3K Carbon Texalium Purple Clear Finish and Post-Molding Precision
The 3K Carbon Texalium Purple Clear finish is the visual signature of the Pro Team Series. It highlights the wing's carbon structure with a highly technical, striking, and instantly recognizable appearance.
Our new manufacturing facility enables us to produce our own prepregs. We have therefore developed a dedicated 3K carbon prepreg in which a purple Texalium thread is woven directly into the carbon fabric. The color is not painted onto the finished part, it is an integral part of the composite material itself.
The result is unique: a vibrant metallic purple with iridescent reflections that shift depending on viewing angle and lighting conditions. Under direct sunlight, low-angle light, or changing orientations, the foil reveals different depths, highlights, and color intensity. It is a dynamic, highly technical, premium finish unlike anything else.
This finish is considerably more demanding than paint because it hides nothing. The quality of the layup, fiber orientation, weave consistency, Texalium integration, surface finish, and final clear coat must all meet exceptionally high standards. An exposed carbon finish requires uncompromising manufacturing precision and visual perfection.
After molding, every part undergoes an extremely precise finishing process in dedicated clean-room environments, where raw molded components are transformed into finished products meeting the exacting V3 Atmo standard. Trailing edges, surface finish, transition areas, radii, and connection interfaces are carefully refined and individually inspected.
This stage is critical. A thin, perfectly consistent trailing edge reduces parasitic drag, noise, vibration, and efficiency losses. On a hydrofoil, these details have a direct impact on the rider's feel on the water.
With the 3K Carbon Texalium Purple Clear finish, the level of craftsmanship required is even higher. Because the composite structure remains fully visible, there is no room for imperfections. The carbon weave, the purple Texalium thread, surface uniformity, and clear finish must all work together to produce a component that is simultaneously high-performing, technically expressive, and visually exceptional.
The Purple Clear finish therefore contributes not only to the distinctive identity of the Pro Team Series, but also to its overall performance philosophy. It demands a more rigorous manufacturing process, showcases the underlying carbon architecture, complements the most advanced wing designs in the range, and pairs perfectly with our premium titanium and anodized aluminum components in rainbow and iridescent finishes.
