NOTW 8’3 2026: The versatile inflatable DW SUP foil board

The HIPE NOTW 8’3 is the most versatile shape, offering increased maneuverability and ease in shorter, messier swells. It’s the ideal board for relaxed riding, especially in challenging conditions.

In 2026: more control, same commitment

The new HIPE NOTW features a more stable and balanced shape, delivering solid footing without sacrificing speed or performance.

Its compact length (8’3 vs 8’11 for the HIPE Intruder) maintains fast acceleration and excellent glide, even in rough conditions. When things get messy, the board remains composed, stable, and reassuring.

With 5 cm added at the wide point and 13 extra liters distributed around the stance, the board gains stability and better readability of the water surface. It handles chop more effectively and remains very solid underfoot.

Result: a board that is easier to keep flat before take-off (paddling, light wind winging, lowkite pulses, etc.), more comfortable during waiting phases, while still delivering the glide, speed, and commitment of a narrow outline once flying.

HIPE Intruder 2026: The fastest inflatable DW SUP foil board

The HIPE Intruder 8’11, longer than the NOTW, is the fastest paddling shape, capable of getting you flying on long, fast swells, even with smaller foils (around 700 cm²). It’s the performance-oriented inflatable board and the easiest for flat starts.

A new format in 2026, still just as fast

The new HIPE Intruder features an updated shape without losing the speed DNA that made it successful.

The shorter outline improves drive, while the added volume is evenly distributed, mainly around the stance. You benefit from better stability in all phases and naturally solid footing. The board smooths out small disturbances and stays flat before take-off.

Its length is slightly reduced to 8’11, making it 10 cm shorter, and combined with a 5 cm increase in width for an additional 11 liters of volume. The board gains maneuverability and ease of use while retaining its original speed and inertia.
