Liner Thruster Fins Set - ST Box
Program
A fin designed for drive and dynamic projection, combining long lines, release, and flow through controlled flex.
Presentation
The Liner is a fin designed for surfers seeking both drive, projection, and responsiveness under the back foot. Its raked template naturally promotes long, committed lines, while its flex adds extra release, creating a dynamic, almost elastic feel.
Unlike a very stiff fin, the Liner stores energy through compression during the turn and releases it on exit, allowing acceleration without excessive effort. The board feels more fluid and “lively”, with natural transitions and easy re-engagement out of turns.
It excels in wave faces with wall, where long carving lines can be drawn while maintaining speed. Its behavior remains controlled yet maneuverable, less locked-in than a purely drive-oriented fin. Suitable for performance shortboards, modern mid-lengths, or fast boards, it blends fluid style, speed, and projection without sacrificing control.
Template
Raked template designed to favor long lines and projection. The integrated flex allows energy storage through turns and release on exit, delivering a lively and dynamic surfing feel.

Base
Moderate base, wide enough to generate drive while remaining refined enough to maintain freedom through transitions and avoid locking the board.

Depth
Intermediate depth providing a balanced compromise between hold, maneuverability, and flow. It ensures stable control while keeping the board lively underfoot.

Surface area
Well-balanced surface area with refined tips, reducing drag while ensuring hold and release through powerful turns.

Setup
The thruster setup is a reference for surfers seeking a balance between control, speed, and maneuverability. The center fin provides line hold and stability through turns, while the side fins enhance drive and engagement during direction changes. This setup delivers reliable and versatile performance, suited both to committed maneuvers and more technical sections, across a wide range of conditions.

Buying guide
Who is it for?
The Liner is aimed at surfers who like projection. It suits intermediate to advanced riders. It is ideal for those who want to generate speed out of turns and surf with flow. It allows you to connect sections smoothly. It remains high-performing without being overly demanding. This is a fin for fast and stylish surfing.
What is it for?
The Liner in thruster setup is a fin oriented toward dynamic projection. It works particularly well on performance shortboards and fast boards. Its raked template, combined with controlled flex, helps generate drive out of turns. It allows you to surf fast, connect sections, and keep a very lively feel. Ideal for waves with wall where you can fully use the length of the wave with committed carves.
What size?

Fin size mainly depends on the following factors:
- body weight
- surfer’s style
- board volume
- surf conditions
A heavier or more powerful surfer will need larger fins to maintain enough surface in the water for grip and control.
A lighter surfer can use smaller fins to reduce drag and make the board more maneuverable.
Surf style also plays an important role. A surfer who prioritizes quick turns and short transitions may choose slightly smaller fins for more responsiveness. A surfer who drives hard through turns or rides powerful waves will benefit from larger fins for stability and projection.
In general:
- Larger = more grip and control
- Smaller = more speed and maneuverability
The more voluminous the board, the more fin surface is needed to control it.
Finally, conditions also influence the choice. In small or soft waves, slightly smaller fins help generate more speed.
Whereas in fast or hollow waves, larger fins provide more grip and security in critical sections.
In summary, the right size is the one that balances speed, control, and maneuverability depending on the surfer, the board, and the waves.
Equipments
The set includes two side fins (right and left) and one center fin.
It comes with a fin key for installation.
