The Ultra Trail V3 Atmo Pro Team Series is the super high aspect carbon front wing dedicated to extreme long-distance pumping, absolute records, and high-efficiency dockstart. Its goal is simple: maximize glide, reduce energy losses, and transform every impulse into distance with the highest level of efficiency in the Trail range.

It is positioned above the Supra Trail in terms of pure distance logic. The Supra is the long-distance sweet spot: highly performant, very gliding, yet still easy to exploit for an experienced pump foiler. The Ultra goes further in demand: more ratio, more glide, more potential distance, but also more precision, more span to manage, and much less maneuverability.

Its aspect ratio of 17.7 places it in the super high ratio category. This extreme ratio transforms the wing into an absolute pumping glider: very little drag, maximum hydrodynamic finesse, exceptional speed retention, and the ability to transform each pump into gained meters.

Its very elongated outline maximizes efficiency, while its centered surface brings the lift closer to the mast and supports. On such a wide wing, this is essential: the foil remains more readable, energy transfer is better, and each movement becomes more profitable.

The advanced tips reduce induced drag and free up oscillations during pumping. The foil slows down less in pitch variations, better retains its inertia, and allows for a smoother cadence over very long distances.

The profile is fast, very gliding, and highly efficient. It retains speed, reduces energy expenditure with each movement, and maintains real stall tolerance for such an extreme wing. The Ultra Trail does not become easy for that matter: it rewards precision, consistency, and clean pumping.

The almost flat, slightly negative anhedral maximizes lift under load and the efficiency of each impulse. The slightly raised tips boost lift to the end, limit losses at the wingtip, and clarify behavior in tip out.

The Pro Team Series construction in 3K Texalium Purple clear carbon is essential on a wing with such an extreme ratio. The high modulus layup and structural locking transmit support without parasitic flex, maintain the working profile, and provide a more precise foil over time.

The Ultra Trail is not a wing for sailing with a rig, nor a downwind wing. Its DNA is extreme long-distance pumping. A specialist wing, designed to transform technique, cardio, and consistency into kilometers, and then into records.

Ratio of 17.7

The Ultra Trail adopts an aspect ratio of 17.7 to maximise glide, drastically reduce drag, and maintain speed over very long pumping phases. It's the super high ratio of the Trail range, designed for maximum distance.

This extreme ratio transforms each individual impulse into metres gained. The wing glides far, retains its inertia, and significantly lowers the energy cost of each pump, provided you maintain the right cadence.

The Ultra Trail doesn't aim for the manoeuvrability of the Hyper or the accessibility of the Supra. It pushes efficiency to the maximum for riders capable of exploiting a very elongated wing.

Outline for breaking records

The elongated outline of the Ultra Trail maximises hydrodynamic finesse, speed retention, and efficiency over long distances. Every detail aims to reduce repeated losses that are costly in extreme pumping.

The surface is centred and brought closer to the mast to keep lift near the supports. On such an elongated wing, this point is fundamental: the foil remains more readable underfoot and the energy transfers better into the wing.

This placement improves energy transfer during pumping. Less dispersion, more response, more distance: the Ultra Trail is designed to convert the rider's precision into efficiency.

Advanced tips

The advanced tips reduce induced drag and release oscillations during pumping. The foil slows down less in pitch variations and better maintains its inertia.

It also retains a high stall tolerance for such an extreme wing. When fatigue sets in, cadence slightly drops, or the stance becomes less perfect, the wing remains stable for its intended use.

Almost flat anhedral

The anhedral of the Ultra Trail is almost flat, slightly negative, to maximize lift under load, glide, and the efficiency of each impulse. The wing offers maximum effective surface in the direction of lift.

This geometry concentrates the rider's energy into progression rather than unnecessary control. The goal is to minimize losses and maintain a high average speed.

The modernized anhedral works the tips with slightly raised tips to boost lift to the end, limit losses at the wingtip, and clarify behavior in tip out.

Pro Team Series carbon construction

SuperLock Self-Locking System

The V3 SuperLock self-locking connection has been engineered to ensure a perfect fit between the front wing and the fuselage, even after countless hours on the water. The greater the load applied to the front wing, the more securely the connection mechanically locks itself into the fuselage.

This design delivers a direct improvement in stiffness, precision, and silent operation. The foil remains perfectly secure, with no unwanted play, even under heavy loads during carving, pumping, acceleration, powerful turns, or hard landings. Rider input is transmitted more efficiently, steering becomes more precise, and the feeling underfoot remains consistent.

The connection requires only two screws beneath the front wing. Assembly is faster, simpler, and more user-friendly for everyday use. Wings can be swapped in just moments without multiplying screws or complicating the setup.

The locking angle has been carefully engineered to combine maximum engagement under load with effortless disassembly after the session. Even after an intense ride, the front wing can be removed from the fuselage easily.

This self-locking concept has already proven itself over several years across our V3 foil platform. It is a genuine mechanical advantage: simple, fast, rigid, reliable, and built to last.

