For whom?
For beginner to intermediate riders looking for the pack that will allow them to take their first waves but also their first reconnections.
For what ?
To allow you to start and progress in Surf foiling with ease. Have comfort when paddling to go back to the peak and ride the waves. You will thus be able to progress faster and achieve the Holy Grail of taking several waves with just 1 take off.
What size?
Front Wing :
The Front Wing X-Over is aimed at all sizes.
The M has a wingspan of 74cm, 850 cm2
- In wing, it is a small wing for light weights.
- In surf foiling, it is a small wing for light riders.
- In kite foiling, it is a very versatile wing that carries even at very low speed.
The L has a wingspan of 84cm, 1108 cm2.
- In wing, it is a medium wing for those under 75kg.
- In surf foiling, it is a medium wing for those under 75kg.
The XL has a wingspan of 95 cm, 1410 cm2.
- In wing, it is a great wing for weights of 75 to 85kg.
- In surf foiling, it is a great wing for people weighing 75 to 85kg.
The XXL has a wingspan of 106 cm, 1747 cm2.
- In wing, It’s a great wing for people over 85kg and light wind.
- In surf foiling, it is a great wing for people over 85kg and small waves.
General: we will use a larger wing in low ranges, soft conditions. And conversely a smaller wing in muscular conditions. What you need to remember is that the choice of your wing depends on your size which requires lift and your average speed which generates lift.
Stab:
X-Over Stabs are very simple. Choose the size you usually like from GONG.
Always adjust the size of the stab to the size of the forehead wing for a balanced flight.
The L makes 40cm span, 236 cm2, 6.6mm thick.
- In surf foiling, it is a stab that will suit the majority of medium-sized foilers.
- In wing, it's perfect for resourceful riders looking for versatility with a very good low range.
- In kite foil, it is a great stab for strong riders.
The XL does 44cm span, 280 cm2, 7.2 cm thick.
- In surf foiling, it is a great stab for strong builds and big wings.
- In wing, This is a great stab for strong builds and big wings.
- In kite foil: forget it, it’s too big.
Mast:
- Matt Aluminum 55 cm : Short and almost without a lever arm, it is ideal for beginners when you want to go slowly, surfing, waking, SUP, or in wing ; or in shallow water.
- Matt Aluminum 62 cm : Perfect for progressing without stress, to be reserved for your beginnings because it will not offer the height margin to progress far.
- Matt Aluminum 70 cm : “Standard” length in surfing for simple balance and a good mix of carving and pumping. A key size for surfing, wake, and SUP. Nice at first wing so as not to stress.
- Matt Aluminum 77 cm : The most efficient size in surfing and SUP to carve. Great for pumping too, it's a bit short mate to be at the top in wing but which some use in waves for more control and passing through little water, or for more serene beginnings and progression.
- Matt Aluminum 85 cm : Reference length in wing for a practice ranging from freeride to surfing through freestyle at the highest level, offering the best mix of performances. Kite top for maximum control, in big air for example. Great tow in while surfing.
- Matt Aluminum 92 cm : Perfect in wing for freeride or tackling the race, it is great in waves for solid full speed carvings. Perfect for kitefoiling, it offers a little extra margin in choppy conditions.
The mast must be associated with its plate ALU FLAT TOP V3 and his Mast Fuselage Connector V3 for completeness. To ensure you enjoy your aluminum parts for a long time, we recommend using Tef Gel on all screws.

- 2 US box GONG Double Entry for standard foils equipped with 4-screw plates + inserts and compatible with SCS system (9cm spacing). This new system allows ultra-fast mounting of GONG foils. (SCS inserts NOT INCLUDED WITH THE BOARD).
- Deck Pad 5 mm RIDGE Traction Pad: deck covering designed for great comfort and absolute grip.
- Concrete Fixed leash plug at the tail to never lose your board.
