Ultra maneuverable, fast and forgiving at low speed and in pumping, this is an incredibly complete and versatile stab.

The superior freedom of movement it provides on all axes boosts your level of performance. Ideal for maneuvers and freestyle, this is the ideal stab for fast and radical surfing. Even in a straight line, this maneuverable stab will perform better because you can place your foil with precision and responsiveness in the chop.

With its excellent, and very predictable glide, you can fly high on swell bumps, when surfing, or in a straight line, really high! It is so stable that breaching is no longer an issue. And because it’s small, you can glide like never before.

When pumping, this stab works at a high pace and thus speed to enjoy a dynamic ride when dock starting, connect waves full speed, or easily pick up speed on waves.

In this Fiber Glass version, you get all the benefits of this design in a more accessible technology.

OUTLINE

The Fluid H FG stab has an aspect ratio of 8.3, providing the best compromise between lift, glide and maneuverability.

The outline centers lift and narrows sharply at the tips to maximize rail-to-tail performance. The tips are slightly set back to shift the center of lift of the stab, giving it better leverage on the lower. You can thus reduce the surface of the stab and improve glide without losing comfort.

VERSATILE PROFILE

The profile of the Fluid H FG stab has been optimized to maximize glide at medium and high speeds and to be forgiving at lower speeds. The stab completely releases the foil and provides impressive acceleration.

LOW DIHEDRAL

The dihedral of the Fluid H FG stab is low enough to fully unlock yaw movements. This results in a snappy feel that further enhances responsiveness and maneuverability.

It also maximizes lift and reduces drag, further boosting glide and preventing stalls.

SHORT CONNECTION

The Fluid H FG stab fuselage is of standard length, to keep its playful, highly maneuverable feel while keeping the surface area small to reduce the stab’s drag.

STAB FG TECHNOLOGY

Introducing the FG technology of the Perf Series foils, a state-of-the-art combination of high-quality Biaxial Prepreg fiberglass and a high-density hydrophobic foam core. The outcome: a rigid, forgiving, and incredibly durable structure, ideal for solid and accessible performance.

Engineered in 3D and digitally optimized, each foil is crafted with extreme precision using hydrodynamic and mechanical simulations. Tested by our Pro Team, this range is proven in real conditions to guarantee smooth performance.

Every stage of production is a work of engineering excellence: 5-axis CNC machining, vacuum compression, thermal molding at 150°C, and ultra-precise finishing. The multidirectional, pre-preg fibers ensure optimal flex and torsion control, offering managed rigidity and enhanced durability with a lightweight design.

A more efficient foil shape

One of the key elements in the evolution of this range is the complete redesign of our foils to increase their structural and hydrodynamic qualities.

The V3 fuselage is:

The new round shape allows a 12% gain in glide and the thicker section approaching the stab increases the strength and rigidity of the foil.

Hours of calculations on extremely powerful computers have allowed us to optimize the smallest detail to maximize performance. The fillets of all our connections have been carefully studied and adjusted to minimize hydrodynamic disturbances and increase the rigidity and resistance of the assembly.

SuperLock self-tightening system

The SuperLock self-tightening stab connection has been designed to guarantee perfect tightening even after hours long sessions.

The more pressure you put into the stab, the tighter it fits into the fuselage.

The pressure angle makes it very easy to disassemble the stab, even after long sessions.

This fitting only requires two screws under the stab, which makes changing the front wing easier and faster.

This tightening principle is already validated for several years on our V2 stabs.

A real plus for daily use!

Retro fitting

The entire range, from the fuselage, to the mast, to the front wing and the stab, has been revised to radically boost the performance of our foils, without being limited by our old connection shapes.

However, this choice to change all of our parts could not be considered without continuing to offer compatibility with our old ranges.

We therefore offer a wide choice of fuselages which gives you the freedom to mix all our masts, front wings and stabs, whatever their generation.

For whom?

This is the stabilizer for versatile riders seeking top performance in all situations and conditions.

What is it for?

Maneuverability, versatility and performance balance are at the heart of the development of this stab, which will deliver maximum potential in all situations, whether you’re carving, racing or simply gliding.

Designed specifically for glide, this stab is not intended for jumps or extreme maneuvers. If you're looking to explore air freestyle, we recommend choosing the carbon models.

Which size?

General information on the choice of stab sizes:

The preferred size will depend on your foiling discipline, your level, your weight, the conditions of your spot but also your front wing.

A larger stab will make take-off easier because the foil will generate a significant torque which will tend to give it a significant angle of attack. This also implies more front foot pressure.

A smaller stab will be more technical on takeoff but will boost speed and maneuverability. We also lose some front foot pressure, which means having to move the foil forward in the boxes to regain this stability.

Always adjust the size of the stab to the size of the front wing to obtain a balanced flight and functioning harmony between these two components.
