FSP 2X Technology

Key Points

  • Full PVC / fiberglass sandwich construction on the deck, hull, and rails.
  • Strong, lightweight, hydrophobic 3 mm high-density PVC sandwich core.
  • Laminate comprising 2 layers of 4 oz fiberglass + 1 layer of 6 oz biaxial fiberglass on the deck and hull.
  • Built using successive vacuum-bagging stages to control sandwich bonding and final weight.
  • EPS core + epoxy resin to combine light weight, strength, and repairability.
  • Foil reinforcement with a high-density PVC block housing both US Boxes and the handle.
  • 4 layers of carbon around the boxes, with the box area connected to the deck by laminated PVC stringers.
  • Targeted carbon reinforcements at the footstrap inserts, under the heels, and across the standing area.
  • Full PVC sandwich extending around the rails to reinforce the structure and improve impact resistance.
  • Integrally pigmented hot coat and hand-applied matte Custom Finish.
  • Construction designed to deliver an excellent balance of weight, strength, performance, and durability.

FSP 2X: performance full sandwich

FSP 2X is our high-end construction designed to deliver an excellent balance of controlled weight, strength, and performance.

Its architecture is built around a full PVC / fiberglass sandwich that wraps the deck, hull, and rails. The 3 mm high-density PVC foam forms a stiff, strong shell around the EPS core, distributing loads more effectively while reducing compression.

Combined with biaxial fiberglass and vacuum-bagged manufacturing, this construction delivers a durable, high-performance, repairable board.

A precisely reproduced shape

Each board is developed in 3D using modeling software, then CNC pre-shaped to precisely reproduce the intended volume distribution, rocker, and curves.

The shape is then checked using traditional templates before the final adjustments are made entirely by hand.

A full PVC sandwich

At the heart of FSP 2X technology is a 3 mm high-density PVC foam sandwich covering the deck, hull, and rails.

On both the deck and hull, it is combined with two layers of 4 oz fiberglass and one layer of 6 oz biaxial fiberglass. This combination creates a uniform shell that resists compression and repeated loads while keeping weight carefully controlled.

The various stages are carried out under vacuum to optimize bonding, fiber compaction, and the amount of resin used.

Targeted reinforcements in critical areas

The foil mounting area features a high-density PVC block housing both US tracks and the handle. Four layers of carbon reinforce the boxes, while laminated PVC stringers connect them to the deck to distribute loads more effectively throughout the structure.

Carbon reinforcements are also added around the footstrap inserts, under the heels, and across the standing area.

The goal is simple: use the highest-performance materials only where loads are greatest.

Built to last and perform

FSP 2X combines the stiffness of a full PVC sandwich with the forgiving response of fiberglass.

This combination delivers a board that is strong enough for intensive use, responsive on the water, and light enough to retain all the shape’s qualities.

This construction is designed for riders looking for more performance and technology, without sacrificing durability or repairability.

The FSP 2X DNA

A lightweight EPS core.
A full 3 mm PVC sandwich.
Strong, forgiving fiberglass.
Vacuum-bagging stages to control construction quality and weight.
A foil mounting area structurally connected to the deck.
Targeted carbon reinforcement in high-stress areas.

FSP 2X is built around a clear architecture: a full sandwich shell, strategically placed reinforcements, and a precise process to optimize the balance of weight, strength, and performance.
