The board we selected is the LEMON EPS PRO. It's a board 100% strapless who will give you the best compromise possible between radicality and comfort. You don't have to be a pro to use it fully. With its advanced beam, you are comfortable when paddling and stable when taking off, even in difficult conditions. Once in flight, the finesse of the tail allows turn short andbe fluid without ever touching the water.

Lemon EPS Pro Surf Foil Board

Inspired by the program "cool & performance"From the Lemon wingfoil, this board is extreme in its dimensions but harmonious by its shapes.

Its very "lemon" shape offers shoulder width to row well, while maintaining a very thin tail, thanks in large part to its wingers. The rails and tail have very classic bevels to offer thin rails that place this board in a pure and very fluid line.

The lemon is long live,fluid and yet reassuring. This is the board for great sessions, the one you know you're going to have a blast with because everything clicks. You drop in early, you carve without limits, you pump easily, she doesn't touch the ground in the turns. Perfection!

THE FOIL CURVE H FG V3

A magical rail to rail, along with an impressive glideand atruly comfortable lift, is what the Curve H FG foil stands out for. Qualities that make it very accessible despite being a performance wing.

It is the foil of choice for mixing simplicity and the advantages of high aspect foils; be it for winging, surf foiling, kite foiling, dockstarts, or even wake foiling. It excels in carves, jumps, pumping, freeflying… impressive versatility without any complexity.

In its DNA we find the outline of the Curve which makes it a bestseller. Its very rounded leading edge that sets the tips back, makes for a very healthy drive in carves, be it in the low end or at high speed. It's not a front wing for snappy turns: it's a carver. It has grip and won't lose the line of your carve. You can feel a form of constant traction in any trajectory, as opposed to with a more sneaky behavior.

The low-speed lift of the Curve H FG means you don't need a lot of surface area to have fun. These are very tolerant and accessible wings for takeoff which allow you to reduce the surface area without losing low range.
We can then:

Undersize it to gain mania and speed.
Stay on your usual sizing to boost the glide and create magnificent curves in infinite glide!
Switch to larger wings, to have an ultra-early takeoff, while maintaining disconcerting glide and glide!

Some generalities on the choice of front fender sizes:

The preferred size will depend on your support, your level, your weight, the conditions of your spot but also your board and your wing.

When pumping, we will look for as much surface as possible to launch onto the board without waves or wind. We could possibly reduce the surface area by increasing our skills to achieve more speed.

In surfing/SUP foil, the ideal is to have a surface small enough to turn comfortably but large enough to be comfortable when taking off and pumping.

In wing, all sizes work. The heavier the rider and/or the wind is weak, the larger sizes we will look for. Conversely, riders who are lighter and comfortable with takeoff can look for smaller sizes.

When kiting, we will avoid going on wingspans of more than 80 cm because the counter-heel is significant and the ends of the foil easily pierce the surface. We will therefore favor lower ratio wings to start because they provide a lot of lift for a limited wingspan.

What stab?

We recommend that you combine a Curve H FG stab with your forehead wing Curve H FG, because these two components are designed for the same program and optimized to work in perfect harmony.

General information on the choice of stab sizes:

The preferred size will depend on your support, your level, your weight, the conditions of your spot but also your front wing.

A larger stab will make take-off easier because the foil will generate a significant torque which will tend to give it a significant angle of attack. This also implies a sharper return under the front foot.

A smaller stab will be more technical on takeoff but will boost speed and maneuverability. We also lose support on the front foot, which means having to move the foil forward in the boxes to regain this stability.

Always adjust the size of the stab to the size of the forehead wing to obtain a balanced flight and harmony of operation between these two components.

Foil should be practiced by taking into consideration all kite user precautions that are associated with the sport Foil. Remember that a Foil is long, cutting, and reaches high speeds. Getting hit by a Foil, or hitting someone/thing can have dramatic consequences.

Always Foil far from others, in a secure and safe waterscape without obstacles.

