Overview

The Stunt is developed 100% for surf freestyle, with a compact shape designed to score as many tricks as possible while still being genuinely fun to surf.

Its DNA is clear: loads of pop, instant repop and great forgiveness on landings. The Stunt helps you initiate moves, but above all finish them cleanly. Its shape forgives small mistakes, keeps speed through water contact and lets you get going again quickly. It’s a board that makes you want to try more, more often.

Developed with the Pro Team for competition, it also supports progression really well for riders who want to get seriously into freestyle. Its compactness makes it highly manoeuvrable in rotations, while its predictable behaviour on landings lets you focus more on the move than on the board.

And the Stunt is not limited to tricks. Its compact size and high responsiveness make it a true surf freestyle board, capable of linking fast carves between two airs with loads of freedom. That’s exactly what you want when the waves become freestyle’s playground.

The shape is even more efficient on take-off and getting back up on foil. The very planing tail makes acceleration and repop easier, while the smoother nose handles touchdowns and landings better. The board therefore keeps its speed and gets back on foil quickly, even when the move is not landed perfectly.

The deeper recessed deck brings your feet even closer to the foil to enhance connection and precision. The volumes have been reworked around the rider to keep all the support needed for take-off and landings, while maintaining a very direct feel underfoot.

The Shock Traction Pad remains a real asset in freestyle. Its grip secures your footing in the most committed phases, while its thickness brings more comfort and cushioning on landings. With the straps properly dialled in, you can load your stance with much more confidence.

The Hollow Full Carbon construction naturally amplifies this programme: less rotational inertia, a board that responds instantly to input and even more lightness in the air. The Stunt follows the rider without delay and leaves all the room for the foil and the move.

Compact, forgiving and explosive when asked, the Stunt is the board for multiplying tricks, securing landings and scoring in surf freestyle.

OUTLINE

The very compact shape reduces rotational inertia and makes every board movement in the air easier. Its controlled maximum width brings a lot of precision to your foot pressure and keeps real freedom in surf.

The nose and tail provide more usable surface area to stabilise the board when it reconnects with the water. This distribution combines agility in the air and forgiveness on landings, without making the ride feel heavier.

ROCKER

The very flat rocker through the rear third lets the Stunt accelerate instantly before take-off. Every pump is easily converted into speed to trigger lift-off and set up the pop.

This flat rocker line is also highly effective on the way back down to the water. The board glides instead of sticking, which makes it easier to pop back up after a landing or a touchdown and link moves more quickly.

HULL

The rear section, almost flat with a slight concave, provides a highly efficient surface for building speed and bouncing back after contact with the water. It gives the Stunt plenty of support both on take-off and on landing.

At the front, the double concave channels the water and softens touchdowns. Even when a landing puts more load on the nose, the board limits drag and helps you get back up on foil quickly.

TAIL

The wide, flat round tail provides a solid platform under the back foot to load up the pop and add support on landings. Its volume helps the board come back flat quickly and get back up on foil.

Its outline narrows towards the tip to reduce bulk when the board is put on rail. The Stunt combines a highly efficient tail for freestyle with enough freedom to surf between tricks.

RAILS

The rails are straight and sharp in the tail to deliver clean release and shed water quickly. This geometry promotes acceleration before take-off and helps the board get going again immediately after landing.

Towards the nose, the rails gradually become softer and more rounded. Contact with the water is less abrupt, with less drag when the board touches down on landing or during a carve.

NOSE

The nose combines surface area and volume to provide real support when a landing pitches forward. The bulb’s maximum volume is brought closer to the rider to be more effective at the moment the board loads up on its nose.

Combined with the double concave and soft rails, this front end helps the Stunt bounce back rather than slow down. Nose dives are less punishing, and more landings can go straight back into flight.

Recessed deck

The recessed deck brings your feet closer to the foil for greater connection, precision and control. This lower position improves the transfer of rider input whether riding strapped or strapless, while maintaining enough freedom to adjust your stance. The rider feels more locked in, closer to the foil and benefits from a more direct feel through every maneuver.

Volume distributed from nose to tail

The lowered deck is combined with added volume at the front and rear to maintain support around the rider. The maximum nose volume is positioned closer to the stance to provide better support during take-off, acceleration and water contact. At the rear, the volume follows the same principle, creating a natural continuity in the shape from nose to tail.

Drain Plug

The drain plug has been specially designed to make operation safer and easier. Its shape allows it to lock directly into the board to ensure a watertight seal while riding, with a 90° twist-lock closure. When opening, the system passes through an intermediate position before fully releasing the plug. This maximizes airflow between sessions and also allows any water to drain out in the event of infiltration before repair.

