A seriously high performing shape when installed on SUPs and single fin surfboards whether they be Retro and/or noseriders (Incredible Ten, Soul, Neverstick). The Shapers (L’Ours) advice : ”Hello, The point that is most significant on the Fatboy is the increase angle hold while carving. It’s clear that the disproportionate surface area at the tip of the fin adds serious drive while noseriding but, I don’t think it is the most important quality because all noserider fins offer the same thing. The huge bulb at the tip is going to foil once it passes the vertical of the turn, so if you push a little to turn, the fin is going to accompany and even exagerate the turn. Well mastered it’s fantastic and when it’s not…….well it’s funny to watch!
