hull provides a highly efficient planing surface. The water flows cleanly all the way to the back, which helps acceleration and lets you quickly reach the speed needed for take-off.

Between the boxes and the nose, the double concave softens contact with the water. It smooths out touchdowns, stabilises the board and promotes rebound to stop it from sticking to the surface.

TAIL

The generous, buoyant diamond tail provides plenty of support under the back foot. Whether on your knees or while pumping, its volume helps the board naturally recover its trim and makes take-offs easier without wasting energy.

The volume is concentrated around the stance, then the tail tapers towards the rear. Combined with the slight kick, this design lets the Diamond keep all its support on the water while freeing up the tail in carves.

RAILS

The rails are straight and sharp in the tail to deliver clean water release. This crisp release limits unwanted drag and helps the Diamond maintain its glide through acceleration.

They gradually become less vertical through the middle, then softer over the front third. This lets the board ride through touchdowns and chop without any sudden braking effect, with plenty of comfort when riding close to the water.

NOSE

The rounded point nose keeps a fine, low-bulk tip while retaining enough volume to support the front of the board.

Its slightly faceted V bulb now concentrates its maximum volume closer to the rider. Support therefore comes exactly where it is most useful when the nose is under load, while still keeping the tip light and unobtrusive once flying.

Recessed deck

The recessed deck brings your feet closer to the foil for greater connection, precision and control. This lower position improves the transfer of rider input whether riding strapped or strapless, while maintaining enough freedom to adjust your stance. The rider feels more locked in, closer to the foil and benefits from a more direct feel through every maneuver.

Volume distributed from nose to tail

The lowered deck is combined with added volume at the front and rear to maintain support around the rider. The maximum nose volume is positioned closer to the stance to provide better support during take-off, acceleration and water contact. At the rear, the volume follows the same principle, creating a natural continuity in the shape from nose to tail.

Drain Plug

The drain plug has been specially designed to make operation safer and easier. Its shape allows it to lock directly into the board to ensure a watertight seal while riding, with a 90° twist-lock closure. When opening, the system passes through an intermediate position before fully releasing the plug. This maximizes airflow between sessions and also allows any water to drain out in the event of infiltration before repair.

Team Series Graphic Signature

The Team Series range shares an instantly recognizable visual identity built around a textured Frozen White finish that adds depth to the surface and creates an almost crystallized appearance depending on the light.

This light base is paired with a tail color specific to each shape, giving every board its own personality while maintaining a strong visual consistency across the range. The contrast between the Frozen White and the tail colors highlights the board’s lines and reinforces its identity without overloading the design.

Footstrap Inserts

The new footstrap inserts improve both adjustability and support. At the rear, the two-screw mounting system offers 5 positions for precise foot placement while limiting strap rotation under heavy loads. At the front, 3 positions allow you to fine-tune your stance, with double side inserts positioned diagonally to improve stability and keep the strap perfectly in place during the most committed riding.

Luxe Footstraps

The new boards come equipped with a set of V-shaped Luxe Footstraps, chosen by our Team for their comfort and precision. Adjustable with Velcro, they provide fine, tool-free adjustment, both on land and while riding, allowing you to quickly adapt the fit to your foot and riding style.

Each footstrap combines:

An adjustable internal structure with semi-rigid reinforcement to provide effective support around the arch of the foot.
A lined neoprene cover for lasting comfort and softness during long sessions.

Their three-hole baseplate allows for one- or two-screw mounting. Combined with the double inserts, the two-screw setup provides a more secure fit and limits strap rotation under heavy loads, keeping your footing more stable and precise during committed maneuvers.

Ridge Traction Pad

With its perfect grip and 5 mm thickness, the new Ridge Traction Pad delivers outstanding comfort and traction. Your footing is completely secure, giving you surgical precision and control.

Contact with the board is firm and direct for precise foil control, while retaining the cushioning of a 5 mm pad.

The pad is also bonded directly to the board’s epoxy surface. This creates an extremely reliable bond between the pad and the board, significantly reducing the risk of delamination over time and keeping your footing secure for the long term. The result: a grip that stays perfectly in place, total confidence underfoot and significantly improved durability.

Optimized carry handle

An optimized carry handle is positioned at the board’s balance point with the foil mounted. It makes carrying the board and getting into the water easier, providing a natural and comfortable grip.

Who is it for?

The Cruzader Diamond is designed for intermediate to expert riders looking for more glide and efficiency without stepping up to a board that is tricky to balance.

It makes take-off much easier while remaining easy to get to grips with. Its stability and very forgiving behaviour let you enjoy the benefits of a mid-length without needing pro-level skills or fitness.

It is typically the light wind board for riders who want to significantly improve their low end while keeping plenty of comfort. It is also brilliant for riding underpowered, going strapless and enjoying maximum glide with minimum effort.

Its glide before take-off, forgiveness and the clarity of its behaviour make it a true benchmark among efficient boards.

What for?

Its range is particularly broad:

Light wind: its glide lets you accelerate with very little energy and take off very early, even when the wind is lacking.
Surf: its controlled size and natural feel let you carve with plenty of freedom once flying.

The Cruzader Diamond works particularly well with foils that prioritise glide, efficiency and speed retention. Its ability to accelerate easily before take-off also means you can choose smaller or higher-performance foils without losing the benefit of its early take-off.

The Curve V3 ATMO: the carving and control combo.
Its lift, manoeuvrability and very forgiving behaviour make the whole setup particularly easy. It is an excellent choice for making the most of the Diamond's glide while keeping plenty of control in freeride, surf and inconsistent conditions.

