Surf, freefly and freeride, in a high-performance range that always stays easy to access.

Overview

The Lemon is the most compact and comfortable surf-oriented board in our range, while fully preserving its role as an ultra-versatile board.

Its elongated shape and relatively narrow width for a compact board give it excellent glide before take-off. Its pinched diamond tail combined with wingers reduces bulk through carves and gives it that particularly enjoyable feel in surf and freefly.

The deeper recessed deck in the pad area brings your feet even closer to the foil. The board is thinner underfoot, the connection becomes more direct, and control gains precision. This lower stance also comes with a new volume distribution: support is brought closer to the rider at the front and reinforced in the tail to maintain comfort and balance on take-off.

Glide is one of the Lemon’s biggest strengths. It accelerates easily on the water and lets you take off early with very little effort. Just a few pumps are enough to get going. This efficiency also makes it possible to get the most out of modern foils: you can ride a smaller, higher-performance wing without needlessly sacrificing ease of take-off.

Once flying, its low front-to-back bulk completely frees up your foot pressure. The Lemon is lively, precise and playful, with all the manoeuvrability needed to link tight carves, surf in freefly or send jumps. Its tail also delivers excellent pop and makes it easier to pop back up after a touchdown or landing.

Despite its performance, the Lemon remains particularly accessible. Its longitudinal stability and balanced volume distribution bring comfort in waiting phases and during take-off, including when conditions get more demanding.

With its many centred or offset strap adjustment options, its front mounting with double anti-rotation screws and its pad perfectly suited to strapless riding, it lets you fine-tune your stance precisely for either a surf or freeride setup.

Compact, easy and high-performing, the Lemon lets you surf hard without ever making the ride complicated.

OUTLINE

With its compact yet comfortable outline, the Lemon offers excellent stability for its size. Its width around the stance makes foot pressure easier and helps you find your bearings quickly, even in choppy conditions.

The outline narrows towards the rounded point nose and diamond tail with wingers to reduce swing weight in flight. This keeps the board easy before take-off and very free in carves.

ROCKER

The stretched rocker through the rear third promotes glide and acceleration. The Lemon reaches take-off speed easily and requires less effort when pumping.

During touchdowns or landings, this stretched line keeps the board moving forward and makes it easier to pop back up onto foil.

HULL

The flat, planing hull through the rear third delivers a clean water release that maximises glide before take-off. It gets you up to flying speed quickly and makes it easier to use smaller foils.

Up front, the double concave channels the flow and softens touchdowns by limiting deceleration.

TAIL

The diamond tail with wingers keeps support around the back foot before pulling the outline in at the tail. This keeps the Lemon stable on take-off while giving it more freedom through carves.

The rear volume reinforces that support and makes pumping and restarts easier, with less energy spent.

RAILS

The rails are straight and sharp in the tail to promote clean water release and maximise glide during acceleration.

They gradually become softer towards the nose, to better handle chop and touchdowns. The Lemon therefore keeps a smooth, comfortable feel in surf as well as in freefly.

NOSE

The generous rounded point nose provides support without creating too much bulk in flight. The bulb’s maximum volume is brought closer to the rider to better support the board during acceleration.

Combined with the double concave and soft rails, this nose smooths out touchdowns without abruptly killing speed and helps the board naturally regain flight.

Recessed deck

The recessed deck brings your feet closer to the foil for greater connection, precision and control. This lower position improves the transfer of rider input whether riding strapped or strapless, while maintaining enough freedom to adjust your stance. The rider feels more locked in, closer to the foil and benefits from a more direct feel through every maneuver.

Volume distributed from nose to tail

The lowered deck is combined with added volume at the front and rear to maintain support around the rider. The maximum nose volume is positioned closer to the stance to provide better support during take-off, acceleration and water contact. At the rear, the volume follows the same principle, creating a natural continuity in the shape from nose to tail.

Drain Plug

The drain plug has been specially designed to make operation safer and easier. Its shape allows it to lock directly into the board to ensure a watertight seal while riding, with a 90° twist-lock closure. When opening, the system passes through an intermediate position before fully releasing the plug. This maximizes airflow between sessions and also allows any water to drain out in the event of infiltration before repair.

Team Series Graphic Signature

The Team Series range shares an instantly recognizable visual identity built around a textured Frozen White finish that adds depth to the surface and creates an almost crystallized appearance depending on the light.

This light base is paired with a tail color specific to each shape, giving every board its own personality while maintaining a strong visual consistency across the range. The contrast between the Frozen White and the tail colors highlights the board’s lines and reinforces its identity without overloading the design.

