Overview

The Acidolly is the performance mini longboard that keeps the spirit, glide and style of a longboard, but in a more compact, more playful and easier to commit format.

It delivers that unique modern longboard feel: paddle power, glide, fluid carves and the ability to go for noserides, with far less bulk under your feet.

Its compact format gives it real character. You can place it more easily, pivot it faster and commit with more confidence when the waves get punchier. It keeps the enjoyment of a bigger board, but with far greater freedom of movement.

Accessible for kids and lighter surfers progressing, it also remains very appealing for experienced surfers who want a short, stylish and high-performance board to mix up their surfing.

In softer waves, the Acidolly is still ultra fun. It gets going early, glides easily and instantly makes you want to vary your lines, move forward, step back and play with the wave.

It’s a complete, fun and stylish board, capable of making small sessions easier, while also keeping up when it’s time to surf harder. Longboard feel, compact freedom, and real performance potential.

OUTLINE

The outline follows the codes of a modern longboard, with a buoyant nose and plenty of glide, but in a shorter, more manoeuvrable format. This reduced length limits bulk, makes positioning easier and gives the board a much more playful feel underfoot.

The centred wide point balances the board between stability, paddling and manoeuvrability. You keep the comfort needed to get going early and move forward on the board, while still retaining enough responsiveness to vary your lines.

ROCKER

The rocker is more lifted than on a classic longboard to deliver maximum manoeuvrability. The board turns more easily, handles tighter carves and stays lively underfoot, even with a glide platform inspired by the longboard.

This rocker also gives you more margin when the wave gets more solid. The board fits more easily into the curve, keeps its control and lets you commit with more confidence than a bigger, more cumbersome board.

BOTTOM SHAPE

The nose spoon adds control when you move forward on the board. It stabilises the front end, smooths out the ride and gives you more confidence to lock in noserides in small to mid-sized waves.

At the tail, the double concave V makes rail-to-rail transitions easier while maintaining speed. The board stays fluid, fast and easy to roll from one rail to the other, with a more modern, more precise feel.

TAIL

The round tail delivers a smooth, progressive and very fluid ride. It lets you link carves naturally, maintain speed and stay in control of the board with no break in the transitions.

Its compact shape lets you move your back foot well over the tail to pivot the board. You get real ability to turn tight, build speed and vary your lines, while keeping the smooth spirit of a mini longboard.

RAILS

The rails are sharper through the tail to bring grip, control and precision through carves. They let you push harder through your turns, hold your line and stay composed when you really start to commit.

Further forward, the rails become more rounded and forgiving to keep things smooth, comfortable and easy-gliding. The slightly domed deck keeps volume through the centre while thinning out the rails for added performance.

Single Tab connection: simple, direct and solid

The Single Tab system features a single, extended base on each fin. This design creates a solid connection with the fin box, making installation simple, fin changes quick, and power transfer exceptionally direct.

On the water, the benefits are immediate. The board responds instantly, the fins work without unwanted play, and every input translates into drive, grip and control. This is especially valuable on high performance boards, where precise feedback is essential at high speeds and through committed turns.

The Single Tab system also makes it easy to fine tune your setup for different conditions. Changing fin size, template or flex lets you refine the board's feel in just a few moments. It provides a clean, durable and efficient connection, allowing you to unlock the full potential of the shape.

Good to know: Single Tab fin boxes are only compatible with Single Tab fins.

100% epoxy resin construction over a 28 kg/m³ EPS foam blank with a 3 mm wooden stringer.
Deck layup: 2 layers of 6 oz fiberglass and 1 layer of 4 oz fiberglass.
Bottom layup: 1 layer of 6 oz fiberglass, 1 layer of 4 oz fiberglass, plus an additional 4 oz fiberglass reinforcement patch covering the tail and fin box area.
CNC pre-shaped, checked against traditional templates, then finished entirely by hand.
Matte finish for better glide, improved scratch resistance and a competition-inspired look.
Easy to restore to like-new condition after dings.

Who is it for?

What board size?

Choose the Acidolly with the idea of keeping a compact, refined and high-performance board.

What are the ideal waves?

The Acidolly works very well in small to medium, clean and mellow waves, where its paddling, supportive nose and glide make every session easier.

But it is not limited to easy waves. Its compact format, more lifted rocker and precise rails also let it be pushed in more solid waves. So it can go from fun small waves to more powerful conditions, with a natural preference for clean, glassy waves.

Which construction?

In PU, the Acidolly delivers smooth, settled glide and a very connected feel to the wave. It is the ideal choice if you want a classic longboard feel, with inertia, control and fluid handling.

In EPS, it becomes lighter, livelier and more responsive. This is the construction to choose to maximise speed build-up, ease in small conditions and the playful side of the shape.

What fin setup?

The Acidolly can be tuned to match the feel you are after thanks to its central US box and two side fins.

As a single, it prioritises glide, smoothness, style and longboard sensations. It is the most fluid setup for relaxed surfing, moving forward on the board and chasing glide.

In 2+1, the side fins add hold, control and more precision under the back foot. This is the setup to choose if you want to push harder through carves, surf more committed and keep a more modern feel.

Which shape should you choose?

Choose the Acidolly if you want a compact mini longboard that paddles easily, glides for a long time, turns tighter than a classic longboard and delivers real noseride sensations.

Go for a classic longboard if your priority is pure noseriding, cross-steps and traditional glide all the way through.

Go for a shorter, more radical board if you are only looking for explosive manoeuvres.

These boards come equipped with a leash plug, a central US Box and 2 Single Tab side fin boxes for a single or 2+1 setup.

Depending on what you want, your build, the conditions and your surfing style, you can fine-tune the board’s feel with different GONG fibreglass fins compatible with US Box and Single Tab.

The single setup uses only the centre fin. The 2+1 setup adds two side fins.
