Wing Foil Board Lance FSP 2X - 5'6 Second Hand 14312
Description
Program
The coolest board to progress in wing foiling.
Presentation
The Lance offers a unique concept of short but very wide boards to learn wing foiling with ease on a really fun board.
With less than six feet long, the Lance is in the short boards range. This translates into an amazing comfort on land and for transport! On the water too as you don’t have that long nose in front of your feet that slows the board down. The Lance is responsive and reactive.
To maintain great stability, our major focus of attention was the width and the volume distribution. It’s been known for many years from windsurfing that width is the key element in comfort. It’s the width that will make your life easier and make the ride less physical. With the very wide width of the Lance, you have an amazing comfort. On your knees, the board doesn’t roll. It remains stable even in the chop.
Icing on the cake, this width will greatly facilitate the control of the foil at the beginning by keeping the board flat during the speed-up phases. You really feel safer with the foil under control.

Buying guide
Who is it for?
Whether you’re a beginner or just cruising, this is a hassle-free board. It’s smooth and easy, yet very efficient.
Its role is to make your life easier. So a pro will probably find it too big and gentle.
- In wing foiling, the Lance is a super accessible board for a beginner, each size corresponds to a rider size or a desire for comfort.
- In big volume it is easy for SUP foiling, but in small sizes it will be necessary to be in a good physical shape or to be light. And in any case, you need to be able to paddle straight on a very short board.
Why choose the Lance?
The Lance is a pure wing foiling board, short but very stable, 100% dedicated to progression.
Getting started in wing foiling has never been so easy and enjoyable!
What board size?
Beginners in wing foiling must absolutely have a positive volume balance.
Your weight plus the board’s weight must be less than the board’s volume.
Don’t hesitate to take some volume and width if you’re not sure of your support or not an athletic person.
To be comfortable, we recommend that you take a volume of around your weight + 30 = volume.
Examples for a 7kg board and different sizes:
- 1/I weigh 50 kg + 30 = 80L to be easy. Which means that with a 105L 5’6 I would be very comfortable, but without excess. The minimum to float is: 50kg + 7kg = 57L.
- 2/ I weigh 70 kg + 30 = 100L to be easy. Which means that with a 120L 5’7 I would be very comfortable, but without excess. The minimum to float is: 70kg + 7kg = 77L
- 3/ I weigh 85 kg + 30 = 115L to be easy. Which means that with a 135L 5’8 I would be very comfortable but without excess. The minimum to float is: 85kg + 7kg = 92L.
- 4/ I weigh 100kg + 30 = 130L to be easy. Which means that with a 150L 5’9 I would be comfortable but without excess. The minimum to float is: 100kg + 7kg = 107L.
In wing foiling, you can take a board with a generous volume if you are a beginner.

Understanding the GONG range?
The concept of each board of the range can be summed up very simply:
- HIPE LEARN: the inflatable wing board for learning.
- HIPE FIRST: the perfect inflatable wing board for beginners and progression.
- HIPE PERF: the inflatable board with 95% of the performance of rigid baords in an easy and scalable shape.
- HIPE FREE FLY: the best strapless inflatable foil board.
- HIPE STUNT: the inflatable board for surfing/freestyle scoring.
- HIPE LETHAL: the must-have inflatable board for wave riding.

- MOB 2TASTE: three sports in one board: SUP, SUP foiling and wing foiling.
- ZUMA: the easy rigid board for SUP foiling and wing foiling, and with good performance.
- LANCE: the compact Zuma, with great lateral stability, ideal for beginnings in wing foiling.
- CRUZADER POINT: fantastic in SUP downwinders, pumping on the flat, but also in light wind conditions for wing foiling, freefly, surfing, etc…
- CRUZADER DIAMOND: compact and easy to paddle shape for downwind SUPing. In wing foiling it’s ideal for light wind conditions, surfing and downwinders.
- FLINT: high performance in SUP foiling, really cool for wing foiling because it is simple, stable and efficient. All in one.
- MINT: absolute efficiency and ease thanks to its glide. A first-class wing board for take offs in a versatile shape geared towards surfing and freeride.
- LEMON: top-notch responsiveness and liveliness in surfing, high performance in freestyle, great stability and lots of glide.

Equipments
ADS System
A FCS II box under the nose to clip a fin stops the drift. It’s really easier to hold a trajectory. And you can simply remove it without any tools. You are free to use it or not, depending on your needs. We love this little extra that makes it easier for you to get started before your first flights. You can sail relaxed, in 6/8 knots of wind, and work on maneuvers on the water before doing them in the air.
The set of footstraps is offered with the board. S 2023 we have reviewed the outline of our straps to further improve comfort. Developed for wing foiling, these straps with less cover do not bend when put on.
More rigid, they offer a more precise steering but are still as comfortable. There is less surface area on the feet so there is less risk of staying stuck in the straps or banging your foot on the edge of the strap when rushing into it. It also allows better leeward control (tip of the foot) and therefore a more natural attitude in wing foiling.
We have worked on every detail to improve your experience on the water.
The V-shaped footstraps perfectly center the foot on the front of the board. The position is thus more natural and allows direct and precise control in maneuvers.

Since 2023, our SCS system launched on the HIPE is integrated on all our foil boards. It’s beautiful, efficient and above all it saves time you can spend on the water. With its 4 entries, the GONG double entry box facilitates the assembly and adjustment of the foil. Performance without the hassle. We leave the nuts and the screws on the plate, just insert the foil, screw and off we go! Setting up the foil is much faster and easier. It is the plug and play solution which facilitates adjustments! (inserts not supplied with the board).

A handle developed by our R&D and our ergonomics engineer has been integrated into our boards this year. We can better close our hands in it: a firmer and more comfortable grip. The depressurization screw is directly integrated into the handle.
It is placed on the hull to allow one-handed carrying. You can have the wing and the paddle in the other hand to get past the whitewater or to get out of the water. And as we always do things seriously, the handle is placed in a block of hydrophobic PVC foam and covered with fiber.

The top-of-the-range 5mm thick hard brush integral pad provides maximum grip and comfort when sailing, while protecting the board from shocks. This year we have changed the grooving to provide even more comfort and more grip. This hard brush pad sublimates the board. This flat pad provides absolute comfort and a magical grip with more precision. This is obvious on long sessions: the feet are less tired.
The central front fin Anti Drift System axes the board as if it was on rails, but without ever hindering the ability to take angle in the curves.