Footstrap Inserts

The new footstrap inserts improve both adjustability and support. At the rear, the two-screw mounting system offers 5 positions for precise foot placement while limiting strap rotation under heavy loads. At the front, 3 positions allow you to fine-tune your stance, with double side inserts positioned diagonally to improve stability and keep the strap perfectly in place during the most committed riding.

Luxe Footstraps

The new boards come equipped with a set of V-shaped Luxe Footstraps, chosen by our Team for their comfort and precision. Adjustable with Velcro, they provide fine, tool-free adjustment, both on land and while riding, allowing you to quickly adapt the fit to your foot and riding style.

Each footstrap combines:

An adjustable internal structure with semi-rigid reinforcement to provide effective support around the arch of the foot.
A lined neoprene cover for lasting comfort and softness during long sessions.

Their three-hole baseplate allows for one- or two-screw mounting. Combined with the double inserts, the two-screw setup provides a more secure fit and limits strap rotation under heavy loads, keeping your footing more stable and precise during committed maneuvers.

Ridge Traction Pad

With its perfect grip and 5 mm thickness, the new Ridge Traction Pad delivers outstanding comfort and traction. Your footing is completely secure, giving you surgical precision and control.

Contact with the board is firm and direct for precise foil control, while retaining the cushioning of a 5 mm pad.

The pad is also bonded directly to the board’s epoxy surface. This creates an extremely reliable bond between the pad and the board, significantly reducing the risk of delamination over time and keeping your footing secure for the long term. The result: a grip that stays perfectly in place, total confidence underfoot and significantly improved durability.

Optimized carry handle

An optimized carry handle is positioned at the board’s balance point with the foil mounted. It makes carrying the board and getting into the water easier, providing a natural and comfortable grip.

Who is it for?

It’s a simple, stable board, to the point where you could almost learn on it, but you still need enough of a level to really love it:

Either you already have a significant number of hours flying with a wing (say, solid gybes and the start of your tacks).
Or you already know how to handle a foil really well (in kite foiling, for example).
Or you have a windsurfing background: that helps a lot with handling the wing and staying on your feet.

In every case, even though it’s easy, the Lemon is performance-oriented, exactly as its programme suggests.

In high volume (your weight +30), it’s genuinely very easy. But if you go for a volume close to your weight (+10), staying on your knees in chop will naturally require more balance and more dynamism.

It’s clearly the board for anyone who wants to make the most of a wing’s potential in the waves while keeping comfort and ease of use.

What for?

The Lemon is a pure wave riding / freefly board, with enough comfort to make life easier and throw tricks with a clear mind, knowing you won’t struggle to get going again.

In short: it’s 80% wave riding and 20% freestyle / jumps. So 100% freeride ;-)

It’s responsive and playful. Everything falls naturally into place under your feet, with loads of control as speed builds and real ease when linking up carves.

Ideal in surf and very comfortable in jumps, it lets you push for high performance while keeping the accessibility that defines the Lemon.

Which foil?

The Lemon pairs particularly well with foils that prioritise manoeuvrability, carving and responsiveness. Its glide before take-off also lets you enjoy faster foils or smaller surface areas without making take-offs unnecessarily difficult.

The Curve V3 ATMO: the manoeuvrability and control combo.
This is the reassuring, versatile choice. Its lift, predictable handling and ease through carves are a perfect match for the Lemon’s accessible character. It lets you progress in surf and freefly while keeping plenty of comfort.

The Fluid V3 ATMO: the manoeuvrability and speed combo.
More lively, it lets you turn tight, accelerate and quickly link rail-to-rail transitions. Its playful character makes the most of the Lemon’s compact shape in surf, freefly and manoeuvres.

The Veloce V3 ATMO: the glide and speed combo.
Its efficiency helps preserve speed and draw out long carves. It lets you get the most out of the Lemon in fast freeride and freefly, with a foil that carries efficiently through lulls and extends every gliding phase.

The Veloce Free Fly V3 ATMO: loads of glide without locking in the handling.
It holds speed easily while staying manoeuvrable enough to play with your lines. It’s a very natural pairing for freefly and surf with wider carves.

The Veloce Light Wind V3 ATMO: efficiency in light conditions.
Its lift and glide help you get going early and stay flying with very little energy. The Lemon’s good acceleration complements that programme perfectly for stacking up sessions when the wind drops.

The Sirus V3 ATMO: to maximise low-end range.
Its strong lift and excellent efficiency make take-off and staying in flight at low speed easier. It’s the choice for making the most of light conditions while still enjoying the Lemon’s manoeuvrability once airborne.