Pro Team Series High-Modulus Carbon

The V3 Atmo Team Series front wings feature a premium carbon construction with a 3K Texalium Purple Clear carbon finish that showcases the wing's structure. Compared to fiberglass construction, this technology delivers greater stiffness, faster response, and higher precision, while maintaining outstanding durability.

The TORAY M40J high-modulus carbon fiber used in our layups offers exceptional mechanical properties, particularly in terms of Young's modulus and tensile strength. Combined with intermediate-modulus fibers and carefully engineered layup schedules, it reinforces the structure exactly where the wing needs it most: bending, torsion, connection points, carving loads, pumping, acceleration, and repeated high-load stress.

This increased stiffness has a direct impact on the ride. Inputs are transmitted more immediately, the foil responds with greater precision, and less energy is lost through structural flex. Every pump becomes more efficient. Every carve feels more connected. At high speeds, the foil remains more stable, delivering a cleaner, more controlled feel.

The Ultra Trail V3 Atmo Pro Team Series is designed for expert riders who have already mastered dockstart and long-distance pumping, and who aim for absolute records.

It is made for specialists, those with strong endurance, competitors, and pumpers who want to exploit the highest performance of the Trail range. One does not choose an Ultra Trail to discover glide: it is chosen to seek the maximum.

It appeals to riders who find the Supra Trail already very performant but want to go further in pure distance, even if it means accepting more demands, more scope, and much less maneuverability.

To avoid if…

The Ultra Trail is not made for learning pumping. To discover dockstart, understand the rhythm, and make your first flights, the Trail or the Trail Team will be much more suitable.

It is also not the most logical choice for breaking your first personal records with real ease. For this program, the Supra Trail will be more accessible, more friendly, and simpler to exploit.

It is not made for carving, playing between buoys, or varying trajectories. If your priority is fun pumping, slalom, or fast accelerations, the Hyper Trail will be more coherent.

This is not a front wing designed for navigation with a rig. In wing foiling or lowkite, it will fly, but that is not its program. It is not made to replace a Veloce or a Sirus.

It is not made for downwind. Its DNA is extreme long-distance pumping, not reading swells, bumps, or downwind trajectories.

For what?

The Ultra Trail V3 Atmo Pro Team Series is made for extreme long-distance pumping. Its job is to minimize losses, stabilize a high average speed, and transform the rider's consistency into kilometers.

In dockstart, it requires skill to launch. It can start very efficiently with the right rider, the right setup, and the right size, but it is not designed to secure starts. Once properly launched, it allows for smoothing the effort, maintaining an effective cadence, and pushing distances.

In flat start, it can work with a very high level, an adapted board, and a coherent size, keeping in mind that this discipline is very difficult and requires a large board, which is somewhat against the nature of such an ultimate foil. Its DNA remains long-distance pumping launched from a dock, with a rider capable of maintaining their rhythm.

It is made to aim high: ambitious personal records, long distances, constant cadence, energy efficiency, and maximum performance. It is a wing of rhythm, precision, and consistency.

What size?

The choice of size depends on weight, skill level, explosiveness at the start, natural cadence, and distance goal.

Choosing a larger size allows for more lift, more margin at the start, and more comfort when the cadence drops. It is the logical choice for heavier riders or for aiming at distance with less explosive pumping.

Choosing an intermediate size provides the best balance between lift, average speed, performance, and control. It is often the most coherent choice to exploit the Ultra Trail without making it unnecessarily physical.

Choosing a smaller size allows for gaining in average speed and pure performance. It requires more precision, more rhythm, and more energy at the start, but it will suit lighter, very dynamic, or expert riders.

If hesitating between two sizes, choose the larger one to secure the start and last longer. Choose the smaller one only if your skill level, build, and cadence justify less surface area.

Which tail wing?

The Ultra Trail V3 Atmo Pro Team Series ideally pairs with an Ultra Trail tail wing, designed for the same program: extreme pumping, very long distance, maximum performance, and stable cadence.

This combo offers a coherent foil: enough lift to last, enough stability to maintain rhythm, and enough glide to reduce the energy cost of each pump.

A more stable tail wing will provide more stability, more support, and more comfort when fatigue sets in. It is the most reassuring choice to exploit the wing over long distances.

The right Ultra Trail setup is the one that allows maintaining a clean cadence for a long time, without breaking rhythm, with the necessary performance to transform each effort into gained meters.

No. It already requires excellent mastery of dock start and long-distance pumping. To learn the basics, choose a Trail or a Trail Team. The Ultra Trail is for when you're aiming for extreme performance and absolute records.

What is the difference between Supra Trail and Ultra Trail?

Is the Ultra Trail reserved for experts?

Yes, definitely. It's aimed at riders who already know how to dock start, pump for long periods, and maintain a steady rhythm. It's stable for its program, but its extreme ratio requires a real level of skill.

Can the Ultra Trail be used in wing foiling or lowkite?

Technically yes, it will fly. But that's not its intended use. It's designed for extreme long-distance pumping, not for riding with a rig. For wing foiling or lowkite, a Veloce, a Sirus, or a dedicated wing will be more suitable.

Can the Ultra Trail be used for downwind?
