Stop #1 in Torvaianica (Rome): Starting on the podium
The championship kicked off in Torvaianica, near Rome, where Francesco secured a solid 3rd place overall against a highly competitive fleet.
A strong opening result that laid the foundations for the rest of the season and confirmed his pace among the country's top riders.
Stop #2 in Gizzeria: A commanding performance
The second stop of the championship took place in Gizzeria, Calabria, with three days of ideal racing conditions ranging from 15 to 25 knots.
More than 30 riders lined up on the start line, including several athletes competing regularly on the international circuit. Over the course of the event, 14 races were completed across a mix of short-course and long-distance formats.
Francesco delivered an outstanding performance, claiming victory in 11 races and finishing second in the remaining three. This remarkable consistency allowed him to dominate the overall standings and secure a convincing win.
On the equipment side, Francesco felt perfectly dialed throughout the event, racing mainly on his Pulse Race 7.0, Racer 5'8, and Hyper Race 5.40 setup. Only during the strongest day, with winds reaching 25 knots, did he switch to the Pulse Race 5.5.
The result confirmed the effectiveness of his latest training block and provided excellent confidence heading into the upcoming international events.

Stop #3 in Pantelleria: Back on top
The third stop brought the fleet to the stunning island of Pantelleria, where riders enjoyed perfect racing conditions for a full day of competition.
Francesco once again secured the overall victory, making it two consecutive wins in the Italian Championship.
Beyond the racing, the event was also an opportunity to discover one of the Mediterranean's most unique destinations, with two additional days spent exploring the island and enjoying its incredible atmosphere.
A special thanks goes to the organizers, volunteers, and the Circolo Velico Pantelleria team for delivering another outstanding event.

The next stop takes place this weekend in Campione del Garda, one of Italy's most iconic wind sports venues. With five events on the calendar and the overall championship standings based on each rider's four best results of the season, the battle for the national title remains wide open.
Later this summer, Francesco will also return to Gizzeria for the World Cup circuit, where the world's best riders will once again meet on the international stage.
Congratulations Francesco for this excellent start to the season and for another impressive display of speed, consistency, and racecraft.