The Ypra Surf-Freestyle V3 ATMO: the surf and freestyle mix.
More dynamic, it prioritises pop, repop, speed build-up and quick foot pressure changes. It will suit riders who want to push the Lemon further in the waves and in manoeuvres.

Which stab?

The stab plays an important role in the character of the foil under a Lemon. Its surf and freefly DNA lets you vary the overall behaviour quite a lot: more planted and reassuring to prioritise ease, or looser and more responsive to boost manoeuvrability.

Ideally, we recommend pairing your front wing with a V3 ATMO stab from the same programme. Each family has been developed to keep consistency between the front wing and the stab’s behaviour.

The Curve: control and carving.
It brings solid support, stability and very predictable handling. It’s an excellent choice for making the most of the Lemon’s easy side, progressing in the waves and keeping a reassuring foil when the water state gets rougher.

The Fluid: liveliness and manoeuvrability.
It frees up the foil more through foot pressure changes and makes short carves easier. The handling becomes more playful and responsive, which is a particularly good match for a Lemon used in surf, freefly or for stacking up manoeuvres.

The Veloce: glide and speed.
It prioritises efficiency and speed retention. It lets you stretch out your lines, keep more energy between bumps and give the Lemon a more glide- and freefly-oriented character.

The Surf-Freestyle: pop and freedom.
It promotes looser handling and quick foot pressure changes. Its character is particularly well suited to a Lemon used for jumps, dynamic speed build-up and more active surf.

The stab size then lets you fine-tune the behaviour regardless of the family you choose:

Larger: more rear lift, support and stability. The foil is easier to settle, more progressive and more forgiving.
Smaller: less support but more liveliness, acceleration and freedom through carves. In return, the foil requires more precise handling.

On the Lemon, it’s particularly interesting to keep a stab with enough lift to preserve its easy character, then gradually reduce the size when you want more freedom in surf and freefly. So the best setup is not necessarily the smallest one: it’s the one that gives you the right balance of confidence, manoeuvrability and responsiveness for your level and the way you ride.

Equipments

These boards are equipped with 2 GONG US Box Double Entry boxes compatible with standard 4-bolt plate foils and the SCS system with 9 cm spacing, Luxe footstraps with multi-position anti-twist inserts, a Ridge Traction Pad, an integrated carry handle, a leash plug, an automatic pressure relief screw and a high-flow drainage valve.

The Double Entry system allows very fast mounting of GONG foils while remaining compatible with standard square-nut setups. The SCS is not supplied with the board.

Who is the Lemon for?

The Lemon is aimed at riders who already have the basics of wing foiling dialled in and want to progress towards more surf, freefly and manoeuvrability, without stepping onto a demanding board. It remains stable and comfortable for its size, letting you enjoy a compact shape without making take-offs and getting going again unnecessarily complicated.

Can you start out on a Lemon?

It’s accessible enough for an athletic rider with solid basics to feel comfortable on it quickly, but it wouldn’t be our first choice for learning wing foiling from scratch. It really comes into its own once your first flights, gybes and lines are already dialled in, and you want to start making more of the waves and freefly.

What’s the difference between the Lemon and the Mint?

The Lemon pushes the slider further towards a compact, surfy feel. Its outline, diamond tail with wingers and compact dimensions make it especially natural through weight transfers and carves.

The Mint keeps more length and width to prioritise glide, stability and even broader versatility. The Lemon is therefore particularly appealing if surf and freefly play a big part in your riding, while still wanting to keep an easy board.

Does the Lemon lift off easily despite its compact size?

Yes. Its taut tail rocker and planing hull let it accelerate efficiently before take-off. It requires very little pumping to reach take-off speed, and its glide also makes it possible to use high-performance foils without systematically making starts more difficult.

How does it handle touchdowns and landings?

The Lemon was designed so that contact with the water is as forgiving as possible. The double concave nose, softened forward rails and stretched rocker line help you carry more speed through a touchdown.

The planing tail then makes take-off easier again: the board naturally lifts back into flight rather than staying stuck to the water. It’s a real plus both in surf and on jumps.

Can you ride the Lemon with or without straps?

Yes. The Lemon works perfectly in both configurations. Strapless, its recessed deck and pad let you move your feet naturally to make the most of its manoeuvrability in surf and freefly.

With straps, the different positions let you adapt your stance to your riding. The front outboard inserts with double screws improve strap hold and limit rotation when you start pushing harder through your feet.
