The AM1 Honeycomb fins, designed by Al Merrick for Channel Islands Surfboards, are designed for average-sized surfers who want a balanced and high-performance setup. Their Rake template allows for long, sweeping turns while maintaining drive, making them particularly well-suited to open waves and point breaks.
In use, they offer a harmonious flex thanks to the Honeycomb construction, combining responsiveness and stability. The wider base of the side fins increases rebound in turns, while the smaller center fin improves maneuverability. The result is a precise and dynamic set that allows you to maintain control even in fast sections of the waves.
