The advantage of SUP foiling

“This morning, the session was just PERFECT!! 😍

This morning’s session...pretty much alone—only two surfers far away, no one in the parking lot, and a light 3-4 knot offshore breeze making the lineup super clean. Waves were 50-80cm, shutting down fast unless taken from way out!

With a SUP, the real advantage is catching waves from far out, right on the swell, and with the NOTW, it’s almost too easy... The board picks up speed and glides effortlessly, no resistance at all! You get in early and make the most of the wave all the way to the end!

Glide and control

“I’ve had some challenging sessions with a few imperfect reconnections, and what stands out the most is the hull—when it makes contact with the water during pumping or maneuvers, it just skims over without dragging, keeping almost all its speed!

The deck is super comfortable and ultra-rigid, with the new pad offering incredible grip! Sometimes you lose balance, the board tilts 30° in the water, yet you still manage to hold on and recover! 😀”

The maneuverability of the Curve H

“I worked on my reconnections, prioritizing the steepest waves rather than the farthest ones. Even with the Curve XL-H, the turning is sharp, with a few tip breaches for extra fun!

Bottom line: pure stoke! I’ll gladly take my NOTW out in these conditions again... Plus, over 10 km in less than an hour—talk about maximizing the session!😀”