Team Series Graphic Signature

The Team Series range shares an instantly recognizable visual identity built around a textured Frozen White finish that adds depth to the surface and creates an almost crystallized appearance depending on the light.

This light base is paired with a tail color specific to each shape, giving every board its own personality while maintaining a strong visual consistency across the range. The contrast between the Frozen White and the tail colors highlights the board’s lines and reinforces its identity without overloading the design.

Footstrap Inserts

The new footstrap inserts improve both adjustability and support. At the rear, the two-screw mounting system offers 5 positions for precise foot placement while limiting strap rotation under heavy loads. At the front, 3 positions allow you to fine-tune your stance, with double side inserts positioned diagonally to improve stability and keep the strap perfectly in place during the most committed riding.

Luxe Footstraps

The new boards come equipped with a set of V-shaped Luxe Footstraps, chosen by our Team for their comfort and precision. Adjustable with Velcro, they provide fine, tool-free adjustment, both on land and while riding, allowing you to quickly adapt the fit to your foot and riding style.

Each footstrap combines:

An adjustable internal structure with semi-rigid reinforcement to provide effective support around the arch of the foot.
A lined neoprene cover for lasting comfort and softness during long sessions.

Their three-hole baseplate allows for one- or two-screw mounting. Combined with the double inserts, the two-screw setup provides a more secure fit and limits strap rotation under heavy loads, keeping your footing more stable and precise during committed maneuvers.

Shock Traction Pad

Inspired by the best wave windsurfing board pads, the Shock Traction Pad is a true game changer in terms of control and comfort when riding gets more committed.

In freestyle, surfing or on landings, being able to rely on powerful, consistent grip is essential to keep your feet perfectly in place and transfer every input directly to the board. Contact remains firm and precise for highly direct foil control.

With up to 8 mm of thickness in the reinforced areas underfoot, the Shock Traction Pad provides superior cushioning where impacts are greatest. Landings are more comfortable for both the rider and the board, without sacrificing the precision required for control.

The pad is also bonded directly to the board’s epoxy surface. This creates an extremely reliable bond between the pad and the board, significantly reducing the risk of delamination over time and keeping your footing secure for the long term. The result: a grip that stays perfectly in place, total confidence underfoot and significantly improved durability.

Optimized carry handle

An optimized carry handle is positioned at the board’s balance point with the foil mounted. It makes carrying the board and getting into the water easier, providing a natural and comfortable grip.

Who is it for?

Are you seriously into freestyle? Do you like pushing yourself, sending tricks and steadily raising your level? The Stunt is built for exactly that.

It still requires solid foil basics:

Either you already have a significant number of hours flying in wing, with gybes dialled and your first tacks under your belt.
Or you already know how to handle a foil really well, in kite for example.
Or you’re comfortable in lowkite and want to add a real aerial dimension to your riding.
Or you have a solid windsurfing background, which will help a lot with wing handling and foot pressure.

The Stunt is designed to make freestyle more accessible, but the more volume you drop, the more balance and dynamism it demands before take-off. Its shape really comes into its own for the rider who wants to progress in jumps, stack more rotations and above all land more tricks.

It is clearly the board for anyone who wants to make the most of the wing’s freestyle potential, without giving up surfing between two moves.

The Stunt is a pure surf / freestyle board, with excellent take-off, loads of pop and above all repop designed to save and link tricks.

Its programme is clear:

The Stunt’s programme is very specific: freestyle first, surf second. So the foil needs to deliver pop, responsiveness, sharp acceleration and enough manoeuvrability to keep real freedom in the carves.

The Ypra Surf-Freestyle V3 ATMO: the natural match for the Stunt.
It’s the most coherent pairing to fully unlock its surf / freestyle programme. It prioritises pop, repop, speed build-up and quick foot pressure changes. The foil responds instantly when you load it, then quickly regains speed after a landing. It’s the choice for sending tricks while keeping real surfing ability.

The Fluid V3 ATMO: for more ease and versatility.
Its manoeuvrability and playful character let you turn tight, accelerate easily and keep a foil that feels very available under your feet. It suits riders progressing in freestyle particularly well, or those who want to keep a strong surf element in their riding. An excellent way to get the most out of the Stunt without going straight to the most specialised setup.

The Ypra Freestyle Micro V3 ATMO: to push pure freestyle further.
For the most advanced riders who put freestyle performance above everything else, the Ypra Freestyle Micro takes acceleration, pop and landing precision even further. It’s the most specialised setup, built to use the Stunt with a tricks-and-competition mindset.

