In just a few years, foiling has completely changed the game for thousands of watersports enthusiasts. It’s a complete paradigm shift where conditions previously considered as insufficient are now considered excellent! We can now enjoy insane sensations in poor conditions.

It’s a huge motivational boost that translates into a lot more time spent in the water. The most flexible foilers manage to achieve incredible stats without actually living on spots that are particularly favored by conditions like the spots where our ambassador Yohann lives. He shared his 2021 stats on our Facebook Group GONG Galaxy where he reached a new personal record thanks to foiling and flexible working hours.

“Foiling is really magic: I finished the year 2021 with 313 sessions including 301 on a foil: 54 dock starting sessions, 138 on a surf foil, 109 wing foiling: if you count the days when I couldn’t make it for external reasons and those when I was too lazy to go (it happened ;)), they days with no interesting conditions for one of those three sports get very rare.”
