Overview
The Carter is the elegant, easy and versatile board you choose when you want to go surfing without overthinking it. A board made to catch waves, keep your style and enjoy smooth glide in a wide range of conditions.
Its real talent is making surfing simple, beautiful and natural. It paddles easily, gets going early and instantly delivers a feeling of comfort. You position yourself better, catch more waves and get more out of every session, even when the conditions are not perfect.
On the wave, the Carter makes you want to draw lines. It carries speed, links carves smoothly and leaves plenty of freedom in your trajectories. In clean, long or well-shaped waves, it delivers truly pure glide, with that racy feel that makes you want to stretch every line a little further.
It is a board with style, but not just that. It can cruise effortlessly, accelerate when the wave calls for it and become far more high-performance under the feet of a committed surfer. It stays accessible, but never becomes limiting as your level goes up.
Its versatility lets you adapt it to your surfing. As a single, it offers very pure, classic glide. In 2+1, it gains control and drive. With more side fins, it becomes more modern, more precise and more radical.
The Carter is an everyday board with real soul. It is aimed at surfers who want to catch more waves, surf with style and keep a high-performance board across a very broad range of use.
OUTLINE
The outline is harmonious, smooth and racy. It provides enough surface area to paddle fast, get in early and stay comfortable, without making the board feel heavy to ride. The wide point set forward brings stability and great paddling efficiency. The rounded point nose makes take-offs easier, while keeping an elegant, high-performance line through carves.
ROCKER
The rocker is very progressive. It naturally supports glide and lets you link carves without any break in flow. You keep your speed, control and a very fluid feel underfoot. That’s what gives it that smooth, natural and precise ride, ideal for drawing beautiful lines without forcing it.
BOTTOM SHAPE
The hull combines a belly in the nose, a V through the centre and a double concave in the tail. The belly smooths out water entry and keeps the board composed at high speed. The V makes rail-to-rail transitions easier. The double concave adds control and drive under the back foot, so you can push through your turns with confidence.
TAIL
The rounded pin tail blends hold, speed and manoeuvrability. It lets you link clean carves, stay in control through fast sections and carry great speed out of your line. Its shape delivers a smooth, precise ride without locking the board in.
RAILS
The rails are thin and precise. The domed deck keeps thickness through the centre for comfort and paddling, while thinning out the rails to improve hold. The result is a more direct, cleaner and more confident ride when you commit to your carves.

Buying guide
Who is it for?
The Carter is aimed at surfers who want a board that paddles easily, with elegance and versatility, without ending up on a soft or limited board.
It suits intermediate to experienced surfers who want to catch more waves, draw beautiful carves and stay comfortable in a wide range of conditions.
What for?
For surfing with style, speed and flow every day.
The Carter lets you get in early, maintain glide and link clean carves without forcing it. It can cruise effortlessly, but also become more precise and capable of going more radical as the surfer’s level progresses.
What board size?
Choose a size with enough volume to make the most of its real strength: easy paddling and an early take-off.
A more compact size will deliver a livelier, more playful ride, closer to a stylish shortboard.
A longer size will bring more glide, more comfort and more drawn-out carves.

What are the ideal waves?
The Carter works across a very broad range: mellow beach break, hollower reef, fast point break, long waves or everyday sessions.
It really comes into its own in smooth, clean and well-shaped waves, where its continuous glide lets you draw long lines with loads of style.
Which construction?
In PU, the Carter gains inertia, comfort and control. It’s the ideal choice for smoother glide, more settled carves and a more traditional feel.
In EPS, it will be lighter, livelier and more responsive. That’s the construction to go for if you want more speed build-up, more snap and more ease in small waves.
Which fin set-up?
As a single, the Carter delivers the purest glide: loads of style, flow and long lines.
In 2+1, it gains control, drive and versatility. It’s the most balanced set-up for surfing with comfort and precision.
With more input from the side fins, it becomes more modern, more direct and more capable of going radical in the carves.
Which shape should you choose?
Choose the Carter if you want an elegant, versatile and comfortable board, capable of surfing almost anywhere with real glide quality.
Choose a shorter, more radical board if you’re mainly looking for vertical surfing and aggressive manoeuvres.
Choose a longer, more voluminous board if your absolute priority is paddling, stability and cruising.
The Carter sits between these worlds: easy, stylish, high-performing and adaptable.