Which stab / tail wing?

On the Stunt, the rear end of the foil should primarily serve pop, manoeuvrability and the ability to build speed again immediately after a landing. A tail wing focused heavily on glide would therefore make less sense here than a lively, responsive model.

The Surf-Freestyle: to unlock the Stunt’s full potential.
Paired with the Ypra Surf-Freestyle, it gives the foil plenty of freedom through foot pressure changes while promoting pop and quick speed build-up. Its behaviour matches the board’s programme directly: load, take off, land and go again with minimal dead time.

The Fluid: for a more versatile feel.
It keeps the foil lively and playful while offering handling that is easier to tap into. It’s a very good choice for progressing in freestyle, keeping control and making the most of the Stunt’s surf capabilities.

The Ypra Freestyle Micro: for the most advanced freestyle.
With a Ypra Freestyle Micro front wing, this tail wing delivers a setup entirely focused on acceleration, pop and landings. It’s the choice for riders looking above all for immediate response and maximum freedom for tricks.

The Tail Shaft then lets you fine-tune the foil’s character:

Short: more manoeuvrability and quicker response, particularly interesting for rotations, surfing and foot pressure changes.
Medium: more balance and control while keeping a very playful foil, ideal for versatile surf / freestyle use.

Tail wing size then lets you fine-tune the level of stability. A bigger model brings more support and makes landing control easier, while a smaller model frees up the foil, speeds up foot pressure changes and increases liveliness.

On the Stunt, the choice should therefore stay simple: Surf-Freestyle to maximise tricks, Fluid to keep more versatility, and Ypra Freestyle Micro to push pure freestyle to the highest level.

Equipments

These boards are equipped with 2 GONG US Box Double Entry tracks compatible with standard 4-bolt plate foils and the SCS system with 9 cm spacing, Luxe footstraps with multi-position anti-twist inserts, a Shock Traction Pad, an integrated carry handle, a leash plug, an automatic pressure relief screw and a drain valve.

The Double Entry system allows for very fast mounting of GONG foils while remaining compatible with standard square nut setups. The SCS is not supplied with the board.

Leash plug on the tail so you never lose your board.
Automatic pressure relief screw to balance internal pressure while riding (see the How To).
Drain valve to be left open between sessions, during storage and transport to promote air exchange, then closed again just before launch, it also allows water to be drained before repair in case of water ingress.
Tightening tool supplied to easily open and close the drain valve and ensure proper tightening before launch.

Who is the Stunt for?

The Stunt is aimed at riders who want to put freestyle at the heart of their riding, while still keeping real surfing ability. It suits riders from a solid intermediate level upwards and will take their progression a long way thanks to its pop, manoeuvrability and, above all, its forgiveness on landings.

It is particularly well suited to those who want to try more tricks, land them more cleanly and get back up on foil quickly.

Can you progress in freestyle on a Stunt without being an expert?

Yes. The Stunt was developed for performance, but its shape is precisely what makes freestyle more accessible. Its high-lift tail, its pop and the forgiveness of its nose limit the punishment when a move isn’t landed perfectly.

With a volume suited to your level, it lets you start sending it properly while keeping enough forgiveness to progress.

Is the Stunt only designed for freestyle?

No. Its programme is around 80% freestyle and 20% surf. Its compact format and low swing weight let you switch quickly from one rail to the other and keep a very playful feel in the waves.

It is particularly interesting for freestyle surf, when you want to link together carves, airs and tricks on the same wave.

Why does the Stunt make landings easier?

Its shape distributes plenty of support around the nose and tail so the board can recover its trim more easily when it touches down. The planing hull at the rear helps maintain speed, while the double concave and soft rails up front reduce harsh deceleration.

Result: an imperfect landing can more easily turn into a repop rather than a crash.

Does the Stunt take off easily despite its very compact size?

Yes. Its very flat rocker through the rear third and highly planing hull let it build speed quickly. The board releases water efficiently and rapidly reaches the speed needed for take-off.

This ability to lift off and, above all, to regain speed quickly after a touchdown is essential to its freestyle programme.

Which volume should you choose for a Stunt?

Comfortable volume makes the Stunt much easier in the kneeling phases, restarts and chop. By bringing the volume closer to your weight, or even going slightly below it, the board becomes more discreet and more responsive underfoot, but demands more technique and fitness.

The right choice therefore depends as much on your freestyle level as on your ability to handle a compact board before take-off.
