A light wind setup with an 890cm² foil is totally doable with some experience, as Adrien shows us, backed by the incredible Cruzader Point LW FSP Pro.

Cruzader Point LW 5'9 + Foil V3 (HM85 mast 14mm/Veloce HM 890cm²/Veloce S stab 113cm²) + Droid Aramid X 5'5.

Wind 8/10 knots with gusts up to 12, rider 70kg.

I was a bit doubtful ordering a 890cm² foil for light wind. It seemed really small. I was worried it’d be tough to get off the water and, especially, to keep flying in the lulls. But man, it’s a GAME-CHANGER! Takes off super early, glides like a dream, pumps effortlessly, and just keeps accelerating! Absolutely amazing. 😍

Paired with the Veloce H 113cm² stab (I love having a stab with no lift that totally frees up your FW) and, of course, a board (Cruzader Point LW) that just glides beautifully.
