With the paddle holder, you can seamlessly link upwind and downwind runs with your GONG wing.

The perfect accessory for deflate downwinders.

Swap out your boom or handles on your GONG wing for our well thought-out paddle holders, letting you secure your paddle with ease.

This setup lets you crank upwind, using your paddle as a boom. Once at the top of the spot, if conditions allow, you deflate the wing, pack it in your backpack, and enjoy the downwind ride with your paddle.

Naturally, you’ll need a proper downwind board and the right foil to go with it.

Paddle Holder sold individually.

Only compatible with GONG wings featuring the GFS V1 or GFS V2 interchangeable handle/boom system.

If your wing has the GFS V1 system, you’ll need to add the V2 Handle Support to mount the paddle holder.

Utilisation

The paddle holder is built for easy mounting:

Remove the boom or handles from your GONG wing (compatible if it’s equipped with the GFS system, V1 or V2).
Attach the paddle holder with the V2 Handle Support (Note: If your wing has a GFS V1 system—2024 models and previous models—you’ll need to get the V2 Handle Support separately).
Lock in your paddle with the fastening system, and you’re ready to go!

Before heading out, you’ll need to fine-tune the fit according to your paddle’s diameter. You can adjust the cord length. If you need more adjustment, add a layer of tape to slightly increase the paddle’s thickness for a perfect fit.

Just be mindful not to overtighten—fiberglass or carbon paddles can be delicate, and the clamping system is strong. You want a firm click, but without excessive pressure.
