The best glide in a performance shape. Designed for freeriding to wave riding.
Presentation
The Mint is a best-seller in our lineup, thanks to its magical glide.
Everything feels effortless with the Mint, and anything is possible. Takeoff requires no effort, and a pro will throw back mobs on repeat with it.
With its versatile shape, which maintains some length and width without being excessive, it strikes the perfect balance between ease and high-level performance. Its exceptional glide makes takeoffs easy, even in light wind conditions, while its stability when at a standstill is impeccable.
Maneuverability and responsiveness have been further optimized for an unmatched experience, especially in freefly mode. While other models in the range are more focused on pure performance or compactness, the Mint is the ideal choice for those seeking a high-performance board that's easy to handle and perfect for progressing.
Easy, smooth, stable, and physically low demanding, it’s a super cool board that our team loves riding for its versatility and simplicity in performance.
Available in 7 sizes, from 4'10" (65L) to 5'10" (130L), there’s definitely a Mint that will meet your needs.
Multiple Rear Strap Positions
To help as many riders as possible optimize their stance while carving, this board is equipped with six rows of rear strap inserts, allowing you to choose the position that best suits your preferences.
The centered strap is the standard option, but some riders prefer to offset their stance. The additional inserts allow for a strapped offset stance, whether you're goofy or regular. You can also choose to maintain center position at three different levels.
Ridge Traction Pad
With its perfect grip and 5mm thickness, the new Ridge Traction Pad offers absolute comfort and grip. Your stance is completely secure, and your control is surgically precise.
The contact with the board is firm and direct for perfect foil control, yet it retains the cushioning of a 5mm pad.
FSP 2X Technology
FSP 2X is our innovative, high-end technology, offering the best compromise between weight, durability, and performance on the market.
FSP 2X is a full sandwich of biaxial fiberglass and PVC. This high-density, 3mm thick material is strong, lightweight, and hydrophobic. It forms a rigid and durable outer shell on the EPS core of your board. Combined with the biaxial fiberglass, it ensures the best durability/performance balance on the market. Thanks to the vacuum bagging process used during production, the final weight of your board is perfectly controlled.
Durable, efficient, repairable, the brands capable of offering a total PVC sandwich in large series in Wing foiling can be counted on the fingers of one hand and GONG is the leading one!
- 3D shape on modeling software.
- Preshape by numerical control for total reliability.
- Shape control by traditional templates, finishing off the last mm 100% by hand.
- 100 % epoxy resin and EPS foam blank: solid and lightweight.
- Deck, hull, and rails in vacuumed PVC sandwich: incomparable solidity and incredible dynamism.
- Deck: full PVC/fiberglass sandwich composed of a high-density PVC foam core and 2 layers of 4oz fiberglass and 1 layer of 6oz biaxial fiberglass, fiberglass reinforcements on the sensitive areas.
- Hull: full PVC/fiberglass sandwich composed of a high-density PVC foam core and 2 layers of 4oz fiberglass and 1 layer of 6oz biaxial fiberglass, fiberglass reinforcements on the sensitive areas.
- Specific foil reinforcements: high density PVC block that holds in the two US rail boxes.
- Four layers of carbon cover the boxes. The PVC block connects the boxes to the deck for great durability.
- Carbon reinforcements of the strap inserts, under the heels and the trampling area.
- Rails: the PVC sandwich structure completely covers the rails: increased structural strength, very good impact resistance (paddle, knee or harness hook hits).
- Integrated GONG carrying handle in the PVC Sandwich : limits settling, avoids breakage in the surrounding area.
- Resin tinted hot coat : nobility of the process, weight saving and solidity of the finish.
- Hand-made matt “custom finish” for weight saving and a better glide.
Main qualities of the components:
EPS core: Lightweight, shock-absorbing, shape memory.
Epoxy resin: Durable, less brittle, shape memory.
Fiberglass: Strength, less brittle, forgiving, flexible.
High-density PVC foam: Waterproof, hard, strong, shape memory.

Buying guide
Who is it for?
Are you transitioning from a beginner board and seeking an all-around versatile option?
Are you looking for the classic board that glides best for using small foils effortlessly?
Do you want to minimize pumping without transitioning to a larger wing or a Cruzader?
Do you aim to ride for hours without ending up exhausted, without pushing your cardio to the limit?
The Mint is a high-performance board that allows for back mobes if you desire, but its significant advantage is making your life easier with incredible gliding.
Everything is easier with the Mint.
Why choose the Mint?
The Mint excels in covering light wind, freeride, freefly, and wave riding programs with remarkable comfort and ease. It is particularly loved for strapless riding, as its slightly greater length than pro boards provides a pleasant tolerance for a relaxed ride.
Its incredible glide eliminates concerns about touching; it’s just natural and painless. Brilliant and easy in surfing due to its length that smoothens out errors, allowing for underpowered riding without difficulty. It’s user-friendly for basic tricks and performs exceptionally well in jumps.
Moreover, the Mint is a board that loves carving, and whether it’s long rides or full-speed runs with friends, it excels in those scenarios as well.
Which size of board?

Which foil?
The Mint will be perfect with foils of the H range.
The Curve H: the combo of maneuverability and lift. It is the queen of carving and low end (which doesn’t mean it can’t pick up speed!). It is also the most comfortable for pumping, allowing for numerous connections without burning out your thighs.
The Fluid H: the combo of maneuverability and speed. Perfect for making tight turns, going fast, gliding, and having a very responsive foil. With a very powerful pop added to that, it’s a foil that can truly go anywhere you want, both in the water and in the air!
The Veloce H: the combo of glide, speed, and carves. With these qualities, it is a machine for freeride and long carves, freefly, and downwind. With it, you can glide and connect bumps without limits with unparalleled fluidity. It has a great acceleration capacity on the wave and a low stalling speed, making it easy to fly in all conditions.
The Veloce HDW: 100% glide with a ratio of 13+. Fully focused on endless gliding, the Veloce HDW is the queen of downwind and fast pumping; it also excels in light winds with its infinite acceleration and formidable upwind capability.
Which stabilizer?
Combinations:
Ideally, we recommend pairing a Curve H stabilizer with your Curve H front wing, as these two elements are designed for the same purpose and optimized to work in perfect harmony.
However, you can also tailor your stabilizer choices to your preferences. A Curve stabilizer on a Veloce FW will give you a foil that’s carrying, maneuverable, relatively fast, and has excellent glide. Pair a Fluid stabilizer with the Veloce FW, and you’ll have slightly less maneuverability but much more speed while maintaining a strong front foot. Put a Veloce stabilizer on the Veloce FW, and you'll experience the ultimate glide, with a very smooth feel.
Size:
The ideal size will depend on your board, skill level, weight, spot conditions, and front wing.
We’ve calculated all stabilizer and front wing pairs so that, for example, an M is ideal with an M in all models.
But you can also play with the size:
- A larger size (L for FW M) will give you more front foot support, firmer footing, less liveliness, and reduced speed. It's reassuring but less performance-oriented.
- A smaller size (S for FW M) will offer less stability, more responsiveness, greater acceleration, and more radical performance. Highly effective but somewhat unstable.
Note that instability can also be an advantage—for pop, of course, and for surfing to some extent. The positive side of instability is its reactivity. It's up to you to decide if that’s what you’re aiming for.
Equipments
Included equipments:
