Lance FSP 2X 2026
The Lance offers a unique concept of short but very wide boards to learn wing easily on a really fun board.
At less than six feet long, the Lance is a short board. It's truly comfortable on land and in transit! And it's also comfortable on the water! There's no long nose in front of your feet that makes the board sleepy. The Lance is lively and responsive.
To maintain great stability, we focused on width and perfectly distributed volume. We've known for years in windsurfing, for example, that width is the key element for comfort. It's what will simplify your life and make sailing less physical. With the Lance's very wide width, you have incredible comfort. On your knees, the board doesn't roll. Even in choppy water, it remains stable.
The icing on the cake is that this width will greatly facilitate your control of the foil at the beginning by keeping the board flat during acceleration phases. You really feel safer with a foil under control.

Buying guide
For whom?
For beginner to intermediate riders looking for a pack that allows them to start and progress peacefully.
For what ?
It really is the easiest pack in the world, without being an anvil. It's great for boosting your progress. The width of the LANCE really helps you to be stable and its compactness to be dynamic.
Which ?
LANCE or ZUMA:
- The stability of the Lance
The shape of the Lance is distinguished mainly by its compactness. A shape that is relatively short for a board intended for beginners but quite wide which gives it a lot of stability out of flight. This is a considerable gain in comfort for learning to sail flat on the water and for easily getting back on the board in the event of a fall, particularly on choppy waters. For a complete beginner in board sports, acquiring perfect mastery of off-air navigation is the key. This knowledge in your pocket, the speed will make you take off naturally.
During flight phases, its compactness limits its inertia which helps you learn your first jibes, turns and jumps. This is the whole concept of the Lance: A board that is easy to fly but whose compactness brings you closer to the very fun sensations of a more technical board like a Mint or a Lemon as soon as you take off.
- The Zuma slide
The Zuma is a board with a more elongated and narrower shape. It enjoys beautiful gliding on the water, like a longboard that can be launched on a wave with very little energy. It accelerates at the slightest gust which favors takeoff. We lose a little in out-of-flight stability compared to a Lance but its speed quickly puts you on a rail.
In addition, the shape of the Zuma, with clear accelerations, allows users to SUP to do their first take offs on a foil. By completing your quiver with a suitable mast (a 65 Alu mast or an HM 70 mast), the Zuma can expand your practice to SUP foil. Particularly with the help of the ADS fin placed under the front third of the board. This hand-removable FCS II fin, also present on the Lance, limits drift in non-flight navigation by wing, and limits the row effect in SUP foil. An effect which is all the more important as your board is shorter than your board. SUP usual.

What size?
THE BOARD

Beginners in wing absolutely must have a positive volume balance.
Your weight plus that of the board should be less than the volume of the board.
Don’t hesitate to add a little volume and width if you are unsure of your support or not sporty.
To be comfortable, we advise you to take a volume of the order of your weight + 30 = volume.
Examples for a 7kg board and different sizes:
- 1/ I weigh 50kg + 30 = 80L to be easy. Which means that with a 5’6 and 105L I would be very comfortable but without excess. The minimum to float is: 50kg + 7kg = 57L.
- 2/ I weigh 70kg + 30 = 100L to be easy. Which means that with a 5’7 and 120L I would be very comfortable but without excess. The minimum to float is: 70kg + 7kg = 77L.
- 3/ I weigh 85kg + 30 = 115L to be easy. Which means that with a 5’8 and 135L I would be very comfortable but without excess. The minimum to float is: 85kg + 7kg = 92L.
- 4/ I weigh 100kg + 30 = 130L to be easy. Which means that with a 5’9 and 150L I would be comfortable but without excess. The minimum to float is: 100kg + 7kg = 107L.
In wing, you can take it very generously if you are starting out.
THE WING
THE FOIL
The choice of size depends on weight, level, support, wind or power available, type of board and progression goal.
In wingfoiling, all sizes can work. The heavier the rider, the weaker the wind or the smaller the board, the more surface area must be increased. Conversely, a lightweight rider, already comfortable taking off or sailing in steady winds, may choose a smaller size to gain maneuverability and speed.
In surf foiling and SUPfoiling, you have to find the right balance between lift on take-off and maneuverability in the wave. A larger wing gives more comfort for going early and pumping. A smaller kite turns more easily and becomes more pleasant when the level rises or when the waves push harder.
In dockstart, we favor a large surface area to facilitate departure and maintain flight at low speed. As you progress, you can reduce the surface area to gain speed and dynamism, but the X-Over will remain a versatile option rather than a wing dedicated to pure pumping.
In kitefoiling, you must avoid very large wingspans. The speed of the kite and the counter-heel make wings that are too wide more technical, with a greater risk of popping out a tip. The small sizes of X-Over are therefore the most relevant for learning.
If you are unsure between two sizes, choose the larger one to learn more easily, take off earlier and keep more margin at low speed. The smallest will be logical if the level is already good, if the conditions are more powerful or if the objective is to gain maneuverability.
As an optional option, we offer:
For your safety:
- HELMET and IMPACT JACKET : to protect you in the event of a fall and allow you to progress safely.