The Fluid V3 ATMO: the manoeuvrability and speed combo.
More lively and more playful, it brings more rhythm to your carves. It lets you benefit from the Diamond's efficiency on take-off, then enjoy a foil that is more mobile and responsive once flying.

The Veloce V3 ATMO: the glide and speed combo.
It is a particularly natural match with the Diamond. Its excellent efficiency helps maintain speed, get through lulls and extend freefly phases. A very good choice for fast freeride and long carves.

The Veloce Free Fly V3 ATMO: glide and freedom.
It retains plenty of energy while staying manoeuvrable enough to play with your lines. It is a perfect match for a Diamond used to connect bumps, carve and enjoy long freefly phases.

The Veloce Light Wind V3 ATMO: efficiency in light wind.
It pushes the Diamond's benefits even further in lighter winds. Its lift and glide let you take off early, then maintain flight easily when the available energy drops.

The Sirus V3 ATMO: to maximise low-end range.
Its very high lift and efficiency let you make the most of the lightest conditions. Combined with the Diamond's natural glide, it makes take-offs and staying on foil much easier with very little energy.

Which stab?

The choice of stab lets you noticeably tune the Diamond's character. Its glide-oriented programme means you can either aim for a very stable foil that is easy to keep flying or free up the whole setup more to gain speed or manoeuvrability.

Ideally, we recommend pairing your front wing with a V3 ATMO stab from the same programme. This consistency lets you find the intended feel within each foil family.

The Curve stab: control and ease.
It provides solid support and plenty of stability. Paired with a Diamond, it gives you a very reassuring setup that is easy to trim and comfortable in carves. It is an excellent configuration for progressing or simply prioritising comfort.

The Fluid stab: more freedom in carves.
It gives the foil a livelier, more playful feel. Weight transfers become quicker and the Diamond gains mobility in surf and freefly, without losing the efficiency brought by its shape.

The Veloce stab: glide first.
It is a perfect match for freeride, freefly or light wind use. It helps maintain speed and extend your lines with less effort, which fits the Diamond's efficient programme particularly well.

You can then fine-tune the feel further through stab size:

Larger: more support, drive and stability. The foil is easier to trim and requires less precision at low speed.
Smaller: less support and more freedom. The foil becomes livelier, accelerates more easily and responds faster to changes of direction.

On a Cruzader Diamond, a stab with enough lift helps reinforce its huge ease in light wind. By gradually reducing its size, you can then free up the foil and make more of the board's responsiveness in surf and freefly, without changing the setup's very glidy DNA.

Equipments

These boards are equipped with 2 GONG US Box Double Entry tracks compatible with standard 4-bolt plate foils and the SCS system with 9 cm spacing, Luxe footstraps with multi-position anti-twist inserts, a Ridge Traction Pad, an integrated carry handle, a leash plug, an automatic pressure relief screw and a high-flow drainage valve.

The Double Entry system allows very fast installation of GONG foils while remaining compatible with standard square nut setups. The SCS is not supplied with the board.

Who is the Cruzader Diamond for?

The Cruzader Diamond is aimed primarily at intermediate to expert riders who want a major step up in glide and easier take-off without moving to a board that is too technical. Despite its narrow outline, it retains reassuring stability and remains easy on the legs to ride.

It’s an excellent option for anyone wanting to discover the benefits of a mid-length while keeping a simple, versatile board.

Why choose a Cruzader Diamond over a compact board?

The Diamond delivers much more glide before take-off. It accelerates more easily, requires less pumping and gets you up on foil earlier, especially in light wind or when riding underpowered.

Once flying, its balance and refined outline greatly reduce the board’s perceived bulk. The result is a reactive board that’s easy to place despite the extra length.

Is the Cruzader Diamond difficult to balance on?

No. Its width is kept in check to favour glide, but its well-distributed volume and supportive Diamond tail give it excellent stability for such a narrow board.

It naturally requires a bit more attention than a very wide board, but it remains far more accessible than a very narrow downwind board. Foot pressure is easy to read, and the board naturally settles back into trim.

Is it really suited to light wind?

Yes, that’s one of its strong points. Its elongated outline and stretched rocker let it pick up speed quickly with very little effort. This makes it easier for the rider to reach the speed needed for take-off when the wind is light.

This efficiency also makes it possible to ride with a higher-performance foil or a smaller surface area while still keeping take-offs highly efficient.

Is the Cruzader Diamond suitable for lowkite?

Yes. Its glide, stability and ability to accelerate easily before take-off make it particularly well suited to lowkite. It lets you build speed easily with very little power available and offers enough comfort to handle the preparation and take-off phases.

It is also an excellent board for progressing in parawing without going straight to a more specialised shape.

Can you surf with a Cruzader Diamond?

Yes, and that is precisely what sets its programme apart. Despite its excellent glide, it remains very enjoyable in surf and freefly. Its compact size around the rider and its clean tail leave plenty of freedom in the carves.

Its slight kicktail and smooth forward shapes also make water contact more forgiving when surfing close to the surface.

Which foil should you choose with the Cruzader Diamond?

To keep plenty of ease and control, a Curve V3 ATMO is an excellent choice. A Fluid V3 ATMO brings more liveliness in surf, while a Veloce V3 ATMO or Veloce Free Fly V3 ATMO lets you push glide and speed retention further.

To make the most of light wind, the Veloce Light Wind V3 ATMO and Sirus V3 ATMO are particularly well suited.

Can you ride the Cruzader Diamond with or without straps?

Yes. It works very well strapless, especially in freefly, surf and lowkite, where the freedom to move your feet lets you make the most of its balance and glide.

With straps, the different positions let you fine-tune your stance to match your riding. The recessed deck brings your feet closer to the foil in both setups and enhances the feeling of connection with the foil.