Foil is most often practiced in light winds which may cease to blow leading you to return to shore by swimming. As a consequence do not overestimate your your strength/capacity : never go further out than your skill and swimming capacities and wind conditions allow.

Always wear a helmet and life vest for floatation. Always wear a full body wetsuit.

When handling the Foil, be careful not to cut yourself along the edges.

GONG is NOT responsable in case of any and all accidents implicating a Foil GONG. The practice of Foil is undertaken under the complete responsability of the Foil User/Practioner.

GONG-GALAXY cannot be held liable for non-performance of the contract formed, on the one hand due to a force majeure event, as defined by the courts, and on the other hand, in the event of wrongdoing by the client or an unforeseeable and insurmountable act by a third party to the contract. GONG-GALAXY cannot be held liable for consequences resulting from the incorrect use of products sold on the Website.

Although our products have performances that are compatible with professional use, GONG-GALAXY does not intend to sell the professionals.

The danger in sports practised depends in large part in respecting fundamental rules for safety, priorities, and local regulations that are required for spots.

Each user of GONG-GALAXY products is responsible for making sure that he is at least covered by civil liability insurance, if necessary, by purchasing a sports license.

The rules for maintenance, use, and safety are found in the instructions for use delivered with each product. The instructions form an integral part of the scope of this contract, for which it constitutes an exhibit in and of itself. You acknowledge that you have carefully examined it.

Special statement regarding foils products

The practice of foils, in every medium, presents a special hazard. Notwithstanding the contents of the instructions for use of each product, it is imperative that a few simple rules be observed:

Wear a safety vest and a helmet. Foils contain areas of impact that are indispensable for their proper operation, but which present a real danger in the event of a shock. You are most exposed to this risk as a practitioner on the device. You must therefore protect yourself, consequently, using adequate equipment that meets standards. And you must protect yourself by never placing yourself in an at-risk situation. Your behaviour determines the risk you take.
Except for kite surf boards, equip your board, at all times, with a leash that is at least equal to the length of the board, as well as foot straps. These elements make it possible not to completely release the board in the direction of other users. Never move in a distance that is less than the length of your leash plus that of the board plus your centreboard should you fall amongst other practitioners. You must never bring a third party into this diameter which forms the area in which your activity presents risk.
Only practice in spots that are conducive for the activity (secure water entry, lack of shore break, regular bottom, orientation adapted the wind direction, etc.) and not frequented by practitioners of other nautical sports. A foil’s speeds require that the solo practitioner or one amongst multiple foil practitioners move in an environment where each person anticipates and has awareness of the others’ trajectories.
Scrupulously follow the rules of priority, especially since inertia and manoeuvrability are different from traditional media, above all for beginners. Courtesy and the sense of responsibility must be part of your practice so as not to create deviant behaviour that might lead to an accident.
Pay attention to the other practitioners, and generally speaking, to all users of the water body, even if they do not have priority in your area of movement (they may, among other things, underestimate your speed and your danger zone). Never practice around children or people who are unfamiliar with the sport, as their reactions might be completely unpredictable. You would be fully liable. GONG SUP will do everything in its power to alert you to the risks and explain to you the practical framework that we recommend. You cannot ignore these instructions as this would endanger you and everyone else, and jeopardize the GONG SUP brand which is a responsible company.
Pay attention to the water depth, since the presence of an appendage with several tens of centimetres below a beach vehicle is a new data point for a good number of practitioners, even those familiar with watersports. Breakage associated with pressure against or striking the bottom is not covered by the warranty.
Maintain and check your equipment regularly, and make no technical modification to it other than products and solutions sold by GONG-GALAXY. Never sharpen the trailing edges, as they would become cutting both for you and for the leash, thereby no longer holding onto the board!

It is highly recommended that you begin foil practice in an appropriate pedagogical setting, by means of an accredited club or school, that you read all of her articles on the GONG forum. This is to allow you to acquire an appropriate level of self-sufficiency and a real knowledge of the stakes in the practice of foil.
